LIA'S POV
This morning, I woke up feeling great. I'd say it has something to do with the fact that its summer, and I just want to have fun and make great memories that will last forever, and just for once, I won't have to worry about impressing anyone or being awfully polite. This summer will definitely be perfectly imperfect, I will let it all play out the way it likes for once,...and just let the past be the past.
Just as I was deep in my thoughts, Mia's voice cut through the my thoughts. "Lia, come on lets go already before we miss our flight", "Ok, ok I'll be right down", I promise you Lia, you worked hard to enjoy life, not to feel trapped. This is going to be it the most epic vacation for THE GIRLS, I tell myself while zipping up my suitcase.
"Lia!" Mia screams, in an obvious annoyed tone. "I'm here, there is no need no need to bite my head off." I say walking down the stairs, obviously annoying Mia even more with my carefree tone. "Well, if you had woken up earlier, I wouldn't feel the need, to want to bite your head off".
"Whatever, let's just go already" I say trying to ignore Mia's obvious annoyance with me, ''Why do I even bother with you, it's not like it will affect my life if you are left behind'' Mia says rolling her eyes at me in disbelief. 'Well Mia, i don't think I'm the one who is going to cause us to be late, you are the one giving me a lecture about me over sleeping when we could be in the car right now, you know driving to the airport''
"Yeah, of course it now it's my fault it was me who over slept right, it was me who was last minute packing right" Mia says glaring at me so bad, it sent shivers down my spine. "I-I think we should get going now the girls are probably waiting for us". I say gathering up all my courage, to hide to fact that her tone and glare had, had such an effect on me. I'm shocked I got away with only a glare and a cold tone, because I've been really pushing her to the limit these days, we might be my besties, but she will lose all patience she has left for me if I dare try her again.
I feel my pockets for the car keys, just my luck Mia has the car keys. "Looking for these, ha", Of course when i need the key it's never with me.
"Come on, Mia let's be mature and just got to the airport I'm sure the girls are waiting for us already, and we might miss the flight"
''You're lucky I'm in a good mood, oh and do me a favor and put my luggage in too, I will start the car in the meantime, be quick''. Mia says smirking, before hopping into the car happily knowing she got me, but that that definitely could have gone worse than just loading some extra luggage, I think to myself before trying to pick up Mia's luggage, how is it even possible for a suitcase to be so heavy, did she pack rocks in here, my luggage isn't half as heavy as hers, yet she has the nerve to tell me to pack lightly.
After loading all the luggage, I get into the car, ''Ready to start the to go'' Mia says applying her lip gloss in the rearview mirror, ''Yes definitely, right now feel like I just began my vacation with a workout. I mean seriously though how is your luggage so heavy, did you pack rocks or what'' I said somewhat breathlessly, from having to carry all of Mia's luggage while giving her a small glare.
'' Well, I'm glad to hear to you enjoyed loading the luggage'' Mia replied smugly obviously trying to get me even more annoyed. ''You know what, all I want right now is to be at the airport cause right now it feels like we are never going to get to there'' I say ignoring her teasing ''Why do I feel like it is my first time hearing you say something valid, not important but valid.'' Mia taunted, while smirking, before speeding out the garage.
I quickly try to fasten my seat belt, while my stomach began twisting, giving me the urge to vomit right there and then, every swerve fueling the feeling even more. My parents would never believe me if I told them the precious angel who they trust more than me, was speeding.
''Mia, could you slow down!'' I screamed at her, only for her to give me a small, barely noticeable shrug. I swear I could literally pull out my hair right now, no actually I could pull out her hair right now.
''Mia, I swear to god I will throw up in your car if you don't slow down right now'' I growl at Mia ''You wouldn't dare'' Mia threatened ''You want to put that to the test, then be my guest and continue speeding.'' ''Fine, jeez just don't ruin my baby, she was just cleaned up... from you, so you are lucky I you are even sitting there. So the least you could do is respect her'' Mia scoffed slowing down a bit ''Thank you'' I scowl back at her rolling my eyes. I can't wait to get to the airport.
