A few hours there were finally close to Sky city as it was now visible from the windows and despite the name neither Elias and his sisters thought that the Sky city was an actual floating city!,but as they looked through the windows their eyes betrayed their thoughts,"it always gets you on the first time it truly is a wonder of mana and technology and a statement of the fact that despite being set back a few years in innovation after the calamity humanity still perseveres" Aedric said as he smiled expecting this reaction from them,"but how is it possible as far as I know there is nothing that can cancel out gravity to this degree not to even think of a city of that size"Aria asked unable to hold her curiosity, "Ah that is where you are wrong we did not cancel out gravity but rather found a way to counter it two main factors elemental cores and a gravitational inversion engine,using the air core we compressed and cycled air current that keeps it upward think of it as a permanent updraft engine and using water as weight balancers to automatically prevent tilting and using fire as a constant jet propulsion added power to the updraft engines but all would fall apart without the discovery of aetherstone which is an extremely sturdy mineral but when infused with mana it becomes near weightless which we used for alot of the building and for the final piece of the puzzle one of the greatest inventions mankind has ever made the gravity inversion engine,you see gravity is a force based on mass pulling mass but when you channel mana around a rotational field you create a counter force direction,basically the engine spins mana in a donut shape which forms a counter gravitational field which makes lifting the city possible while air and fire are keeping it afloat,they work side by side reducing the burden from the elemental cores and the elemental cores reducing the burden on the engine" Aedric said with a prideful expression, "this is simply amazing I can not imagine how much time and effort went into making it" Aria said as they all marveled at the city as the view from the sky was simply breathtaking,not long after they finally landed as they got their laugages and were currently waiting outside the airport for their ride, "Tyris you will go with Aria and Celia to the house prepared for you all to live in the city on normal circumstances you were to come with me and Elias to get you sorted out but you must be around Aria and Celia at all times since they can not come with us,you do your best to protect them i will take your file and get the process for your work on the way" Aedric said as the car to take them to the house arrived while Elias and his sisters were still having their own conversation, "good luck on your interview big brother i know you will do great ", " yeah big brother will wow them we are going to be routing for you",Aria and Celia said as they hugged Elias " i know for sure I will do amazing now that you two wished me well but do not be sturbbon and listen to Tyris he is there to protect you two so you better respect him " Elias said as he patted them on their head as they responded with a nod before they waved him goodbye as they left leaving Elias and Aedric waiting for their own ride which arrived shortly as they made their way to the headquarters," so have you decided which division you wish to join " Aedric said , "decide? I thought it was not up to me ", " well in most cases but your case is special so your choice counts " Aedric said as Elias thought about it for a short while before responding " i have not really thought much about it,i was just going to accept anyone i get put in but I have been meaning to ask what division are you in" hearing this Aedric smiled before he said " was it not obvious with the description of the divisions I am in the Radiant knights division", Elias was thunderstruck not only is this man a commander he is also one of the elites of the ISA which left Elias wandering once more how much depth of a story is behind Aedric Talon,but he said nothing as his thoughts drifted to which division he would give his choice to until they finally arrived and upon arrival Elias was once again thunderstruck as he looked at the building,it was so tall and wide he could swear it had over a 100 floors and on the front of the building a giant sun and 20 planets which represented the alliance orbiting around it and coming in and out of the building were different races some looked like stone golem some looked like an aquatic race but were quite humanoid with the only difference being the blue skin,fins and the gills and even races that you would only see in fantasy books like another humanoid race with long thin ears that seemed like elves and short ones who seemed to be dwarves and even those who seemed like dragon kin,"welcome to the Solarium " Aedric said as him and Elias walked towards the entrance but Elias still took a few minutes to get himself together from the beginning of the day till now it just seemed like he was in a movie ....or novel,everything from the city to the different races he was now seeing seemed unreal but he finally got himself together as he followed behind Aedric," good day sir ..welcome back sir ...it's good to have you back sir" ,as they walked past the door a good number of people immediately recognised and saluted Aedric as he seemed to have quite a reputation as even those who did not salute him seemed to know who he was but Aedric just waved the attention away as they went straight to the receptionist desk "welcome back commander Talon what brought you back so early " the receptionist said as she also saluted Aedric, " i have an important meeting with the top heads secduled for today " Aedric in no mode to waste any more time cut to the case but the receptionist had already caught on as she took a quick glance at Elias before looking at her computer and handing Aedric a key card with his initials on it, " you are cleared to go sir floor 35" the receptionist said before stealing one last quick glance at Elias as she thought "it's not everyday you see a human heritage holder so normal " before going back to what she was doing as Aedric and Elias who was too distracted looking around to even notice the glances left for the Elevator straight to floor 35. Floor 20...25....30..34, " just be calm in there they can be very oppressive" Aedric said just as they reached floor 35 as he swiped the card on the screen of the elevator as it opened revealing a hall and straight ahead a large table with 7 people sitted behind it and one chair in the middle ," welcome Elias Dorian I am Admiral Orian Vyr the head of the Radiant knights please have a sit" the man in the middle said immediately Elias came into view who was trying to keep he's cool as he quietly sat down he could tell that everyone in this room felt as strong or stronger than Aedric," i will cut to the case mr Dorian the reason you are here is to brief you directly on the urgency of a matter you must be aware of before joining our ranks,to my right is Admirals Astrid Vael,Marvek Corvane and Cassaian Rauth they are the head of the solar ward,Sky wing and Sun veil division and to my left is Luther Cindrix,Hesper Aurin and Jorik Valenhardt the heads of the Sunfire vanguard,Ember battalion and Dawn guard of Earth branch and mr.Dorian one of them will be in charge of getting you ready to face an association which goal is not only to cause chaos but to kill heritage holders,we do not know their origin what they call themselves we only know their symbol is a dark moon they appeared 50 years ago and within that time till now we have been unable to stop them and as a result millions have died and 10 heritage holders have also been killed,we know this is alot to take in and that is why we decided to tell you,the heritage you hold is a burden that puts a bounty on your head and they will come for you but what you must decide now is if you will have the courage to face them so now I ask you Elias Dorian current holder of the heritage of the blacksmith god do you accept this risk ?, Elias hearing this immediately felt disheartened he knew that being a heritage holder meant putting himself in constant danger but now an organisation after the lives of heritage holders, how can he face such a thing,Elias thought of giving up but remembering that those people have killed millions,if he is to quite and turn his back he would have dishonored the trust gramps put in him by recommending him and what is to keep them from coming after his family,he needed power to protect them and he was not going to throw it all away without trying so right there and then Elias made a decision that till he fall he would use all he was given to protect not only he's loved ones and after making the decision Elias finally spoke "yes I will take the risk,I will become stronger and I will face them and put a stop to them", hearing that the Admirals were visibly shocked they had all expected that he would want to live everything behind rather than putting his on life on the line,to them he was just a low level blacksmith and would not have wanted to deal with this type of situation but here he was surpassing their expectations already but they immediately collected themselves as Orian nodded as he said "so be it lad I and everyone here wish you well and to reward your bravery you will be given the complete right to select a division of your choice,so mr.Dorian which would it be ?.
