While everyone was taking a rest from their missions, Monoma, Kairo, Fred, Roy and Zeraph where in the forest on a mission, they were killing lion beasts that had appeared. Monoma was just zooming at incredible speeds while dodging the sharp claws and strikes of the huge lion beast that was chasing after him, he wasn't just dodging and doing backflips, he was also shooting beams at the beast as well. The lion beast was just letting out powerful roars as it went on a rampage, it destroyed tree's with brute strengh, sliced the ground with every claw strike and sent huge sound waves with it's roar. Monoma on the other hand had landed on a tree in order to fully avoid the lion beasts rampage, he thought to himself "Tch! These things are no joke. One of its claws can kill me if im not careful, which means I've gotta keep my distance and be careful.", the lion beast spotted Monoma and immediately jumped after him with it's claws. Monoma immediately jumped out of the way to avoid the beasts giant claws, he started to zoom around and perform flips from ground to tree while he shot beams from his guns at rapid fire. Each beam he shot was causing devastating amounts of explosions, the lion beast ran through the beams, dodged them and even parried some of then with strikes of its claws. One of its strikes was powerful enough to take down a large number of trees in mere seconds, it let's out a loud roar that was powerful enough to send out a shockwave that sent the boy flying through trees, the roar itself was strong enough to obliterate trees like they were nothing. Splinters where flying all over the place, pieces of wood were shattering accross the air, rocks were being destroyed and broken apart. Monoma had grabbed unto a tree for stability "Shit! This thing is harder to deal with than I thought.", he thought to himself. As the giant beast charged at Monoma at full speed, Monoma cranked up the power of his gun, this caused a powerful amount of energy to shoot out of his gun and then blast one of the lion beasts legs off in a powerful explosion. The lion beast screamed in pain as one of its limbs got separated from the rest of its body with a simple burst of power, Monoma proceeded to get his balance on a tree branch. He pointed two of his fingers from his right hand upwards "Now you die!", he said with his hands glowing with energy. A huge wall of blue energy surrounded the injured lion beast like a cage "Burn!", Monoma commanded with his hand stretched out. Before he knew it, the cage bursted with a tramendous amount of power, it was obliterating the lion beast into nothing but burnt flesh. The lion beast screamed in pain as it's flesh was being burned, the cage suddenly exploded, the explosion of blue energy took out a portion of the forest around it. After the smoke cleared away, Monoma was standing, hands in his pockets as he looked at what was left of the lion beast. What remained of the corpse of the monster he fought was just a skeleton with just a few chunks of burnt flesh attached to its burnt black body. Monoma muttered as he walked to the beast "That wasn't so hard. All I just needed was enough power to obliterate it, and that was all.", Monoma with his bare hands tore off one of its bones "I should be able to use this as proof of killing it. Either that or I can just make new bullets out em.". He walked off "Kairo and the rest should also be done by now.". Meanwhile, Kairo and Zeraph had already killed two lion beast, one was cut into pieces by Kairo with the help of his short sword, and one was impailed by giant set of spikes, this was Zeraph's doing. Kairo looked at Zeraph's kill "You sure've gone soft. Normally you would have turned whatever's your opponent into pieces by now.", Kairo said to Zeraph. Zeraph replied rather nonchalantly "Whatever, the job's to kill the beasts. Right? Mission complete.", Kairo teased again "Nah, you've really gone soft!". Elsewhere at the forest, a huge explosion of flames occurred, trees where turned to ashes in mere seconds, about three lion beasts where roaring in pain as they where consumed by flames, this was Roy's doing. Roy had a casual smirk on his face as he burned the beasts "FRED!", he called out, Fred had leapt into the air. He had huge traps set up in the sky "IVE GOT YOU!" Fred exclaimed before flying down to the ground with his traps crushing, tearing apart and ultimately killing the lion beasts. Blood spewed all over the air as the lion beasts screamed in agony till they died. Roy whisled with amusement "FWEEEHW....!", body parts of the beasts where scattered all across the burnt forest around them "That was brutal.", he said. Fred walked all the way to Roy, they both gave each other a high five "Nice work!", Roy commended his friend. Fred responded "Yeah, you too.". Suddenly, Monoma, Kairo and Zeraph walked out from the bushes and saw the burnt forest around them "What the fuck happened here?", Kairo asked. Roy and Fred spotted them "Yo, you guys.", Fred waved. Kairo and Monoma waved back, their expressions the same, both Fred and Roy walked all the way to them "Looks like you both did all right.", Fred said. Monoma then asked "I assume you both are the one's who killed the lion beasts here.", Roy pointed his thumbs backward "Yep, burnt them and cut em up.", he said. Fred stretched for a bit before he then said "Ahhh! All I need now is to just go back home and take a drink.", Roy just smiled "I just can't wait to get paid.". Monoma sighed "Alright, let's go then.", the group of friends proceeded to take a walk out of the forest. As they all walked together, Zeraph had some thoughts in his head "Fred Armstrong and Roy Blaze. They both are one of the top young assassins and soliders of the city of Kagahara. Both of them are also extremely brutal in fights. Especially that Roy, he's a cheat and low-key bullies others just for the fun of it. I can't say I dislike him coz I'm also like that. But whatever, it is what it is.".
