Chapter 161 - Returning to the Hidden Leaf Again

Lexon did not immediately go to the earth-moon transmission point given by Black Zetsu. Instead, he planned to squeeze the remaining value out of the White Snake Sage in the pot first.

After all, no matter what, he could only sign in once a day, not multiple times.

Creating multiple sign-in targets was meaningless.

He just needed to ensure the succession of the next sign-in target went smoothly.

And the earth-moon transmission point was right there; he didn't need to worry about it suddenly disappearing.

The smooth succession of the sign-in target was certain.

Moreover, signing in more to increase his strength would make facing the "Giant Tenseigan" of Hamura Otsutsuki's descendants on the moon easier.

Thus, Lexon returned to the Hidden Leaf.

...

"You stinky fox, if you can't play, don't play!"

"Stinky brat, you suck at playing and you're still yelling here!"

"You dragged me to death!"

"You are the one dragging this old man down!"

As soon as Lexon appeared in Naruto's seal space, he saw two figures arguing in front of a game console.

He happened to return to the Hidden Leaf at noon, so he came over to Naruto's place to visit.

However, his calls and knocks received no response. So he sensed briefly and found Naruto motionless in the living room.

So he entered without invitation.

Upon seeing him with his own eyes, he realized Naruto's consciousness had entered the seal space.

Because Naruto was still young, he couldn't observe outside matters while inside the seal space, so he hadn't noticed Lexon's knocking, calls, or arrival.

After entering the seal space, he saw the two of them arguing.

The two were arguing with intense concentration, not noticing Lexon's arrival at all.

They were even holding the controllers and operating them while arguing.

"Why are you playing games so noisily..." Lexon said faintly, standing behind them.

The arguing stopped instantly.

Unsurprisingly, the fox body of the Nine-Tails trembled again, startled.

Little Naruto was quite calm. Hearing Lexon's voice, he turned his head to look at him with a surprised face and said, "Lexon, you came here too!"

"Yeah." Lexon looked at him and nodded.

"Listen to me... Lexon." Little Naruto threw down the controller and ran to Lexon's side, seeming to want to tell him something.

"Hey! Brat! We're going to lose!" Kurama only glanced at Lexon before focusing back on the game. Seeing Naruto go AFK right there, he couldn't help but shout.

They were playing a two-player co-op game; if one person didn't pull their weight, the other would be done for too.

"Finish playing first," Lexon said gently to Naruto, signaling him to finish this level with Kurama first.

"Oh, oh..." Naruto sat back in his original spot and picked up the controller to operate.

Not long after, under their "joint cooperation," the game ended in failure, as expected.

"It's all your fault, you brat! This old man could win operating with one claw and one controller!"

"What! Stinky fox, if you hadn't pushed that box over there, we wouldn't have lost!"

"Can you blame this old man for that? You didn't object to pushing that box either!"

As soon as they finished playing, these two showed signs of starting to argue again.

"Alright, alright, stop arguing." Lexon clapped his hands, acting as a peacemaker to stop their quarrel.

"Heh..." With Lexon stopping them, Kurama didn't continue. He just glanced at Naruto very arrogantly, then turned his fox head away, looking as if he disdained to argue with a brat.

As a child, Naruto naturally got a bit angry too, turning his head away as well, looking as if he would never play with the stinky fox again.

"So what were you going to tell me just now? Naruto." Lexon sat down beside them and asked about what Naruto hadn't finished saying earlier.

"It's just that I don't know when I'll come here, and then I see this fox. It even makes me play games with it, like it has no friends! Why, Lexon? You are a ninja, and you can come here too... you should know, right?"

Naruto asked with an innocent face.

This child still didn't understand these related matters and seemed somewhat puzzled.

"You say it as if this old man rarely wants to play with you, you stinky brat... if not for this..." Hearing Naruto's words, Kurama's fur instantly stood on end, and he retorted, pointing a fox claw at Lexon.

But after being glanced at by Lexon, he didn't continue.

"It is a fox residing within your body, which is the 'Demon Fox' the villagers of the Hidden Leaf talk about," Lexon found a slightly easier explanation and explained to Naruto.

Lexon originally thought Naruto would blame the Nine-Tails for being the culprit "Demon Fox" that caused his isolation.

Unexpectedly, Naruto didn't care about that point at all. Instead, he said...

"Residing?" Naruto looked at Kurama. "Then, stinky fox, why don't you pay rent for living in my body!"

I should say, that is indeed the correct answer for Naruto.

Hearing these unreliable words, Lexon thought to himself.

Unknowingly, a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

While Lexon thought this, Kurama thought differently.

I am sealed here... how can you demand rent?

Are you kidding me!

You think I want to live here?!

Just as Kurama was about to retort, he was stopped by Lexon's gaze again.

"Its name is Kurama," Lexon introduced to Naruto.

"Hey! Why did you casually tell this stinky brat my name!" Kurama immediately shouted.

"What's wrong with that? Calling each other by name increases emotional exchange," Lexon said with a smile.

However, Naruto beside them had shining eyes. "Is this stinky fox called Kurama?"

Then, he extended his hand to the Nine-Tails and said, "I am Uzumaki Naruto. Please take care of me, Kurama!"

This was their first formal interaction.

Previously, the Nine-Tails would just occasionally drag Naruto into the seal space by force, and after playing a couple of games, ruthlessly kick him out.

It didn't count as interaction.

"Heh... brat, don't think this old man will call your name." Kurama didn't extend a claw to shake but crossed his claws in front of his chest. His fox face looked arrogant, and his tone was asking for a beating.

However, given Kurama's shrunken chibi body, such a tone and action appeared very cute.

"What... you stinky fox, so rude!" Little Naruto didn't appreciate Kurama's attitude.

"You are the one who is, brat!" The strongest of the Tailed Beasts, the Nine-Tails, naturally wouldn't show weakness either.

For a moment, there was a tendency to start arguing again.
