While Reggie was in his lab, he was working on a new device he had just created for himself, this device was similar to a neck choker. As Reggie was working on it, he looked at it with a satisfied smirk "Hm, almost done. All I need is to just fix the button properly, and I'm done.", Reggie sat back on his cheer and took a deep sigh. He started to talk to himself "As I am, I still find it difficult to control the level of power I have. Even from a young age, I've always found it difficult to keep my powers in check, especially when I'm in heightened situations.", he kept quiet for a moment before talking to himself "When I fought that Drive Knight a few months ago, I had no other choice but to go all out.". Reggie continued "Normally, when a person fights, they have a certain level of power and speed they can build up in order to win said fights, all that depends on the rank they are in. But in some cases, people end up achieving a level of speed that they shouldn't reach at their current rank, or just get stronger in total. But here's the thing. When I get stronger or use a said level of power, my mind starts to lose it.". Reggie started to tap his fingers "Right now, I'm A-rank, which means I have enough power to wipe out an entire nation at least. But in terms of speed, some A-ranks can move at the speed of light, some can move four or 5 times that speed, while some can only react at such speeds without moving at it. That also applies to me.", he looked at the chocker he was making "This chocker is to contain the level of power I don't want to use while I use the level of energy I want to use at the moment. If I go higher than my base, the level of power I can build up would spike significantly, this would enable me to move a few hundred times my previous speeds or even faster. And as for my destructive power? It's going to spike too. That's why I built this thing In order for me to pick the power level I need without losing my mind, or atleast so that i dont unknowingly go full power without realising it.". Reggie sighed "But I'm not entirely sure it would work for so long.", he started to remember how his body slowly started to turn into that of a robot as he laughed while fighting the Drive Knight Hydron "Mahn, that was a rough fight. I started to lose my sense of thinking and only focused more on destroying things around me.", Reggie also remembered when he deflected the blast from the Knight Country's energy missle that was shot at the city of pillars, a smirk curled up on his face "Hm, that missle had enough power to wipe out entire star systems with ease, and that was only twenty percent of its power that was generated from the star it was taken from. Just where the hell did that bastard Fragmell get all that power from?". At the training grounds, Baroka and Rem where having a sparring match with the weapons Reggie had built for them. The terrain around them blow to pieces as Baroka was slamming his sword at Rem who was dodging, causing Baroka's strikes to hit the ground and cause debries to fly all over the place. As Rem kept dodging at high speeds, she jumed straight into the air and said "Alright [SUN BEAM], let's go.", the mechanical arm Reggie had given her started to charge up plasma for an attack. Baroka noticed Rem was preparing a blast for him "Shit!", he sneered. The blast she was preparing shot at him with devastating speed and intense heat. Almost hitting him, Baroka dodged the attack that caused a massive explosion of energy that took out a part of the training ground they were sparring at. Baroka was in shock "SHIIIT! That was crazy.", Rem teased "There's alot where that came from.", and started shooting more of her plasma beams at Baroka. Baroka started to run and dodge for his life while beams after beams rained down at him "Damn it, Rem calm down!", he sneered. Rem landed to the ground "No!", she said with a smirk before firing another beam at him. Laria who was training Sughi, felt the shock of the blast, although she wasn't far away from Baroka and Rem's training spot. She turned back "Looks like they're having fun. With Yuki and Gwen gone, I'm only allowed to focus on Marallda, that and the fact that I have a better chance of training you.". She was referring to Sughi who was shooting beams at drones, the drones dodged around and avoided all the beams the kid was shooting at them. Sughi felt annoyed "Tch! Why do I miss all the time?", he asked himself. Laria scolded "Focus!", Sughi looked behind and noticed one of the drones coming from behind. The boy smirked and turned his arm into a mechanical sword in which he proceeded to throw a slash at the drone. The slash was powerful enough to not only take out the drones, but wipe out a few tree's in the process. Sughi turned to Laria, excited "Hey! Mom, did you see that? I totally obliterated it!", the other drones came rushing down at him at full speed. Laria cautioned "Remember, I said practice shooting them, not slashing them.", Sughi laughed "Yes ma'm.", he turned his arms into robotic cannons and shot powerful beams at the drones flying down at him [BOOM], the explosion from his beam wiped out a few trees and rocked the place. Laria praised her son "Good. Now that you've gotten better at shooting, I'll use the whole of tomorrow and next week to teach you hand to hand combat. Sounds good?", Sughi exclaimed with excitement "YAY!". Meanwhile at the training grounds, Baroka and Rem were extremely tired "HA! HA!", they both panted. Baroka looked at her, clearly drained "Rem..... for fuck's sake. You could have killed me!", Rem smiled, she was very tired "My bad. I'm still trying to get used to [SUN BEAM], so I'm sorry If my output is a bit to high.", Baroka replied "Whatever, I'm sorry my sword strikes were chaotic, I can't control how strong it is yet.". Rem teased "Well look who's the mature one.", Baroka smirked "Please, dont act rythorical to me!". Kito was on his bed playing video games when he wondered to himself "I wonder how Rem and Baroka are doing.".
