Chapter 5 - Business Run (1)

Two weeks had passed since the war with Selima.

The scars on the club floor were gone — replaced by polished wood and new lights that pulsed like a living heartbeat.

The air smelled of good food, expensive perfume, and success.

Club Phoenix wasn't just surviving anymore.

It was thriving.

Crowds poured in every night. The bar was packed, laughter spilling through the door. The hostesses were booked solid, and even the local influencers had started tagging the place in their posts.

For the first time, Yujhae sat back in his office, hands behind his head, watching everything through the tinted glass.

Yujhae smirked. "Now we're talking."

---

After hours, when the last customers left and the neon lights dimmed, Yujhae stayed behind — training.

His knuckles were already rough from countless jabs. Sweat poured down his face as he shadowboxed in the empty dance floor, each movement sharper than the last.

Jab. Step. Jab. Step. Body feint. Jab again.

SYSTEM:

He exhaled slowly, lowering his fists. His punches weren't just fast anymore — they snapped like lightning, each one controlled and deadly.

"Feels good," he muttered, cracking his neck. "Real good."

Then he opened his stats window.

A surge of energy ran through him — his heartbeat steady but powerful, his body lighter, quicker.

Dojin, who had been cleaning weapons near the bar, looked up. "You're training again, boss?"

"Always," Yujhae replied. "The city doesn't sleep — and neither can I."

---

The next day, he was in the manager's office counting profits when Taejun walked in.

"Boss, we're hitting capacity every night. People are waiting outside just to get in."

Yujhae tapped the desk. "Then it's time to expand."

Taejun raised an eyebrow. "Expand?"

Yujhae leaned back, smirking. "Buy a second club."

---

They spent the next few days scouting locations — old nightclubs that had gone bankrupt, forgotten by the flashy district.

One caught Yujhae's eye immediately.

A large underground venue near the riverside — "Club Nova." Once a hotspot, now abandoned and silent.

The walls were cracked, but the structure was solid. The floor space was massive. Perfect for rebirth.

The real estate agent hesitated. "It's been closed for a year. Rumor says it's cursed — gang debts, bad luck, all that."

Yujhae smirked. "Cursed? Sounds like my kind of place."

---

Standing inside the dark, empty building, Yujhae ran his fingers along the dusty bar counter.

"This place has bones," he said quietly. "We'll rebuild it stronger than the last."

Dojin chuckled behind him. "Boss, you're seriously planning to run two clubs at once?"

Yujhae turned, that familiar fire in his eyes. "No. I'm planning to build an empire."

The others laughed, but the tone in his voice wasn't a joke.

---

Later that night, Yujhae stood between his two clubs — Phoenix glowing behind him, Nova waiting in darkness ahead.

SYSTEM:

Business Network Established — 2 Properties Under Ownership

Passive Income: ₩2,000,000 / day (estimated)

Hidden Title Gained: The Rising Broker

The wind swept across the street, carrying the faint echo of music and city life.

Yujhae clenched his fists, staring at the skyline.

"From nothing… to this," he whispered. "And I'm just getting started."

The city lights flickered — like they were listening.
