"Dark Magic: Nameless Slash!"
"Salamander, roar!"
"Beast Magic: Invincible Elbow Attack!"
Rhya stood to the right, waving his sword as a dazzling black light sliced toward Yami.
Fana was on the left, and the fiery lizard perched on her shoulder spewed raging flames, aiming to burn Adam and the others to ashes.
Vetto faced Yami head-on, his body harder than diamond. After only a few clashes, he shattered Yami's precious sword—one the captain had jokingly said he'd paid off in installments over ten years—into two broken halves.
"Bastard! You're paying me back for that!" Yami roared.
Captain Yami unleashed his full strength, relying on his overwhelming physique, Ki control, and Dark Magic to block the Three Eyes' deadly combo.
"Oh no, Captain Yami can't hold on for much longer," Finral said anxiously.
Although the Three Eyes couldn't defeat Yami in a single strike, every attack left its mark. If this continued, the outcome was obvious—Yami would fall.
Everyone could see it. Asta clenched his fists and yelled, "Captain! Let me fight! I can—"
"Boy!"
Yami's voice boomed, eyes sharp and steady. His tone allowed no argument.
"I'm fine! This is my fight! I'll surpass my limits here and defeat them!"
"Ahh!! Captain Yami, can you please let me take this one instead?"
Adam's frustration was boiling over. He knew that saving his strength was the smart move—but dammit, what kind of man hides behind logic when his captain's bleeding out?
"Everyone keeps saying they'll never give up… but when they're cornered, they always find a way to surpass themselves! Damn it all, it's unfair!"
Adam roared, bursting from the black cocoon of energy. His aura exploded outward, his skin glowing red like a raging bull ready to charge.
"Such tremendous energy!"
Yami's eyes gleamed. He'd noticed something special about this kid during the entrance exam—that's why he recruited him. But this? This was far beyond his expectations.
"Violent Bull! Immense strength!"
Waves of pressure erupted from Adam's body, the Bull's power raging within him. Even if he could only unlock it temporarily, he'd make these bastards pay dearly.
"What's going on? Is he insane?"
Rhya and the others exchanged wary looks, thinking Adam had simply lost it and was going for a suicidal charge.
"Wait—!"
Licht's eyes widened. He stared at Adam with growing seriousness.
He hadn't forgotten—back in the white void, this kid's sealing magic had nearly killed him. And now? This energy… it was just as dangerous.
Licht's usual calm smile vanished. "Be careful! This guy's seal might have broken! Don't engage him—"
"Shut up, chatterbox!"
Adam slammed his feet into the ground, leaving a crater behind as he launched himself upward. His fist connected squarely with Licht's jaw.
"Bug, your opponent is me!"
Vetto couldn't hold back any longer. He didn't believe some human brat could cause real damage.
"Get lost, insect! You're not worthy to face me!"
Adam's eyes rolled white, madness filling his face as he clashed fist-to-fist with Vetto.
A sharp crack echoed through the air. For the first time, fear flashed in Vetto's eyes—his right arm had snapped.
"Get the hell out!"
Vetto was blasted backward like a rag doll, crashing into the cavern wall.
"Nameless Slash!"
"Salamander!"
Rhya and Fana, realizing the danger, launched their attacks to stop Adam.
"Take my punches!"
Adam shouted, the air around him trembling. He swung both fists wildly, each blow radiating shockwaves mixed with thunderous energy that shattered their spells instantly.
Rhya tried to teleport closer, attempting to touch Adam's grimoire to copy his magic.
"Salamander's Breath!" Fana fired another blast of fire to cover him.
"Boy, this time—"
But as soon as Rhya's fingers brushed Adam's grimoire, a surge of energy shot into his body. A suffocating pressure crushed his lungs. He barely had time to react before Adam's fist came flying.
"Bastard… can you feel the Bull's power?"
Adam's grin twisted into something wild and wicked as he threw his punch.
Crack!
Rhya was sent flying through the air, eyes wide, lightning crackling across his body.
"Your turn, pinkie!" Adam sneered, turning toward Fana. "That last fire trick stung!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Adam twisted midair, stepping as though on invisible platforms, moving through the air itself.
"Damn it! I'm removing my limiter!" Vetto bellowed, climbing out of the rubble, veins pulsing.
"How many magic tricks does this kid have!?" Rhya spat, dazed.
But before he could recover, Yami appeared at his side, his blade wreathed in shadows.
"Dark Magic: Black Hole Blade!"
Rhya froze mid-teleport. Just before the black blade could bisect him, Licht appeared and lashed out with a Light Whip, colliding with Yami's strike.
Boom!
The explosion sent both sides flying back.
"Adam is incredible…"
For the first time, Asta's confidence faltered. His captain was insanely strong—but Adam? That was on a whole different level. Could he ever really reach the title of Wizard King?
Smack!
Asta slapped both cheeks, forcing his focus back. He couldn't just stand here feeling sorry for himself—he had to act!
While Gauche and Finral were regaining their magic, Asta crept closer to the battlefield, waiting for the right opening.
Boom!
Adam smashed his fist into Fana, sending her flying. He didn't hold back just because she was a girl.
"Bastards!"
"Electric Eyes!"
Vetto charged again, roaring with rage, while Rhya teleported in from Licht's side.
For the first time ever, the Three Eyes—the elite of the Midnight Sun—felt the urge to retreat… from a human.
To defeat Adam, they'd have to lift their seals.
But… now wasn't the right time.
Adam could feel the Bull's power fading. Snarling, he charged the Three Eyes like a madman.
"Attack and Defense Fusion!"
"Salamander's Breath!"
"Beast Magic: Furious Elbow Strike!"
"Electric Eyes!"
While Adam battled them head-on, Licht hovered above, his magic fully recovered, watching the chaos unfold.
If Rhya weren't in danger, Licht would've just stayed back, observing like a commentator at a bloodsport.
"Dark Magic: Black Hole Blade!"
"Light Magic: Divine Punishment!"
The black slash clashed against the holy beam, shaking the cavern.
Through the flying dust, a figure dashed out from the shadows.
"It's not over yet!"
Asta seized the moment, swinging his sword with all his might and smashing Licht away.
As Licht was sent flying, he saw Adam in midair—literally slapping Fana in the butt, making her cry out in shock.
Vetto and Rhya, enraged, prepared to lift their restraints when a thunderous roar shook the cave.
"Adam! You've insulted my people! You'll burn in hell for this!"
