The mother, who used to get cheerful by seeing my face, started to curse me and started wishing for my death, and Father's attitude also started to get more frustrating, as he started to get frustrated by Mom's every taunt, and soon he started to hit her, and I had to always intervene in their fight to stop it, as the little quarrels turned into more like war events where both of them were looking more like bloodthirsty beasts than people. So just like this, every moment in the home was feeling more like hell; the sounds of taunts and curses started to engulf me also, but soon the day of selling the crops came, which surely was a pretty happy event for our house, as due to being a poor family, we only treated the harvesting day as a festival because on this day, Father and I used to leave for town to sell the crops. So I was pretty happy, and Father and Mother were also looking pretty cheerful, and everything was looking more like a dream. At the moment we were about to leave for the town, Father spoke to me: "Son, this time, you will be selling the crops yourself, so make sure that you get a fair price and be cautious. I was hoping that how I was leaving them, I could see them like this, so after a few hours and a day later on, I reached the town. Due to the instructions of my father, I reached the place and started selling the crops to dealers. To my surprise, I sold it at 3 times the original price that my father told me, so it was more like a treasure to me, so I rushed my way back to my home and hoped that I would be able to enjoy the fortune with my parents, but fate was surely quite different than I imagined. The moment I returned home, the door was open. Seeing the door open, I entered the home and saw that my father was hanging on a rope and my mother was lying on the ground in blood while beasts were feeding on their bodies. Seeing the beasts tearing their bodies from limb to limb and seeing the weapons by the side of Father and Mother, I became sure of the reason why everything ended this way. It was all because of a fight. They again started fighting, and due to their natures, Father must have killed her, and Mom also had that sickle-like thing in her hands, so she was also trying to kill Father. So after killing her, the father must have been caught by the hands of grief, and then he must have taken his life also. So seeing that in just a mere 2 days I was turned into an orphan and was left with nothing but my strange fate. So after sobbing for the entire night and day, I buried their remains in the ground and heard some people talking in the nearby house that my house was cursed and due to some spirit, the house ended up in this state. Even my own house started to terrify me, as I had heard the people talking about rumors related to spirits before, but to think that very same rumor destroyed my entire life. So sleeping at night or even staying in the house started to give me hallucinations, and a strange kind of terror started to engulf me. Even the walls started to feel as if they had eyes and faces, which were just staring at me and waiting for me to just kill myself. Seeing the walls started to frighten me, and soon after getting fed up with everything, I thought of burning the entire house, and to do it, I arranged oil and started to spill it on the house, and the moment I was about to burn it, the wooden piece refused to create flames, and I was standing there like a clown trying to light the wooden stick, but still nothing burned, but the moment I entered the house, I felt that the entire floor was burning hot!
