Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Chapter 11: Master

The alpha loomed over her like a mountain, pinning Shichu to the ground with his weight, rendering her momentarily immobile.

Yin Xu pinned her wrists behind her back, his towering frame casting a shadow that enveloped her completely.

He nuzzled her slender, pale neck, his hot breath searing her skin, leaving it flushed and sensitive. His every action spoke of a primal hunger, a desire to consume her very essence.

Shichu thrashed wildly, desperate to shake off the alpha's crushing weight. Why hadn't she realized back then that this guy was a force of nature, unstoppable and feral?

She should've seen it sooner – the mad dog in him, waiting to unleash its fury.

Damn it, were those two gone? They'd even talked about teaming up with her, and now she was like this – it was a total waste.

Dark, uncontrollable thoughts swirled in her mind, making her body quiver with rage. She glared at the alpha, her eyes blazing with murderous intent.

Yin Xu pinned her legs down, nuzzling her neck with his head. His eyes, hidden behind a curtain of black hair, burned with a fiery passion, a madness that seemed to consume him whole.

"I've finally got you, and you're not getting away from me," he growled, his voice low and husky.

He recalled their last meeting with crystal clarity – 28 days, four hours, and seven minutes had passed since then. Every day, he'd imagined running into her again, and now that it had finally happened, he felt like he'd been given a new lease on life.

After their first encounter, he'd become a man possessed. The girl's image haunted him, refusing to be shaken, whether he was awake or asleep. Her memory lingered, etched in his mind like a permanent scar.

He couldn't wait to see her again, and every spare moment he had, he'd search for her in the game. Late at night, he'd lie awake, thinking of her cold eyes and the pain she'd inflicted – a pain that had seared itself into his very bones.

It was as if she'd cursed him, branding her mark on his flesh and blood. He couldn't shake her off; she was a part of him now, forever etched in his psyche.

Shichu, sensing things spiraling out of control, struggled to break free from the alpha's grasp. She kicked out with her right foot, aiming for his abdomen, desperate to create some distance between them.

The alpha grunted, but his grip only tightened.

"Let me go! You can kill me or chop me up as you please."

"No," he growled, a dark glint flashing in his gray eyes. This was the flower that had grown from his very own flesh and blood – he'd finally found it, and there was no way he'd let it slip away. The thought of her dying was unbearable.

What the hell did he want? Just kill her already, why drag it out?

Suddenly, she felt a warm wetness trickle down the side of her neck, and Shichu's eyes widened in shock.

This bastard, how dare he!

She didn't care that the alpha was dirty; she just opened her mouth and bit down hard on his neck, her sharp teeth sinking into his flesh.

Yin Xu groaned, his body tensing up in pain, but he didn't resist. He let her vent her anger, his eyes burning with a mix of pain and fascination.

The taste of blood filled her mouth, but Shichu's eyes remained cold and hard, fueled by endless anger.

The air around them seemed to freeze, suspended in a moment of raw intensity.

After what felt like an eternity, she finally released her grip, spitting out a mouthful of bloody foam onto the ground.

The deep teeth marks on the alpha's neck were a stark reminder of her ferocity, and the corners of her mouth, stained with his blood, made her look a little unhinged.

Yin Xu's body quivered, his pain mingling with an intense excitement and joy that seemed to course through his veins like wildfire.

His heart pounded furiously, his blood racing through his veins like liquid fire.

The pain was a key that unlocked a deep-seated joy, one that had been imprisoned in his heart. It was as if the girl's bite had awakened a primal part of him.

A strange, almost feral light shone in his eyes, and his soul trembled under the intensity of the pain she had inflicted.

The alpha raised his head, his gaze fixating on the blood at the corner of her mouth. His voice was low and husky as he spoke, "Are you going to bite my glands?"

Shi Chu stared at him, incredulous.

The glands of alphas and omegas were intensely private, especially for alphas. They guarded them fiercely, and the thought of anyone touching, let alone biting, was unthinkable.

Such an act would trigger an alpha's primal instincts, sparking a fierce sense of self-preservation. Cross that line, and the alpha's anger and pursuit would be relentless.

And betas, like her, were different – they lacked pheromones and glands, making them incapable of marking or being marked.

It was insane. She recalled the last time she'd plunged a knife into his heart, and now he seemed... brain-dead?

"Bite my gland and mark me. Make me yours and stay with me forever." The thought sent shivers down his spine, his soul trembling with anticipation.

"Get lost! If you're in heat, go find an alpha. I'm just a beta." As a beta, she was powerless to mark him.

The moment he mentioned other alphas, it was like a primal switch flipped. Yin Xu's eyes flashed with possessiveness, his instincts roaring to life.

In a flash, the alpha's eyes turned piercing, like an eagle's, radiating an aggressive intensity that seemed capable of tearing everything apart.

"No, I only want you. You made me like this, you have to take responsibility." He was convinced she'd driven him to this madness, making him obsess over her, craving the pain and everything she'd given him.

How could she not want him, too? He was consumed by her, and he wouldn't settle for anything less.

He'd heard whispers from his fellow alphas about the aristocratic families, where omega masters and ladies would raise and train alphas, using pain and discipline to break them into loyal slaves and pets.

Now, he felt like her tamed pet, a chain wrapped around his neck, with the other end held firmly in her hand.

Memories of his comrades' stories came flooding back – the pets would address their owners as Young Master or Young Miss. Would she want him to call her that?

The alpha slowly lifted his head, his gaze cautious, as he tentatively called out, "Master?"

He watched her reaction anxiously, but her expression remained neutral, without a hint of disgust.

Yin Xu pushed his luck, baring the back of his neck and lowering his head to her ear. "Master, mark me," he rasped, his voice dripping with submission.

Ha, this was insane.

Wait, was it really? She replayed their encounters, and a realization dawned – he'd never truly intended to harm her. His aggressive attacks had been... controlled?

Is this guy for real?

Ah...she seemed to have figured it out. A mix of confusion and understanding crossed her face as she processed the alpha's words and actions.
