We both continued watching..them

"Hmm....it seems..he is getting a nice tutor"

Lavini mentioned referring to a panel of status...

"Oh!..let me see.." I leaned over to see a closer look.

"A king rank magician huh..that too a demon race."

This world has two power rankings.

A normal alphabetical ranking from 'M' being the highest and 'F' being the lowest.

And the other is level ranking.

---

1. Beginner.

2. Intermediate.

3. Proficient.

4. King.

5. Emperor.

6. Saint.

---

And magicians who wield tier 2 magic like..

"Ice".."Blaze".."Thunder"...

begin from Emperor class.

"Isn't Krish an emperor-saint class with his"Ice"and "Crystal"..."

"Also he had a supreme skill extra.."

I smiled at Lavini triumphantly.

"You bet he is."

"This is nothing to celebrate about.." she cut me off.

"He didn't even use my skill...and look how he uses it."

I ignored her and switched the scene to Krish..

---

[Starmreach]

"Krish..krish...wake up damn it...how long are you gonna stay in bed...it's past 10!"

Krish woke up from his bed and headed to the door..to open it..

He was greeted by an angry Mira.

"Geez..you are finally awake..go fresh up and eat breakfast"

"Mmm.."

A lazy Krish walked into the hall, glancing out the window showing the beautiful world beyond.

"Aaah...bathing in hot water after waking up..."

Krish submerged himself up to his mouth in the bath.

He remembered his mother forbidding him from using magic in the surroundings of the house.

So Krish began hitting the roads...

Sometimes sneaking...

Ah, children. They always think they're being sneaky.

Krish was no different.

After three days of his mother's endless chatter about her adventures and "no more magic in the house," the boy finally gave up and decided to leave.

He slipped out of the house early in the morning with his little satchel and that determined look that only a child could wear.

From above, I watched him walk down the dirt path leading to the forest behind their town.

He hummed to himself, kicking small pebbles along the road.

"Ah! Good for him to be a child again."

He strolled through the village fields...

He didn't have a plan—just wanted quiet for once.

The village air was cool and clean.

He took a deep breath and raised his hand, letting mana flow through his palm.

Just light practice—he wasn't trying to invent anything new, only to see how far his control had come.

Tiny motes of light shimmered between his fingers, dancing in the air.

He smiled to himself. It wasn't perfect, but it was something he could call his own.

And he reached a great tree and placed his head on the root to take a little nap...

And he dozed off..

---

"Hmm..so noisy"

Krish woke up to the laughter of kids..

They sounded like they were mocking someone.

A girl's voice—high, panicked.

Krish followed the sound and hid behind a bush.

A small group of boys, maybe a little older than him, had cornered a girl against a tree.

Her clothes were torn, her basket scattered across the ground.

Lying on the ground, hood over her face, covered in mud...

She looked frightened but tried to stand tall.

The boys were throwing rocks at her..

He wasn't sure whether to step in or not..

He hesitated for a bit...then remembered the bullying he went through..

So he did.

"Hey! Stop it!"

The boys turned around, surprised to see a child standing there.

One of them scoffed. "Who are you supposed to be?"

Krish took a deep breath. "I said, just leave her alone."

They laughed and didn't move, so he raised his hand.

A sudden gust of wind shot across the clearing, enough to knock the boys off balance.

Startled, they grabbed their injured thighs and ran.

When the clearing fell silent again, Krish turned to the girl.

She stared at him, wide-eyed.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

He heard no reply...only a frightened girl trying to run away.

Krish froze...then caught her hand.

Revealing her unhooked face...

Pointy ears...parrot-green hair...orange eyes asking for mercy..

Seeing this, Krish tightened his jaw and raised his hand...and splashed some hot water at her.

The soaked elf girl calmed down, kneeling...

Then she looked at him...clearly shaking from the cold..

"Oh," he said after a pause. "Sorry."

Then he used steam magic to warm her up.

After that, she dozed off..

Krish let out a sigh and carried her toward the tree and placed her under the shade.

---

"Hmm...ahh!"

The girl, after waking up, let out a surprised tone seeing Krish sleeping beside her..

"Ah..you are awake. I'm more surprised that you can talk...here, take this." Krish handed over the fallen basket.

When he saved her from the kids and she fainted, Krish collected the fallen basket and herbs. "Here. I didn't mean to scare you."

That was enough to make her scream and hide behind a rock nearby..

"You are scared now?..." said Krish with a betrayed expression.

That made Lavini laugh so much that I had to use silence magic to stop her from hurting her stomach.

He scratched his head, sighing...

He placed his hand in his pocket and took out a candy and offered it to her.

"Here, take this...it's for you."

The girl, first hesitant, reached out to him...

And began munching on the candy he made by himself...

And she seemed to enjoy it...

"Elvie," the girl said, barely audible to Krish.

"Sorry?.."

"Elvie...it's my name," she said, eating the candy.

"Oh! I see...Krishna — it's my name. You can call me Krish," Krish said.

After exchanging names, they both began meeting often at the Taiju tree...

Sometimes Krish would teach her about science...

She seemed to enjoy it...

And that made Krish excited...

It seemed that boy made his first student.

After teaching her about some science and little tricks...

They walked together to the village's edge.

The sun was already setting.

After seeing the beautiful sunset...they parted ways.

---

[Divine Realm]

I leaned back on my seat, watching them from above.

Lavini, the goddess of space, appeared beside me with her usual calm expression.

"Green hair, pointy ears, sharp tongue," she said. "You planned this, didn't you?"

I smiled faintly. "I just guided fate a little. That girl's soul was bound to meet his again sooner or later."

Lavini took a sip of tea. "Hmm.."

"Old habits," I sighed. "At least he's brave enough to help someone. That's a start."

Below, the two children walked in different directions, neither realizing how closely their paths were tied...

---

[Pov:Krish (1/2)]

I'm humming my way to the house...then I spotted the kid from before walking from my house...ignoring me.

When he noticed me, he pulled his tongue out and insulted me...before leaving.

"What the heck?.."

I ignored it as child mentality and continued walking home...

As if nothing was wrong...

Or so I thought..

"Umm...when did you arrive...father...and why are you standing outside?"

My father was standing outside. It seems the mother of that boy came and complained about her son's injuries...

What a pathetic bunch...lying about me bullying them unfairly...

"Tell me, why did you do it...I heard you even used magic."

After that, I explained everything to him...how they bullied a girl...and everything.

Then father went silent...

And then he patted my head.

"Father?"

"Good job..." he said, smiling. "But using your magic was a waste on them...so promise me never to use it on trash."

My eyes widened at that remark...then I smirked.

"Yes."

After a second, we both walked into the house...getting scolded for being late...

---

[FEW minutes later]

I'm currently lying on the ground...seeing a white mist swirling in front of me..

"What the hell is that?"
