The chamber trembled as the last shadow of their dark counterparts dissolved into thin air. Each of them—Ignis, Aqua, Terra, Sylph, Lior, Solaris, and Night—stood catching their breath, exhausted yet victorious. The echoes of the battle still hung in the air like smoke after a wildfire.
Then, before their eyes, the glowing system interface appeared once more, shimmering with ancient light:
[System Notification: Floor 95 Cleared.][Progress: 82 → 95 Floors Completed.][Reward: Elemental Rank Advancement — General Class.]
A radiant surge of energy enveloped Ignis, Aqua, Terra, and Sylph, lifting them slightly off the ground. Their elemental symbols—flame, wave, stone, and wind—glowed brightly across their armor and eyes.
"Wha—what's happening?" Terra asked, shielding his face from the light.
Lior smiled faintly, "It's recognition… you've all ascended."
The system's voice resonated across the chamber:
"By strength and unity, four have risen to command the elemental legions.Ignis — Commander of the Blazekin, fierce reptiles born from the molten core.Aqua — Commander of the Oceara, disciplined soldiers of the deep sea.Terra — Commander of the Gravok, stone-clad guardians of the earth.Sylph — Commander of the Elsys, swift and unseen spirits of the wind."
Each general felt a pulse of energy inside them. In that moment, they could sense their new armies — distant yet connected through soul and command.
Ignis clenched his fist, a smirk forming on his face. "Blazekin, huh? I like the sound of that."
Aqua gave him a light smile. "Just make sure your reptiles don't burn my Oceara."
Terra laughed heartily. "Ha! Try not to flood us first."
Sylph twirled in the air, her voice light and teasing. "Boys, boys… my Elsys could wipe you all out before you blink."
Night leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "If you're done comparing pets, maybe we focus on the last five floors?"
The mood shifted again — serious, tense. The air around them grew colder, darker. The light of the system dimmed, revealing a large gate at the end of the chamber, carved with runes that pulsed like beating hearts.
Lior stepped forward, his eyes sharp. "The next floors… they won't just test our power. They'll test our will."
Ignis nodded, his flame aura flickering brighter. "Then we'll burn through them."
"Together," Aqua added softly.
The team stood united once more — generals and warriors, friends and brothers in arms. The gate before them rumbled open, revealing an ominous staircase descending into the unknown.
As they stepped forward, the system's voice echoed one final line:
"Prepare yourselves… for the Final Descent — Floors 96 to 100: Trial of Ascension."
And with that, they vanished into the darkness below, ready for whatever awaited at the bottom of the ancient tower.
