Chapter 6 - Sixth Likeness – Almost and You Don’t Know

In this world, only humans with three adjectives survive: Libertarians, Cretins, and Sarcastics. None may possess more than one… only one defines your essence.

In the sectors, people coexisted amidst capitalism disguised as harmony, ignoring the cruel truth of their existence, living lives prepared for death, struggling endlessly, only to die in the end.

In the Steampunk era, the story of three souls… The Sarcastic Boy and the Libertarian Girl shared a "friendship" hard to define. He saw her as a sister, though an unknown feeling made him protective and vulnerable. She, pure in essence, lived freely, unaware of time and the games of the heart.

The Cretin Boy watched in silence, envying every word and glance. Patient, he waited, planning to approach the Libertarian Girl, believing himself "the most handsome in the world," while his mere presence repulsed the Sarcastic.

The Libertarian, with her natural kindness and brilliant intelligence, accepted his conversation. The Sarcastic, with silent jealousy and fear of her corruption, felt that each encounter could cost him, that her essence might be irreparably tainted.

The Sarcastic knew he had no right to stop the Cretin, no power to impose his will on another's freedom, though the internal struggle consumed him. His jealousy was electrical impulses, trivial human emotions devouring him senselessly.

In the end, in the Steampunk world, the only solution seemed to be the elimination of the repugnant and hypocritical essence, separating the Cretin from the Libertarian… while the Libertarian Girl continued flying free, oblivious to the tragedy surrounding her.
