"Umm… Minerva, this guy seems like he has a good life. are you sure about this" Jason asked as he saw Silva's present. "The guy seemed to be doing good. Even with his difficulty in expressing himself"
[Processing…Silva is currently in a dimension where a strict form of fate laws works. His destiny is to die while saving a child from a burning building within a few weeks. After he saves the child, the child decides to spend her life in the service of humanity for the sacrifice he did for her. In the future, she will lead to a world peace that will not require wars or violence leading to a peaceful world for three hundred years. After which the intergalactic war will destroy the civilization within five hundred years. But even then, her era was described as the most stable time period of human civilization]
"Wow, so do we wait for him to die before we yank him here with a truck" Jason asked.
[No master, if he follows fate like it is supposed to, his soul will reincarnate into something else due to the laws present in that world. The only chance you have is to change the fate by a little bit. Instead of fire, he will die a few days earlier while saving the same child. This way you are interfering with his death therefore will be able to siphon his soul without breaking any laws that govern him]
"Why are you so fixated in laws right now, this has never happened before" Jason asked curious seeing the way Minerva was making it complicated.
[This is an older dimension master] Minerva replied.
"Older…..shit. Got it lets quickly do what we have to do and get out. Lets make the truck and ram it onto him to do his destined save and get out before that guy comes along" Jason began to rapidly sent out his power to Minerva to manifest the truck and create the required circumstance. He knew staying longer will be disrespectful to gods ordinarily. But even more problematic, this particular older god might use it as an excuse to contact him.
"I don't want to go through that again" He muttered as he channelled more power into the summoning.
Silva POV.
'Need to thank them later. Should I buy food or something for them. Will it be awkward, or maybe I need to do more' as he was thinking this, he saw something in the corner of his eye.
A truck was coming down the road, but what made him freeze was the child wearing headphones slowly crossing the road at the same time. He wanted to shout out to move. But he didn't see anyone nearby. And the way the truck was coming, there was no time to warn anyone or the child who was listening to the music.
Without even completely finishing his thought, his legs had already started running. Even though he realised what he was about to do, he did not stop, he ran even more harder as he can. As he reached the child, he did not stop. He picked her up while still running and pushed her out of the truck's path. But he was unlucky enough that half of his body was still in the truck's way. Silva felt the truck hit his body as he let go of the girl so that she was pushed out safely. The force took out everything from his lungs, and he flew and crashed into a streetlight pole, creating crunching sounds all around his body.
For a moment, Silva did not understand, he was not feeling even a little bit of pain and he was able to think really quickly at the moment right now. He knew what this meant, his injuries were so serious that his body had shut down the pain, and he was in an adrenaline high at the moment. He didn't waste any time, even knowing that he will only have chances in surviving if he stayed down and not move an inch, he summoned strength from somewhere and began running towards the girl he had pushed away.
The girl was wide eyed with shock with what had happened. As she took in everything that just happened, suddenly a bloodied person came running towards her.
"Hey kid, are you alright?" Silva gently asked the girl knowing that the girl might be extremely scared at this moment.
The girl froze in shock as she took in how the person looked so much bloodied with wounds. It almost seemed like there was no part left in his body where there was blood not seeping out right now.
"You…..you're hurt" the girl finally sobbed out as she realised what happened.
"Hey…. hey now…..kid, it was an honest mistake alright" he then gently payed her head. "Just be more careful alright. And its not your fault. Remember that okay"
After saying all of that, he fell down, while the last wisp of life separated from him completely. To be taken away by a god who fastened his death for his own convenience.
"Hey, I'm not that bad alright. This time instead of you dying painfully to inspire another, I made sure you died painlessly and made sure that you can be reborn in another world with a new chance at life with your full memory intact" Jason complained as Minerva narrated the entire stuff to Silva who was standing in front of them.
"Oh, well that alright" Silva replied calmly to them.
For a moment there was silence. Minerva and Jason kept on watching him for a few more minutes.
"Damn, he's too calm, though his monologing in his head is similar to how Deku talks in My hero academia. And don't worry kid, we know you mean what you said" Jason finally said seeing the silence being stretched too long.
Silva slightly flinched at that. he then remembered he was facing God. not any small lettered gods in stories that had enemies or people that can kill them but a true capital letter GOD with no one above him and no limitations. Atleast when he completes his universe.
"What happens to all my friends?" Silva asked as he knew they helped him a lot in the last few weeks.
"Well, after your death, the police will be unable to find the traces of how the truck appeared there as it never existed in your world. But your friends won't stop investigating. So, I'll make sure that they obtain this image" Jason said as he showed Silva an image.
The image had a truck about to hit Silva trying to push out the little girl. But the angle in which the photo was taken, allowed to see what was written in the side which made Silva a little bit dumbfounded.
The side read.
