Kali had gotten on with her duties assigned to her. The meeting was set for a few days from now, and she needed to meet up with Blanc to go over the plan. She had already met back up with Gris to go over the framework he had thought up. Now she needs to take that to Blanc and finalise the details.
She got Vert to open up a Dimensional Gate to where Blanc is. Over these few decades the other Pillars have all been doing their own thing through the self autonomy that Gris gave them. As long as they all work toward his purposes and do not directly hinder them, they can have the freedom to pursue their own motivations. Blanc during this time has been working on her political acumen and planning after Gris had said that the reason he wanted her were for those reasons. After focusing on that for so long you could say she was becoming just as adept as she was in the original timeline, a lot earlier too.
As Kali arrived at Gris's castle, she went to the room that Blanc had taken up residence in. Since finishing incorporating their territories into Gris's, both Blanc and Bleu have taken up residence in Gris's castle. Vert and Kali had done the same before them, but Vert spends most of her time in her own former territory because that is where she set up her headquarters for the information network which she still mainly manages. Them moving in has recently made Vert want to subconsciously move the headquarters to the castle, which is actually something she has been in the process of doing.
Kali moved down the long and winding hallways of the castle as her feet patted against the red carpet running through the middle of the marble-like floors. She came to a large wooden door before knocking with utmost seriousness. As her small knuckles gently tapped on the door the sound seemed to echo around the quiet hallway.
Suddenly the door swung open and a strikingly mature-looking woman with waist-long snow-white hair and crimson red eyes looked at her from above because of the height difference. Even though Kali is also quite tall, this added to her naturally arrogant demeanour all Primordials have. However, this issue was compounded for Kali, because she was the only non primordial among The Pillars so far and so there was some discrimination, from Bleu and Blanc. Vert on the other hand, even if it may seem they hate each other have in actuality a very close friendship after their years together and their shared devotion for Gris.
"What do you want?" Said Blanc with a touch of barely concealed superiority. Something Kali has gotten used to over these past few decades.
"Master has ordered me to partner with you in going to the meeting on his behalf, he wants us to deal with it. He has told me the framework of a plan we should follow."
"I really do not understand why he holds you to such a high esteem, to even let you participate in something like this."
"That is because unlike you I am completely devoted to him and competent in my duties, have been since the beginning."
"You?! Where do you get this confidence from to speak to your betters like this?"
"Betters? Just because you were born a Primordial does not make you better than me!"
"Tch, crazy daemon..." She said with some distain.
"Come in then, let us ensure we do not let master down. And make sure you do not hold me back, I do not want to fail and feel his wrath because of you."
"Ha. Right back at you!"
-------------------
A few days later:
Kali and Blanc made their way to the meeting spot on neutral ground. Once they arrived it seems that a table and chairs had already been set up by the others subordinates that they brought along.
One glaring thing that stood out right away was a girl that seemed young in appearance with middle-length purple hair and yellow eyes, dressed in a cute purple dress. Even though her presence was striking, it was the thing or rather person she was sitting on that made Kali recoil slightly, Blanc seemed like this was normal occurrence.
As they sat down at their seats the girl looked down at the Greater Daemon and said in a sadistic tone but her outside expression seemed to contradict the words that were said "Stop making me so uncomfortable! Can you at least do this right? You failed in your duties to me and now you even fail to be a seat? Hmm ~"
"Sorry My -"
"Quiet. Do not speak when in my presence, chairs do not talk hehe~"
Before the Kali or Blanc could get a word in another figure leaning back in her seat like she owned the place, seeming like she would fit in more on earth in a high school, chewing gum and smoking than she would here among Primordials. She was a young woman with should length blonde hair and blue eyes giving off a wild aura and vibe of a delinquent or rebel.
She stood up abruptly and slammed her hands down as she said energetically "Violet! Stop weirding me out! Get a proper fucking chair!"
"Oh Jaune, stop being so loud you are making my head ache."
"What did you just say to me you little sadistic shit?!"
Her Daemonic Haki started to rise, but before a full on fight could take place Blanc raised her voice exuding her faux mature demeanour.
"Calm down Jaune. And Violet is there a need for this?" She said as she pointed at the shaking daemon beneath her.
"Yes there is, this is punishment for failing me, I could have slowly dismembered them and enjoyed their screams, so I think this is getting off lightly"
Blanc sighed disdainfully at the foolish behaviour, before saying "That is not what I meant. Anyway, lets get this meeting started shall we?"
Before they could Jaune spoke up again in her usual carefree, loud and blunt way "Who is this weakling? Is this girl really one of those lofty Pillars we have heard so much about?! Why would such a weak and lesser daemon be sitting at our table?"
"I was chosen by master and I was also chosen to represent him here alongside Blanc, so if you want an answer go ask him!" She said with a slight glare.
"I would if he had actually shown himself! Is he scared? So much that he sent you here? And a so called primordial that could not even win in a 2 on 1 fight?! Pfffft.... Hahahahaha" She laughed boisterously.
Blancs face that was exuding an elegant and noble bearing moments ago started to strain under Jaunes taunts.
"You are lucky he decided for whatever reason to deal with you two differently, because if you faced him, you would have been on the floor by now begging to be spared!" Blanc said.
"Oh really!? I guess I will have to go find him then won't I? Let me see if he is really as strong as everyone thinks he is! I hope he will give me an enjoyable fight. The majority of these daemons are too weak."
She then jumped up out of her seat and shot off into the distance completely disrupting the so called meeting.
"I feel sorry for her. After seeing how strong master is now for myself, he will crush her." Kali mumbled to herself.
Humming a tune and swinging her legs Violet looked to be calculating something before saying "Let the meathead run off and die for all I care, lets continue with the topic of this meeting. But first I want to know. Why is Gris not coming here and dealing with us in the same way he did you Blanc?"
"I do not know, you would be better asking this one. She seems to know something I do not."
Kali seemed surprised at Blancs observation skills and sheer intellect. "I would say that over the last few decades he seems to have come to terms with something within himself, something he was running away from before. It has made him change to a certain degree... But if you are thinking that he has weakened or that he is now soft, then more fool you."
Violet nodded lightly "Alright. Lets here this deal of yours."
---------------------
While the meeting was ongoing, somewhere deserted in the territory of Primordial Grey, a figure moving through the air at tremendous speeds was seen heading towards a specific area where there was high level fluctuations of Magic Power and Aura being used.
As the figure arrived in the air above the clearing it was revealed to be Jaune, the battle maniac. With her long blonde hair blowing in the wind, she looked down at a figure who had halted its actions with multiple weapons surrounding him and a presence that screamed danger. Jaune felt her heart beat faster for first time in her life.
"Oi! Gris! Lets see if all the hype is deserved! Do not die on me too quickly! Hahahaha!" She laughed crazily like a berserker.
She then shouted "Nuclear Flame" and a large amount of magicules in the air formed and coalesced as a mass of them kept gathering before forming what seems to be a sun-like orb in the sky as large as a mountain before Gris could move it simply exploded.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The air ceased to exist as the ground evaporated and what was left of the terrain after all Gris's years of training had now vanished. The heat built up to unbearable levels enough to burn the skin and melt bones of a human.
But the man that this attack was launched at seemed unmoved, standing eerily calmly as his weapons circled him like they were a part of his very self.
And once the explosion reached him, he moved.
----------------------
Back to the meeting at the same time:
"So-" As Blanc was currently talking through the deal with Violet they all felt it at the same time, as their table shook and the daemon subordinates they all brought could barely stay standing.
A loud explosion that must have reached most of Hell was heard and wind swept up debris while tremors were felt along the ground.
Violet turned to Kali and said in a sweet voice that was laced with hidden meanings "Lets hope he hasn't changed too much. Hehe~"
