Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Creation and of Gods

The Creation occurred a very long time ago somewhere in the cosmos, about 13 billion years ago, when something caused the Ball of Nothing to erupt in chaos. The Ball of Nothing held little lights inside it—lights that sometimes shone through the black, semi-transparent shell. When the lights triggered the ball from inside, the ball collapsed, and the cosmos formed. The great collapse filled the dark with light, and the lights began to escape from the broken ball as soon as they could. The lights formed gods, heavenly immortals who chose their powers based on their skills and abilities. The cosmos is always getting bigger, even now, and one emperor rules it and all of the gods. Currently, she is Ecthelir Diescuss of Death, and she is the best ruler the empire has seen in many years.

Though the cosmos had nothing at first, it began to form many things, such as stars, as the atoms collided together to form them. The atoms there worked differently than here, since they could be altered with magic, but their basic role in science was similar. The cosmos was a group of many universes gathered together, so the rules of science were a little different in each, but the basic outline was similar. Each world worked as a duplicate of the others, and they had no knowledge of one another.

When the ball split apart and the gods formed from it, they looked at their new bodies and began to go to different parts of the cosmos to build themselves a good home. One of them was called Nur Senduil, and he was a very important character in the Galieldhe.

When Nur first came to the world, he was mesmerized by the spectacle and wonder of the cosmos. "If only I could improve it a bit and make the world brighter," he thought as he walked through the galaxies. To make his dream come true, Nur began to concentrate all his attention on magic, and soon he became the most powerful god of his time. Though Nur Senduil did not realize it at that time, this was only the beginning of the War for the Throne—the great event that resulted in countless deaths and victories.

Nur and his wife, Rur, were peaceful people who did not like to fight, and though they knew very well what it was like to be in power, they did not prefer to pursue it by force. As Nur ascended through the ranks without realizing it himself, the Senduils befriended the Septeris and Luins, both powerful families that possessed military and magical strength. The Septeris aided Nur by giving him some of their forces for power, and the Luins offered strategy for survival. As Nur Senduil grew, so did his allies, and it looked as if all was well.

The gods at that time had finally realized that they needed a person who could unite them, and naturally, the idea came to the strongest person there was. When Rur heard of this, she spoke to El Celys the Wise, her good friend and another of Nur's wives.

Gods tended to have free relationships with each other, and the idea of marriage did not appeal to many of them. The number of partners tended to increase as a god became older, and there was no jealousy among them, as they knew how they lived—and if one was younger than the other, how long one would live. Since Nur was older, he had two relationships, but his wives were younger, both belonging to Nur.

"Don't you think that Nur is fit for the seat of the emperor?" asked Rur. "He has, after all, power and heart. I cannot dare distrust that fact, El." As Rur tried to persuade El, El only nodded in response. El knew that the throne was not an accessory, and she told Rur that. "But my friend Rur, a throne brings responsibility, and that is not to be overlooked. Do you think Senduil can do that?" But they both knew that Nur's generous and responsible personality would naturally make him king, and through a conversation with Yue Elierigh Septeri of the Son Septeris and Kethline of the Baek Luins, Nur's wives slowly began pushing their husband toward the throne.

Nur Senduil, who never paid much attention to public interest, was therefore incredibly surprised when his name became one of the hottest discussions. Soon, other gods began to support him—mostly those he had never even heard of. Finally consenting, Nur Senduil became the first emperor of the cosmos.

His coronation was grand, as the books recorded it, with stars lighting the path to the imperial palace, the Pleiades Cluster. After the ceremony, a great feast was held with all of the gods, hosted by Rur Senduil and El Celys. The event was so famous for its size and grandeur that only Her Majesty Ecthelir's coronation was greater than this.

Of Names

In the world of heaven, Nur Senduil was not only known as Nur of the Senduils but also as Yu Seul. Yu Seul was his other name, used to show appreciation and formality. Rur Senduil was Lim Ja Hye, and El Celys was Wuan Eun Eui. Elierigh Septeri was otherwise known as Son Ye Su, and Kethline Luin as Baek Hei Won. It is recommended that the reader remember this for a better understanding of the text.
