For as long as people could remember, the word Bahimut had carried with it the weight of fear and awe.
In the simplest sense, Bahimut were monsters…giant creatures born from some unknown force of nature, towering over cities and casting shadows that stretched for blocks.
Yet to call them "just monsters" would be like calling a hurricane "just bad weather."
Bahimut were disasters given flesh, nature's wrath made real, the kind of beings that left entire nations trembling at the thought of their arrival.
The first Bahimut sightings went back centuries, long before modern times. Back then, people looked up at mountains that seemed to shift and move, or they told stories of beasts rising from the deepest oceans.
Many of those tales were dismissed as myths, bedtime stories carved into old stone tablets or passed along around campfires.
But when the modern age came, and Bahimut showed themselves in undeniable flesh and bone, those "myths" started to look more like warnings left by ancestors who had already survived their rage.
Bahimut varied wildly in shape and nature. Some were reptilian, with armored hides that could shrug off cannon fire. Others were insect-like, sprouting wings that blotted out the sun. Some came from the sea, others from underground, and a few seemed to simply appear from nowhere at all.
The only thing they shared was scale…bodies the size of skyscrapers, power that rivaled armies, and presence so overwhelming that human beings felt like ants before them.
Within the study of these creatures, humanity eventually gave them the name Bahimut.
The term did not belong to a single beast, but rather to the entire classification of colossal beings that stood outside the natural order.
To label something a Bahimut was to acknowledge that it was not merely an oversized animal but a force capable of reshaping landscapes and toppling civilizations.
Bahimut were categorized by threat level, a system created out of sheer necessity. At the lowest rung were Category I Bahimut, creatures large enough to devastate a town but still possible to contain or drive back with conventional military power.
At the other extreme were the Category V Bahimut, beings so immense and destructive that even the most advanced weaponry could only slow them down. A single appearance from one of these higher-class Bahimut was considered an extinction-level event.
But size and strength were not the only factors.
Bahimut were also ranked according to their nature. Some were territorial, emerging only when provoked or when their environment shifted.
Others were migratory, crossing continents or oceans, leaving ruin in their path simply by moving.
The most dangerous were the so-called Cataclysm Bahimut, those that appeared to embody natural disasters themselves.
These were the ones linked to earthquakes, superstorms, or tsunamis, as if their very existence warped the world around them.
In the early days, humanity could do nothing but pray. Villages fled inland when they saw his massive shadow beneath the waves.
Kingdoms offered sacrifices, believing Bahimut was some kind of god of the deep. Even when cities began to rise, armed with cannons and rifles, nothing they built could scratch their armored hide. To face Bahimut was to face futility itself.

Looking at the familiar person before him, he rolled his eyes, "I wonder what Teacher Shizue is doing here"
Before him was the so-called Teacher Shizue and she has another identity which was that she was his elder sister, literally not blood related.
Shinra was an orphan, he lost his parents at the age of three. As for what caused their death, he couldn't remember anything.
Later adopted into the family of Kurobane.
Even though adopted, they didn't change his same or surname, a way to respect his dead parents and show that he still carries their bloodline or lineage.
Due to this, his childhood hasn't been hell but fun as They were the one taking care of him until this time, they were his family.
"Hmph, you this little brat, what did I tell you about coming late to school"Teacher Shizue snorted, holding Shinra ear, twisting it.
"Awww! What are you trying to do? It's not your problem. How can a teacher enter a student's house, especially if they are of the opposite sex. Also it's not that I am not doing well in my results" Shinra snickered, removing his ear from her hands.
"Who are you trying to play with? I wonder if I tell mummy, how she would deal with you" Teacher Shizue grinned, not bothering, sitting on the cushion comfortably.
Shinra twitched when he heard this, helplessly, he replied, "I have heard I will come to school early from now on"
He fears his mom and even Teacher Shizue fears her, just don't do anything that would cause her anger.
"Anyhow that's your problem, the next time I would report to Mum, so you can be dealt with" Shinra's expression turned ugly when he heard her words.
"Where were you coming from?" She looked Shinra in the eye, her expression showed that she was baffled.
When Shinra heard this, his expression was perplexed, looking at Shizue, with a calm smile on his face, "Just went to settle some issues. No big deal"
Teacher Shizue frowned, looking at her younger brother, she knows him, matters that said he would settle weren't ordinary.
"Why do I feel like you are hiding something" Her eyes squinted, staring at Shinra, sharp, wanting to find out what he was hiding.
Shinra's expression didn't change under her gaze. Shrugging his shoulders, "It's up to you to think of whatever matters it is"
Teacher Shizue frowned, before she snorted, taking it off her mind.
Shinra was relieved, his family doesn't know about that ability of his, he felt like a storm would happen if it gets exposed.
"Have you cooked anything?" He asked.
"Yeah...."
GGRRRRROOOOMMMMBBBLLLEEEE… KRRRAAACKKKK—SHHHHHHHH!!! BOOOOMM—CRRSSHHHH!!
Everywhere shook, as if an earthquake was happening, Shinra and Teacher Shizue quickly held something, it took about a minute before everything settled.
Both of them looked at each other, shock flashing through their eyes.
The next moment, Teacher Shizue quickly switch on the television.
"BREAKING NEWS!"
