(Ren's P.O.V.)
I calmly stepped out of the dungeon portal. By now, it was already noon.
I stretched a little. I was really hungry too. After getting home, I'd just order takeout — I wasn't in the mood to cook.
As I walked toward my apartment, I reviewed the results of the run. The harvest wasn't bad. I had reached at least level 40, and my strength had increased quite a bit.
My control over spiritual pressure had refined even more.
Overall, I was steadily getting stronger.
But first… what should I eat?
Right as I was thinking about it, the system rang.

[Player has reached the required level. Class Change Quest is now available.]
My eyes widened.
A class change quest… this could change everything.
But I quickly calmed down. I already knew what was waiting there.
An image surfaced in my mind — a knight in crimson armor wielding a massive greatsword, two menacing glowing eyes staring from inside the helmet.
If I wanted to defeat that thing, I needed to become much stronger.
So I decided not to accept the quest. Not yet.
I had a faster way to level up.
---
After getting home, I took a shower and ate my takeout.
Once I finished resting for a bit, it was time to act.
I changed clothes and used my Fullbringer ability to reinforce them.
After leaving the building, I activated stealth and moved through the city unseen.
What was I looking for?
A Hollow.
Whenever Hollows appear, they leave a Garganta behind. Through it, I could enter Hueco Mundo.
It was extremely risky — but also the fastest way to grow.
After searching for a while, I finally found one entering a Garganta. I quietly followed behind it.
---
After passing through the tear in space, another world revealed itself.
Perpetual night.
No sun — only a pale crescent moon hanging in a black sky. Despite that, the world wasn't completely dark. Everything was covered in dim, cold silver-gray light.
The ground stretched endlessly as a desert of white sand. Not ordinary sand, but crushed quartz — dry, rough, and crunching underfoot.
A silent, lifeless place.
The moment I arrived, I deactivated stealth.
With a clean slash of my katana, pulled from my inventory, I killed the Hollow in front of me. It let out a brief scream before collapsing.
I glanced at the Garganta behind me.
"System, how long will this passage remain open?"
...
[Approximately 3 hours before closure.]
...
Not surprising. The system existed for my growth, after all.
I turned forward again.
Hollows were already gathering, drawn by my spiritual pressure.
I tightened my grip on the katana.
My eyes slowly darkened to a deeper shade of blue.
Let the hunt begin.
---
Activating Bringer of Light, I dashed toward the Hollows. They screeched and lunged at me.
One attacked from behind — I sidestepped and cleaved its head apart.
Another fired a Hollow bullet. I sliced it cleanly in two.
As I cut through the horde, the system kept ringing.
[Level Up]
[Level Up]
[Level Up]

I switched my katana to daggers through the inventory and began moving rapidly between them.
Two Hollows attacked from opposite sides — I raised both daggers and split them apart in one motion.
A centipede-type Hollow burst from the ground, trying to ambush me. I sensed it instantly, jumped back, ran along its body, and drove both daggers into its eyes.
It shrieked in pain.
I stored the daggers and shifted into hand-to-hand combat.
Reinforcing my arms with spiritual pressure, I fought purely physically. One punch crushed a Hollow's head.
Another insect-type descended from above. Using Bringer of Light and reinforcing my legs, I appeared in front of it and punched through its torso, shattering it midair.
As the fight continued, I noticed something.
I was enjoying this.
Maybe a little too much.
…Am I a battle maniac?
Even I didn't know anymore.
