OPERATIONAL HISTORY SUMMARY

Alex Radekov was the most successful Tier 1 extraction specialist in Division history. He achieved a perfect success rate on every mission until his final one, though his methods were always extreme. He was legendary for his cold efficiency and ability to disappear even when surrounded, earning him the moniker "The White Wolf."

THE SYRIAN INCIDENT (7 YEARS AGO)

Radekov's last mission was to extract a high-value informant from a fortified compound near Homs. The operation was severely compromised, believed to be due to an internal leak. Radekov, his team of four operatives, and the target were ambushed and presumed eliminated. No bodies were recovered, and all five were officially declared KIA to prevent international fallout.

CURRENT ASSESSMENT

The intervention in Zurich confirms that Alex Radekov survived the Syrian incident and has been operating independently for three years. His motivation for appearing and saving The Veils team is unknown, which is considered a critical threat. Radekov's unparalleled skill and deep knowledge of Veilbreakers protocols make him the single greatest potential adversary to the Division.

Priority: Determine Radekov's allegiance and apprehend him immediately."

The operations center beneath Bouvet Island was silent, the air heavy with shock and the bitter smell of burnt coffee. Samuel Blake stared at the confidential profile of Alex Radekov, the file listing his legendary aliases and the official status—KIA—that was now clearly a lie.

"The White Wolf," Samuel muttered, pushing his chair back from the terminal. The light from the screen reflected in his tired eyes. "He's been out there for three years. Why show up now? To save us? Or to show us we're hunting the wrong enemy?"

Amanda stood by the table, her stance rigid. The professional chill that usually defined her had been replaced by a quiet fury. "He eliminated the entire security detail and the Cartel Manager in under fifteen seconds. That's not a hostile move, Sam. That's a rescue disguised as a demonstration of force."

"A demonstration we can't ignore," Samuel countered. "He knows every protocol we use, every weak spot in our defense. We just confirmed the greatest threat to the Division is a ghost we trained ourselves."

The tense silence was broken by an urgent chime from Lena, the team's comms and surveillance expert. Lena, along with Kai, the heavy weapons specialist, and Asher and Kyros, the two remaining Veils, were gathered around the central table.

"Incoming distress call," Lena announced, her voice tight. "Priority Red. It's a direct plea from Rome. The client is Vittorio Moretti, the head of the Moretti organization."

Samuel's brow furrowed. "The Mafia? Why are we fielding calls from them?"

"Because the call is personal, not political," Kyros said, pointing to a flashing red map of central Europe. "Moretti's youngest son, Dario, was kidnapped twelve hours ago in Florence. The ransom demand arrived one hour ago. And the modus operandi is identical to Zurich."

"Identical?" Amanda stepped forward.

"The demand specifies a unique encryption signature—the same one we found on the dummy Cartel Manager's discarded terminal," Kyros confirmed. "It's the same cell, Samuel. They've moved from political targets to pure high-value ransom. They're scaling up, and fast."

Samuel slammed his fist softly on the console. "Radekov can wait. This Cartel is showing they have an operation that spans continents, and they're using it to fund something big. We're not protecting the Mafia; we're cutting off a systemic threat before it becomes impossible to manage."

He looked at the map. "Where is the exchange point?"

"The Cartel specifically chose Berlin, Germany," Lena replied. "The drop is scheduled for 1800 hours tomorrow at a private office tower complex near the Brandenburg Gate. It's a logistical nightmare—crowds, multiple surveillance points, perfect for an escape."

"Perfect for an extraction," Amanda corrected, already moving toward the armory.

Samuel addressed the team. "Moretti is willing to pay any price. We take the money, we get the boy, and we burn this cell to the ground. This time, we don't leave a single loose end. Kyros, prep your cover story. Asher, pack for a deep-urban assault. We are moving from the ice to the heart of Europe. Now."

Amanda said with cold and ready eyes - "Let's hear up team, we're going for another extraction."

Hours later, the Veilbreakers jet was touching down at a military airfield outside Berlin. The sun had set, and the city lights promised a chaotic, complicated environment for their operation.

Inside the transport, Asher checked the weight of the specialized, silent charges on his vest. He looked at Amanda, who was testing the feed for her optical contact lens.

"We're running into the Cartel's territory," Asher murmured. "Do you think the White Wolf shows up for the money, too?"

Amanda sealed her case shut with a decisive click. "Radekov doesn't care about the money. He cares about the game. And this game, Asher, just got a lot bigger than Zurich."

She pulled on a heavy, tailored coat, her eyes already scanning the mission plans projected onto the cabin wall. "We'll get the Mafia boss's son. If Radekov appears, we deal with a ghost. But for now, our only target is Berlin."

Asher said in determination - " Let's start moving now so that we don't put the kid in more danger."
