-I am here, walking through the door like a normal person! - All Might shouted, surprising the students of class 1-A.
Excitement shone on the teenagers' faces as the man in the suit and cape announced the battle practices and that they would be using their hero costumes.
Bakugo's predatory smile widened as he looked over his shoulder at a black-haired student with an impassive expression. Again, he completely ignored the existence of that same boy's sister.
Tetsumaru, however, frowned. He had requested a particular suit that would help him with his defense, but his request was not accepted. As they had assumed, he would first need to make a name for himself before scheduling something so expensive.
It was the same case for Mei. She didn't need a suit that enhanced her abilities, but material that was resistant enough not to be damaged. And neither of them liked the idea of wearing such extravagant and strange costumes. It simply didn't go well with their incarnations.
And just as they had imagined, the outfits UA made for them were ugly as hell.
-Huh? Tetsumaru-san, aren't you going to use the costume you requested? - asked Midoriya curiously upon seeing that the sharp-eyed boy completely discarded the briefcase where his hero costume lay.
-Just Tetsumaru. And no, I won't use that thing. It's too ugly and ridiculous- said the teenager while pulling clothes out of his backpack, just like Midoriya.
-If you don't like it, why did you send it then? - Kirishima asked, confused. Tetsumaru shook his head.
-No, they didn't approve what I requested and made something different on their own- he explained. He simply asked for a dark blue armor whose design would resemble that of a certain era of certain warring kingdoms in a certain fictional world, perhaps not so fictional anymore.
In the girls' locker room, Mei was going through the same situation.
-Ugh, this is crap, Tetsumaru! These guys put mini water tanks on my forearms to shoot, but it looks so ugly and it doesn't match my dress- she informed her other half through their bond.
-I'm sorry, Mei. The same thing is happening here. How are the tights?
-Hm, yes they are fine. They are the only redeemable thing about these rags.
After changing and going out, everyone gathered and took a second look at their classmates' attire. Mineta in particular, ran his eyes over every curve of the tight costumes, and closely scanned every millimeter of skin that Mei and Momo exposed.
True to the original, Mei wore a blue, long-sleeved dress that exposed her shoulders and part of her developing chest. Underneath it, she wore tights made of a very resistant fiber, and a natural insulator against electricity, her most obvious weakness given her water attribute.
She wore tight, short shorts, long socks, and shin guards. She refused to wear the special boots that came with the costume, having already bought heeled sandals similar to the original Mei's.
As an extra, she made sure to braid her reddish-brown hair into the same ponytail as the Mizukage's.
For his part, Tetsumaru wore a tunic identical to Gaara's in Shippuden, with the exception of its color: Dark blue, which resembled his Satetsu.
He also wore shin guards and, of course, Ninja sandals.
Despite appearances, the half-inherited muscle memory in these bodies allowed them to fight freely without their clothes getting in the way and causing them embarrassing moments.
-Alright, alright, pay attention, young heroes! - All Might called out, getting the group's attention.
-This will be an indoor battle drill! - the over six-foot-tall man began to explain. While that was happening, Mei wholeheartedly wished she wouldn't have to fight against Todoroki.
Her water alone would not be enough to penetrate the building, or defend it, depending on the role she had to play. She was not eager to expose her Boil Release here.
Luckily for Mei, the shinobi duo ended up on Team F, which was originally occupied by Koda and Sato. Not that they would know in any case.
During the first confrontations, things happened just as in the manga. Midoriya VS Bakugo and his injury, Todoroki crushing Toru and Ojiro, and Momo's incredible analysis that left the whole class surprised.
Mei and Tetsumaru didn't bother to comment on anything, standing apart at the back of the group.
It's not that they were trying to be mysterious or anything, there just wasn't much enthusiasm for these activities.
Although their minds weren't those of warriors or tacticians, they did inherit a certain battle instinct from their incarnations.
For them, these were nothing more than children playing with powers.
And so the siblings remained, until their turn finally arrived.
Villains: Terumi Mei and Terumi Tetsumaru
Heroes: Ashido Mina and Aoyama Yuga.
Aizawa's gaze was fixed on the monitors. He wanted to see how these enigmatic siblings would perform.
