From the shadows of the corridor, five goblins emerged snarling, snarling in language Henry couldn't comprehend except it was translated by his system. Their wooden maces glinted dully in their small but calloused hands. One by one, their beady eyes landed on the body of their fallen kin then shifted to Henry.
He was already aiming.
"Tskkkk!" they shrieked and charged.
"I have no choice," Henry whispered, and let go.
*Whew!*
The lead goblin's head snapped back. It dropped instantly, limbs twitching.

The second goblin lunged and Henry sprang aside just in time. The mace missed by inches, but the gust it left behind chilled his skin. His heart pounded against his ribs with his eyes widened. "i almost lost my breath"
Three goblins advanced in a frenzy, their weapons slicing through the air. Henry barely dodge their brutal swings.
Then another goblin appeared.
"Seriously?" he groaned. "Five again".
One goblin shrieked and struck.
*THWACK!*
Henry blocked on instinct, but the attack sent him backward.
He crashed into the wall, stone slammed his shoulder.
[-5 HP]
[HP:10]
"Huff" Henry gasped, the wind left his lungs. The goblin charged again, snout pulled back in a vicious grin.
Henry was shocked after seeing the HP notification.
"Damm! the damage of a mace isn't a joke"
The Golbin was still five meters away from him, his short limbs didn't make him a fast runner.
Henry reached into his pouch, pulled a stone and waited.
The goblin saw him still, mistaking stillness for surrender. Its lips curled into a smirk as it's raised its mace.
"Fool" Henry whispered as he rolled left.
The weapon smashed into stone where his head had been, dust burst upward.
"Good bye" Henry whispered.
*Thwip*
The goblin's skull split open. It slumped forward, twitching once before falling still.

The remaining four goblins stormed down the corridor, their feet pounding loudly.
Henry raised his sling and fired.
"Shit," he hissed as he missed. "Not an expert yet."
Taking another rock from his pouch, he took a deep breath and aimed.
"Time to die, I pray my target works" Henry whispered and let go of the rubber band.
*Whew"
The rock snapped again the nearest goblin's head and it's fell to the ground dead.

"Three left, let's continue with the run and aim strategy" Henry ran.
The corridor twisted and narrowed. He didn't stop until the sounds behind him thinned. Then he turned and waited.
One goblin appeared.
*Thwip*
The rock struck its chest. The creature stumbled back and just then another rock pierced through it's throat.

"Yess!" Henry hissed.
"Hmmm, this seems to have a high rate of damage" Henry whispered as he spotted the mace of the fallen Golbin and scooped it up
It felt awkward, too heavy, poorly balanced but maybe it'd help.
The next goblin arrived, swinging. Henry met it with a wild overhead strike.
*THUNK!*
[-1 HP]
"What? That's all?"
He stared, stunned. The goblin barely flinched.
[Warning: Low Weapon Affinity. Mace damage reduced – Class: Shooter]
"Figures," Henry muttered, dropping it. "Definitely not my thing."
He reached for his sling.
The goblin growled, joined by two more, hatred gleamed in their eyes.
Henry dodged the first attack but the second cracked into him.
*CRACK!*
He hit the ground, skidding, fingers barely kept hold of his weapon.
[-3 HP]
"I'm not dying here," Henry hissed. He shoved a rock into the sling, turned, and fired from the ground.
*Whew*
The rock struck true, straight through the chest of the nearest attacker, It's stumbled back a little.
"Still alive" Henry whispered then released another rock at the golbin that just stumbled

"Two left"
Henry rose on shaking legs. Another rock in hand.
He aimed but a taught came to his mind and he paused.
The second goblin was running just behind the first. A perfect line.
"Let's see if this works…"
He reached into his pouch and loaded two stones.
