"Stay here for now, I'll go outside for a while," I said. We won't be leaving here immediately after buying the equipment, as I still have many things to do outside, like meeting the pirates who just arrived now and probably have fun fighting them, or will I? I'm also interested in seeing how Buggy will be splitting once I slash him in half, as seeing it in real life is a different experience. Putting all the items on the bed except the cursed sword, I approached Nojiko and kissed her. "Don't hesitate to use the weapons we brought if there's an intruder, all right? I don't want to suddenly lose you."
"Jeez, you're suddenly too sweet. But I will do that. Just be careful outside, okay?" She replied, smiling like usual. I guess she came to terms with the fact that there's a chance that I will bring another woman once I come back in just one day. Though I myself am quite unsure if I wanna take Alvida too since her personality is quite unlikable, but the slip fruit she ate has many potential for lewd uses. Just thinking about it gave me goosebumps.
There's also Tashigi, which I really want to take as well, but she will likely fight back when she learns that I'm a pirate, unofficial but a pirate still. She just seems like the type of girl I like, upright and serious, but cute. Still, I want to try and see if there's a chance that she can join me.
"I will take a bath first," Nami spoke, going to the bathroom, but then she suddenly popped out again. "Hey, bring us something before you come back." She demanded, making me question if I should be rough to tame her once we have sex.
"I will see what I can get, but I can't promise anything," I responded before leaving the room. I will be going to a fight, which I will likely start, so I might forget about her request after that. Taking out the new cigarette I bought and putting it on my mouth, I lit it up, smoked, and puffed it. "Not bad," I commented. It really is decent and new, and as someone who always smokes, my pride is hurt that I can't tell what this is made of. Not only was it releasing too much smoke, it seemed to be slow on getting turned into ash as well. Just what I'm expecting in a world filled with serious people?
I soon arrived outside the hotel and started walking towards the main plaza where Roger's execution stand remained, it's also where Luffy was almost executed by Buggy. Unsurprisingly, when I reached the plaza, it was very crowded, similar to the market area. People here seemed to be treating this as a tourist attraction, especially the pirates acting like civilians here.
As I was observing the place, I suddenly caught a shadow figure on a rooftop, its robe being swayed by a strong wind. My eyes widened as my brain instantly connected the dots as to who that figure was. "Dragon," I muttered his name, smiling directly at him. He was looking at me with a frown before deciding to turn around and leave. As to why he was here, I don't know. But it probably has to do with me delaying his son's adventure or something. I don't really care if he's mad or not.
Seeing that he doesn't have any plans with me, I decided to focus on my initial goal in coming here. There were already pirates in the crowd from the Buggy crew, wearing circus clothes and looking around everywhere. I guess they're looking for Luffy. I slapped my hand at the back of the neck of one of them and grabbed it. "Ahhkkk!?" He screamed in surprise.
"Hey, where's Buggy?" I inquire.
"Lord Buggy? What do you need from him?" He responded, trying to get my hand off his neck. He is looking at me in horror as I increasingly put pressure on him every second. "And who the hell are you?! Let go of me! Everyone, help me!"
I sighed. Looks like I have to do this the hard way. I let go of his neck, then unsheathed my cursed katana. In one swift slash, his neck is separated from his head and blood splatters everywhere. It didn't take long before a woman screamed. "He killed somebody!" A moment later, everyone started running away from me, except some police and everyone in the Buggy crew. I'm now surrounded from every side, and dark clouds suddenly appeared above, blocking most of the light from hitting below. This is the perfect atmosphere for a massacre.
"Who the heck are you to do this to one of my, the great Buggy the Clown's, subordinates?" Buggy screamed, looking horrified by his headless member. Alvida was also beside him, still covering her body with a thick robe, frowning at me.
"Me?" I slashed off the blood from my blade. "I'm just someone who's trying to make a name for himself," I said, smiling widely with my eyes wide open. I definitely looked crazy, but I can't blame myself. This is fun, and I won't have to go to jail if I manage to get away from here.
"Shoot him!" Buggy commanded, and everyone of his crew holding a flintlock gun open fired at me. All the bullets didn't do anything to my body, but my clothes exploded every time I was hit. My eyes narrowed seeing that, and I immediately dashed off towards the closest to me.
I slashed diagonally, splitting two pirates in half. Then I ran forward and started slashing left and right, splitting everyone I managed to hit. Limbs drop everywhere and soon, everyone realizes that I'm some sort of monster and starts running away. For the police, I just kicked them in the guts whenever they blocked my way since they didn't really attack me and just asked for my surrender. Soon, the Plaza was littered with bodies everywhere, and before anyone realized, Buggy, Alvida, and the executives of his crew were the only ones here.
Buggy was hiding behind Alvida, terrified and trembling. "W-what the hell are you?!" He asked, pointing at me. I'm honestly surprised that he was still here and just watched as I killed all his crew without running away. Did he really think that I can't kill him just because I'm using a sword? Well, he's going to terribly regret not running away now.
"Let's fight," I demanded, sheathing my sword and opening my arms to intimidate them. Even so, after removing my sword, everyone is still refusing to come forward. My eyes narrowed sharply as I waited. "If you don't come forward, then I will."
"Wait! Tell me why are you targeting me?! My bounty is not that high!" Buggy questioned.
Instantly, I felt like the joy I felt before suddenly vanished. It is just like paying to win in games where you will suddenly feel bored in the middle of a game since you became too strong for everyone. Buggy seems to be like a low-level monster now, and he's even making himself ridiculously weak in front of my eyes by being a coward. "Alright, just hand me one of your crew members and I promise not to kill you."
"Really? Who is it?!" Buggy's excitement and willingness seemed to scare the living daylights out of the person with green hair covering one of his eyes.
"You'll really agree to him, captain?" He asked. I found it really stupid that they only saw how cowardly their captain was just now. Well, I'm not surprised since he was a character meant to make the plot have a comedy vibe to it.
"Listen, we need some sacrifice to be made for our journey…" Buggy tapped his shoulder in pity. Though they're really mistaken as to who I'm planning on taking.
"Give me Alvida." I gestured with my hand to Alvida. Now I remember that she and Buggy were just in alliance and she was not part of his crew. It's just part of my little tricks.
"Wait, I'm not part of-" Alvida was quickly cut off as Buggy kicked her on the back, but she managed to stay off-balance using her devil fruit powers and slid off… towards me. Standing in front of me, she gulped. "I-I'm not part of them," She said before glaring at her back.
I took that opportunity to grab her hand, to which she immediately reacted and pulled back. However, I didn't back down and approached closer. "Relax, I won't hurt you." I grabbed her hand again, and this time, she let me do it with confusion visible on her face. I slowly brought my face to her hand and kissed the back of it. "You liked strong men, right?"
"Y-yes?" She answered.
With a sudden pull, Alvida's lips and mine clashed. "Mhm?!" Her eyes widened at the sudden move, but she wasn't doing anything to stop it, or that she knew she can't do anything.
I pulled away from the kiss and looked at her with my best smile. "What do you think about joining my crew?"
"Your crew?" She hesitated for a moment to speak about something, though she managed to say it after some thinking. "I know I'm strong and beautiful, but I'm looking for someone to get revenge for my humiliation."
"Don't you think you have a better chance of getting your revenge when you're with me?" I'm telling the truth. Buggy doesn't have any chances of killing Luffy at all, not only was he extremely weak due to his devil fruit, Luffy's plot armor is just insanely strong, and my theory is that it's still applied here. She is better off with me where we can use each other for great reasons.
Huh. The plaza suddenly became foggy and smelled like smoke. I instantly knew who was the person behind this, and as I was about to turn around, I felt something trying to grip around me before I was quickly thrown to the side. I hit a building and passed through it easily, before stopping on the wall of the next one. "It took him too long…" That guy. Smoker. He won't be able to work as a Marine after I'm done with him.
I jumped away from the rubble and came out of the hole my body made. Entering the place again, I unsheathed my cursed sword and rushed to the center where the Smoker was visibly standing, looking at me with disdain. "You caused too many deaths here," he remarked. I'm guessing that he was thinking that I also killed civilians. I didn't bother correcting him since the more evil they make me to be, the better bounty I will get.
Smoker held his black jitte and dashed towards me. I swung my weapon towards him and he met me head on. I simply smirked seeing the surprised expression on his face as he jumped back. He must have thought that he was stronger than me, but too bad for him, he should've used his devil fruit and not let me get close.
I stab forward, aiming for the shoulder. Smoker moved aside to evade and swung his jitte towards my face, however I didn't evade, I opened my mouth and bit into it strong enough to grip but not destroy it. Then I slashed my blade to his shoulder, which made him jump away. "I got another weapon for my wives," I said, holding the jitte and observing it. If I remember correctly, this baton-like weapon has a seastone on it which Smoker uses to suppress devil fruit users. Good weapon.
Smoker didn't seem to like that. "White Blow!" He punched towards me from far away, his arm magically turned into smoke except his fist, extending his reach. I also stretched my arm back and met his punch as well, but upon contact, his hand exploded into a mist, blocking my view. I almost forgot, he was a Logia fruit user…
Then, countless smoke balls started flying in and hit me all over my body. I just stood there and waited until the fog of smoke dissipated. Soon, that happened, and I can finally see the Smoker figure, or half of his figure as he was floating by turning his lower body into smoke. "Let's fight fairly, Smoker," I demanded. I'm starting to find this annoying, and I might go ahead and kill him if he continues this.
"Who are you and why are you causing chaos in this town?" He questioned, not giving my request a thought. It looks like he knows that he's unlikely to be able to defeat me, seeing that I don't even have a scratch despite everyone attacking, and decided to do this in a peaceful way. Peaceful? I haven't managed to even hit him once, and that extremely bothers me. It looks like he was running out of energy, anyways, as he was slowly descending.
"I honestly would've left with my new wife before you suddenly came in and started attacking me," I explained, sheathing my sword back and using the jitte instead. "You are to blame yourself for trying to be a hero," I said before dashing forward, creating a small crater at my former position. Smoker didn't expect me to be this fast, which left him unguarded, and I took that opportunity to stab the tip of the jitte to his stomach.
"Keuk!" He immediately jumped away in pain, covering the hole on his stomach. Seastone is really effective from what it looks like. I immediately made a goal of acquiring more weapons made of seastone in the future.
I didn't let Smoker go just yet and ran towards him again, getting close within half a second and stabbing his left shoulder mid-air. Then I removed it and quickly stabbed his arm multiple times. "Ahhh! You little!" He punched me in the face, but just like others, his fist simply didn't do anything.
And since the seastone is still stuck on him, his Logia ability won't be able to activate anymore, and I took that chance to give him an uppercut which made him fly up. Many of his teeth were blown away as his mouth uncontrollably released blood. And Smoker just laid there, finally unconscious and probably has some brain damage if his body is not as strong as I thought.
"I guess this is enough." As I've said to myself, I don't plan on killing major characters who have connections on the Grand Line yet when I'm still weak. Though… where the heck are all the other marines? Where is Tashigi? At that moment, I heard many clunking sounds behind me. I turned around. "Oh, there you are," I said playfully, seeing Tashigi standing far away from me with hundreds of marines holding revolvers behind her, all of them pointed at me.
"Surrender now, or you will be executed on the spot!" She said, and I could tell that she is unsure about ordering my death at all. However, her weak will was overwhelmed seeing Smoker lying on the ground with blood on many parts of his body.
And now that I think about it, where is Alvida? I looked around trying to find her, but it seemed that she really ran away with Buggy while I was busy. I'm a little disappointed, but I should have expected that.
"Drop your weapons if you want to live, or face death like everyone around me." My voice is audible, although I didn't shout. I'm not really in the mood to make easy work of these marines, and they haven't attacked me yet, so I'm willing to let them go just this time.
I can see immediately that all of them, including Tashigi, are hesitating after I said that. One marine dropped his weapon on the floor and quickly after, many followed. Tashigi just gritted her teeth before she made a decision. "We'll let you go this time!"
He called me his wife! Alvida's face burns hot thinking about it. This is the first time she heard someone say it sincerely, and she knew it's likely because she was more pretty now, but still… he was strong, muscular, and last but not least, really handsome. He's the guy she's dreamed of being with since she could remember.
Now that she thinks about it, why did she run away and leave him behind? He's not even scary, well to her at least, and he's even gentle with her and even kissed her hand! She's now starting to feel bad. He's the first man that is sweet to her, yet she just left him?
As she was running while sliding alongside Buggy and the other members of his crew, she pulled her slip ability away from her foot, causing her to stop.
"What are you doing? We need to run away fast before the marines and that maniac find us!" Buggy shouted, not even trying to stop. Alvida just stood there and started to regret her decision of running away. This Buggy was a disappointment and weak, so why did she even make an alliance with him? And why did she go with him after he betrayed her before? "Ugh! This alliance is over! Do whatever you want!" Buggy added as his whole crew made a sharp turn to the left and finally disappeared from her sight.
"I hope he can forgive me," She muttered, finally running back to the plaza. As she was on the way, rain suddenly started pouring in, wetting her clothes. Still, she didn't stop until she finally reached the main plaza again, just to find hundreds of marines there cleaning the bodies and a crowd of civilians looking horrified. "What happened here? Did they manage to kill… the pirate?" She asked one from the crowd.
"I-I heard that he managed to defeat Captain Smoker and ran away."
"Where?!" She asked in a hurry, shaking the man, which he seemed to like.
"To the western port." She pushed him away and quickly ran to the direction of that port. "Don't go there, miss! Marine reinforcements are coming and there will be a big fight there!"
Alvida doesn't care. Why? She honestly doesn't know. But she wanted to at least see him again before he left.
