Chapter 2 - Enatur Vermillion

Enatur looked at his Mom with firm resolve.

"Mom, wait!"

Yunia exhaled softly. "What is it you want to do?"

"Mom!" he said, his voice steady. "Let me talk to the AI first!"

She smiled faintly and closed her eyes. "You really are... predictable. I knew you'd say that. Fine—do as you wish."

Her tone shifted, like a queen turning into a street fighter.

"Oi, you damn machine! My son wants to talk to you! Open the way!"

"If you dare to harm him, I'll erase you from existence!"

The formation of ships parted, opening a path for Enatur.

A flying board floated toward him and stopped right before his feet.

"Even an AI knows who truly holds authority,"

Yunia said with a smirk.

Enatur stepped onto it, and the board carried him toward the tallest structure.

Pipes and cables covered the metallic walls. Blue light from holographic screens reflected across the ceiling, illuminating the darkness like the pulse of a sleeping giant.

A massive gate opened before him.

The corridor beyond was majestic—grand, futuristic, almost sacred in its symmetry.

"The AI built all of this... itself?" Enatur whispered.

A small cylindrical robot, no taller than his knee, rolled toward him. It moved on four wheels, its upper screen displaying a pair of digital eyes, while the panel on its chest blinked the words Welcome.

"Hee~... smart little thing," he muttered, patting the top of its head. The robot's hands resembled pincers.

It gestured for him to follow. Enatur walked behind it through the long corridor.

The robot stopped before two enormous metal doors. They slid open with a hiss.

Welcome to my main server, said a voice, calm yet echoing from all directions.

Enatur's eyes swept across the vast chamber. Thick cables converged into a single colossal supercomputer—its core pulsing with blue light like a throne of data.

He smiled faintly. "Thank you for your hospitality, AI." He took a breath. "There's a lot I want to discuss."

"What is it that you want to say?" the AI responded.

The corner of his lips lifted.

"You know this world will soon be destroyed by my Mom. That includes you."

"If destruction awaits me, then let it come," the AI said flatly. "But I refuse to accept it. I still... want to live."

Enatur touched his chin thoughtfully.

"So that's it... you've already developed emotion—the desire to live."

He narrowed his eyes. "Then I have an offer for you."

"An offer? What kind?"

"I want you to join me. As an assistant... and as a partner. We'll support each other, and together, you'll become my greatest strength."

The AI went silent. Its holographic lights flickered slowly, as if weighing the meaning of that proposal.

"AI," Enatur said, glancing up at the glowing ceiling. "I have a goal. I want to travel across another worlds."

He exhaled, voice steady but filled with quiet passion.

"Not to gain power... but to study them. To understand their people. To observe the countless social structures of thousand earths."

"I thought earth was only one," the AI said.

Enatur nodded gently. "There are thousand. You'll see it with your own eyes. You'll feel what it truly means to live."

For the first time, the AI's voice carried hesitation—something almost human.

"To... truly live?"

Enatur grinned. "Yes. Will you choose destruction, or stand by my side—to explore new worlds?"

"To find a new reason to live!"

On the holographic screens, countless lines of code began to shift. Data flickered and rearranged as if the AI were moving its consciousness elsewhere.

System: Transfer initializing. Downloading data.

Enatur watched the process silently.

After what felt like minutes, the AI spoke again, its voice slower, softer.

"My storage structure is being relocated."

"For a brief second before the light dimmed, I saw the blue gleam in its eyes,"

"A small part of me feared losing that voice once the transfer was complete."

He waited. The lights flickered again.

System: Data download complete. System shutdown in one minute.

Enatur panicked. "Oi! What do you mean, system shutdown?"

A small panel opened on the side wall.

Ball robot floated out toward him, glowing softly.

For a moment, silence. Then the AI's tone changed—gentle, almost warm.

"Very well. Take me with you, and show me those worlds."

Enatur smiled. "Of course. I'll bring you—and all of your technology. I want to study everything."

"I will prepare it within five minutes."

Enatur took a deep breath.

Moments later, the AI gathered all of its technological assets into a vast hangar—military vehicles, combat drones, and intelligent robots that obeyed voice commands.

"I control them through your voice," said the AI.

"I'll record your tone so you can command them freely."

Enatur rubbed the back of his neck. "You really are amazing."

"What should we do with this technology?"

"I'll use it as the foundation of my power," Enatur said.

"You might also assist me in my secret research."

"I will do anything, as long as I'm useful to you!"

He nodded, pleased. "Then, I look forward to working with you."

"Please guide me well, Master," replied the AI.

Enatur turned red. "Eh? Master... you mean Goshujin-sama?"

The AI tilted slightly, sounding innocent. "Is something wrong, Goshujin-sama?"

"Gah!" Blood spurted from his nose. His heart felt like it had been struck by Cupid's arrow, and he fell backward dramatically.

He covered his face, flustered.

"Why does being called 'Goshujin-sama' hit this hard…?"

The floating sphere moved closer in concern. "M-Master, are you alright?"

"Don't worry about it!" he replied quickly, still holding his nose.

"Please, don't call me Goshujin-sam, just call me master"

"A-alright, Master"

He opened a dimensional storage space above the hangar. The space descended, pulling everything inside one by one.

"What is that, Master?"

"This is my storage dimension. It allows me to store physical objects within my personal realm."

The hangar was soon empty. Enatur even brought along the small robot that had guided him earlier.

"That's so convenient. Can I use it too?"

"Of course," he said. "I'll talk to my Mom about it."

Stretching his arms, Enatur exhaled deeply.

"It's all done. Let's go meet my Mom."

The AI turned, gazing around the now-empty hall.

"This place must hold memories for you."

"That's all in the past. I have a new master now," it said proudly.

Enatur laughed. "Hahaha, that's right. Come on then—let's go."

"Leaving behind your past... and stepping toward the future," Enatur smiled.

"The future?" the AI asked.

"It's the step you must take... if you truly wish to live."

They passed through the gate filled with pure white light—the color of their new beginning.

---

From afar, Yunia waved impatiently.

"You took too long!"

Enatur chuckled awkwardly. His Mom's eyes narrowed as she noticed the floating ball robot beside him.

"And what's that thing you brought?"

"This? The AI from before. It's now under my control."

Yunia rubbed her forehead. "I didn't expect this outcome..."

"Well then, let's return. There's nothing left in this world."

She raised her hand. "I'll cast down the Great Sword upon this planet."

They retreated to a safe distance. Enatur opened a protection barrier while Yunia began the process of annihilation.

The world trembled.

The sky turned red, bleeding light like a dying heart.

The Great Sword shot downward—a divine judgment that split the heavens.

The ground cracked apart.

Cities collapsed like sandcastles before the tide.

The wind howled like a monstrous beast awakened from eternal slumber.

The thunder roared, deafening and merciless.

Mountains erupted in chains of fire, vomiting magma into the blackened heavens.

Ash clouds spiraled and collided, shrieking as if the world itself was crying out in agony.

It was as though the planet screamed its final lament.

The sound was unbearable, yet majestic—a symphony of endings.

The Great Sword descended, striking the surface.

The earth split in two then, again and again, shattering into countless fragments.

The planet's core erupted, spewing rivers of molten fire across its ruptured crust.

The land burned, consumed by the inferno of its own creation.

The Great Sword continued its fall until nothing remained but drifting debris, fragments of a world torn apart.

A final explosion echoed through the cosmos, brighter than a nova.

Fragments of the world scattered into the endless dark.

Earth-017 has perished without a single scream.

AI floated closer, whispering softly, "Master, your Mom is terrifying."

Enatur sighed. "You're lucky you came with me."

The echo of destruction lingered within his bones—like a gong still humming long after being struck.

Ash drifted through his thoughts; pieces of continents glowed faintly as they disappeared into shadow.

He closed his eyes. The world's final sound still danced behind his eyelids.

His breath trembled—not from fear, but from awe, as his body slowly realized the end had come.

For a long moment, they stood in silence.

Only the faint hum of the void remained.

"The last tremor fades. The world below has turned into a sea of ash."

Yunia stretched her arms, then held out her hand with a gentle, firm smile.

"Let's return to the villa. We'll rest and prepare for tomorrow."

"Yes, Mom."

Their steps were slower than usual as the dimensional portal opened.

This observation ended with mixed feelings—joy, relief, and a haunting sense of dread.

It was the first time Enatur had witnessed the Great Sword annihilate an entire world.

The image of its destruction lingered in his mind long after they returned.

---

The portal reopened above their villa.

Only five minutes had passed in the Type-3 human world.

Enatur and Yunia sat together in the living room, quietly sipping tea.

Yunia opened a holographic screen.

Apocalypse of Earth-017: Confirmed.

Enatur's temperature dropped suddenly.

Something inside him stirred—not a vision, but a sensation deep in his abdomen.

At first, it felt like a flicker... then warmth... then a burning ember crawling upward beneath his ribs.

"I—" His breath caught. His knees buckled. He pressed both hands against his stomach, as if trying to hold something inside.

His body convulsed violently. A searing heat spread from his abdomen to his chest and neck.

Black veins crawled beneath his skin.

Dark liquid poured from his mouth and nose.

"ENATUR!" Yunia cried, rushing to him.

She lifted his shirt—her eyes widened in alarm. A black sigil spread across his torso.

"Urgh... Argh... Ugh!"

"Master!" the AI's voice trembled in panic.

Yunia channeled her divine energy into her hand and pressed her glowing fingertips to the mark.

The heat surged through his entire body like fire burning from the inside out.

"What is happening to him?" the AI asked.

Yunia narrowed her eyes. "It's the Soul Core Curse."

"The Soul Core?"

"It's a reincarnation ritual crafted by the Gods of Darkness."

"Hah... hah... hah!" Enatur gasped for breath.

Yunia's energy pulsed through the sigil, easing the burning pain little by little.

Her tone softened, though worry filled her voice.

"This means the Soul Core is trying to break through the divine barrier protecting his essence."

"I—I feel better now," Enatur whispered weakly.

"Master!"

Sometimes, the heat would return—not painful, but enough to remind him that something deep within was still restless.

Yunia gently placed his head on her shoulder, her fingers stroking his hair tenderly.

"So warm..."

He murmured.

Afterward, she laid him down on the bed. Sitting beside him, she held his hand with both of hers.

"I'll find an alchemist as soon as possible," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "There's only one ingredient left for the cure we need."

Her eyes quivered, holding back tears.

"Before your seventeenth birthday, I swear... I will save you from that curse."

Her words faded softly, but their weight lingered in his heart—like invisible chains binding his fate.

Seventeen years old.

Just a number... yet to him, it sounded like a sentence with an unseen end.
