"Are you being serious right now?" Tori's voice vibrated from the speaker.
"Yes, I am..."
A sharp sigh followed, and a pause, a long one. I have just told her everything that has happened, leaving nothing out.
"Tori?"
"You're really gonna do this, huh? Really?"
"Yes."
I have never been so sure and confident about something.
"It's gonna be that circus all over again," she stated.
My eyes moved when Ares walked into the lounge, fixing his cufflinks. God... I never realized how much I missed seeing him in a three-piece tailored suit until now.
He was too damn sexy. How the expensive fabric was mouthwatering sheathed around him should be a crime against nature, because no other man can look that good.
"No..." I replied to Tori. "It's gonna be different."
"I hope so... because I don't wanna lose my best friend again. I don't think I can handle that."
