In a dark room, with dim red lights. The room proved to be full of tension as the smiling Yuri proved to be emotionless. Her visible lips proved to solid, made a straight line in the middle.
There was no sounds, maybe it was because Yuri chewed them when they started talking about their lifestyle in the middle of the meeting the last time. A scary echoed voice erupted in the room, sending shivers down their spines as Yuri asked about the mission.
*Flashback*
The plot of the mission.
As soon as Yuri yelled and asked about the ideas, ideas came rushing to her ears as she was craving them.
Tetsuya : "we are the black hoodies, sorry I mean mage's, we are not supposed to run out of ideas." he said, his hands rubbing his absent mustache.
Yuna : " that's good to hear from you, but what's your plan, don't beat around the bush." her anger prevailed, as they totally angered her by their actions.
Tetsuya : " my plan is to get rid of the guy anytime we sat our gaze on him or her."
Yui : "Yeah that same idea flashed in my head too but I ended up abandoning it. My main idea, the one that I thought to be good, was to follow your idea of killing him before he takes his second breath in this world.
Yuri : " that's good to hear, Yui. I guess we have someone following my idea. In order to not waste time, we are supposed to do something that will be fast." Yui's idea printed a warm chuckle on Yuri's face.
Taro : "I th..." he was cut off before he spoke his punch line.
Yuri : "Got it!" Everyone's eyes were glued on Yuri, waiting for her point. She continued, with her lips shining with a glimpse of a smile, " it's easy, who's going with Tetsuya's plan? Show by raising your hand!" No one raised a hand, and that made Yuri's grin grow larger as she grinned like a Cheshire cat. She continued, her hand holding her cheek, "mhh, looks like you lost Tetsuya!"
"It happens!" Tetsuya's voice growled as his face was bent down. He silently said, 'pheww, I thought maybe they were going to go along with my stupid idea that appeared in my head when I was talking.' His face slowly grinned as relief filled his body.
"I guess I'm up next. So who is going with my idea?" Yuna raised her hand followed by Yui, Taro searched for the unknown at first as he moved his face around under the hood but he ended up raising his hand. Yuri continued as she saw Kenji sitting idle without raising his hand. "Kenji? What's your idea, since I didn't see your hand?" Yuri asked as her grin faded.
"Nothing really, I was still processing both ideas. So I finally made a conclusion....."
"We are waiting Kenji, don't waste our time."
" I'll go with the winning team, because it already have three votes, so, let's execute that plan." Kenji said as his heart pounded, thinking on how his friend would react but, he already made his decision.
*Present day*
"Ahh, the mission, mission went well!" Said Kenji as the sweat followed down his hidden nose, while he rubbed his head.
"Ohh, really, that's good to hear." Yuri said with her face still solid.
"ohh yes miss Yuri, it was an easy task…..!" Yuna said, with a happy voice as she tried to explain on how it went.
"Easy task huh?" Yuri questioned with a simple chuckle on her face.
"Yeah! The way the guy landed, it was intriguing and the way we shot him, it was all amazing. The boring part is that, it took a short period of time.
"Hahaha, I see. Don't worry, you'll get a bigger mission, this was a warm up. The good thing is that, you guys successfully accomplished your mission."
Yuri praised her team as her face dissolved, making a warm grin, that stretched from ear to ear.
Meanwhile:
Kai and Sonia were still in the middle of the jungle.
Sonia asked again, "how are you going to do that?"
"….." Kai remained silent, with his eyes shut, trying to figure out what happened.
"hey, are you alive, hey Mister?" Sonia asked, as she moved towards him, snapping her fingers.
" You'll greatly be thanked if you tell me where I am or beat it." Kai said, as he remained furious, with his eyes closed. Sonia gasped as she was pierced in the chest by his words.
" ohh, is that how you ask for something, another worlder?"
Kai's orbs instantly got wide open in astonishment as he processed Sonia's words.
"Wait, what did you just call me?" Kai's brow quirked as he patiently waited for Sonia's reply.
Sonia chuckled in a mixture of a giggle like, "oops, my tongue slipped, I said.... nothing really!"
Kai's face reddened as his temper almost eloped. His eyes burnt with rage as he tried to attach everything he encountered. He then took a deep breath, and calmed down his anger.
With a fake smile browsing his face, he asked, "So, who are you again."
Sonia looked away as Kai stared at her, waiting for an answer.
She paused for a second, and silently said, ' I don't feel anything different from him, his not scary or anything, he's handsome too.' Her pause lowered Kai's patience and loudly said, " I'm someone who saved your life."
Akirion face got pale as her words were like a bullet that shot his head off. "How did you save it again?!" A criticizing question eloped from his mouth as it pierced Sonia's heart with a little smile following his words.
"Ouch, that hurts, why did I even help a scumbag?" she said with her eyes narrowed.
"HUUUUHH! WHO'S A SCUMBAG?!!" Kai yelled very loud making Sonia to close her ears with her index fingers.
"Wow, you are pretty loud."
"no, sorry, I didn't mean to shout!" Akirion said, with her hands fastly waving hinting a 'no' and embarrassment.
Sonia boomed with a giggle as she laughed at Kai. His eyes widened with his mouth shaped a round 'O' as if he was in a choir session.
"Hahaha, it's all right, it's totally my fault, hahaha!" she said as she continued laughing. Akirion's head ran around as he tried to figure out what was funny.
He ended up asking what she was laughing and she replied, " ohh sorry, your ex…. expression was totally funny, hahaha". She said as she continued laughing, then she bent, holding her stomach, while her giggle still on. Akirion was left astonished, his eyes widened, and mostly speechless.
He sighed but with nothing to say.
Sonia continued laughing until she said, " I, I, I can't stop laughing, but my ri, ribs are hurting, my stomach is hurting, haha!"
"Then why are you still laughing?" Kai asked, astonishment on high level in his face.
She remained laughing with her eyes closed, forcing Kai to sit down.
After some minutes she stopped, finding Akirion sitting down.
"Ohh, you have stopped," Akirion stood up as he asked Sonia.
"Ohh sorry, I didn't mean to, hihi," she replied with a smile on her face, as she wanted to laugh again.
"Okay then, would you mind telling me who you are?" he repeated the question again.
She replied, with her face solid, "I'm someone who saved your life."
