"Not good!"
The alien leader instinctively sensed danger. He shouted and immediately dove aside.
A stench of blood and rot hit his nostrils, and overhead, a black hook whizzed past, grazing his scalp.
"I dodged it!"
But that only saved himself.
Clack… clack…
"Ah!"
A scream echoed as one of his unprepared comrades was snagged by the black hook in the abdomen.
The hook was covered with crude Abyssal marks, and a chain, just as terrifying, trailed behind it.
In the next instant, the victim was dragged screaming into the dark jungle.
From the darkness came the horrifying sounds of chewing, and along with it, desperate, agonized screams.
"What… what is that?"
The remaining aliens trembled, gazing toward the source.
Only their leader made the correct decision.
"Run!"
"Flee! Take this news back to the larger tribe… ah!"
Before he could finish, the hook struck again, pulling another alien into the shadows.
From the dark depths, a grotesquely fat demon emerged, laughing cruelly.
In her left hand, she held the chain attached to the hook. In her right, dozens of chains, each with a small demon at its end, obediently enslaved.
Behind her stretched an endless horde of twisted, evil creatures, all different in form but equally terrifying.
Their eyes glowed crimson, radiating sheer brutality.
Seeing this, the alien leader immediately understood:
"Run! Now!"
The invading demon force was on an entirely different level compared to previous incursions.
"Let the priests call upon the gods… let them descend to—"
But the demons had no mercy, and the so-called pseudo-gods could not halt their iron-clad advance.
---
Two days later, the once lush and vibrant jungle had completely transformed.
The fresh air was now filled with stench and blood.
Tender flowers withered and died under the Abyss's influence.
Most of the jungle's animals were extinct. Those few that survived were no longer their former wild selves.
In their place were Abyssal beasts—physically grotesque, jagged with fangs, their minds twisted by the Abyss.
These beasts became a new malignancy in the world, ravaging the remaining jungle and hunting the few unmutated creatures.
They even terrorized alien settlements, casting a shadow of death over all.
Yet this world was not completely defenseless.
It possessed four extraordinary Mythical-like Beings.
One, feathered like a flying serpent, controlled all aerial creatures.
One, a hybrid of octopus and crab, ruled the ocean.
One, residing deep in the earth, governed fire and molten rock.
The last, a desert-dwelling collective being with countless avatars.
These four creatures were regarded as the world's four gods.
Though the title of God might be exaggerated, their strength was unquestionable.
Each successfully repelled the demon invasion, keeping these cosmic fiends at bay within their respective domains.
Before the main force of demons arrived via the spatial channels, these beings could maintain the world's balance.
Once the demon vanguard arrived, however, the situation would change drastically.

"The attack is progressing smoothly…"
Chu Hao opened his eyes, observing the planet. Black spots—growing in number and size—marked where the demons of the Endless Abyss had set foot.
Each spot represented a place corrupted, transformed into part of the Abyss.
Due to the Abyss's nature, its footprint only expanded.
Over time, before the spatial channels were fully established, the entire world could fall completely.
It would become a demon nest, integrated into the Endless Abyss.
The Abyss would gain new land, bloodlines, abilities, and rules, further enhancing its strength.
Since graduation, Chu Hao had overseen eight such harvests.
The Abyss and its demons had grown increasingly adept at this process.
By Chu Hao's estimation, this world could be fully corrupted in less than a week.
The four Mythical-like Beings would not significantly impede his plan.
All he needed to do was wait at the bottom of the Abyss.
As the master of the Endless Abyss, the demons were his loyal hounds, ready to execute his commands without question.
Yet, would everything proceed so smoothly?
That gray star in the sky, like the Abyss, was also approaching this world.
Another greedy, terrifying force was eyeing the planet.
The inadvertent collision between the two powers could destroy the very core of the world.
---
One hour before the spatial channels were completed, a gray portal quietly appeared behind the planet.
From the portal emerged a dark-armored creature.
It removed its helmet, inhaling the world's air with satisfaction.
Then, it smiled, a smile filled with grim delight.
Behind it stretched an endless army of darkness.
