"They can wait a little longer." She leaned in closer, her body pressing against his. "We're not finished here."
"Aren't we?" His hands came to rest on her waist, but he made no move to push her away or pull her closer. Just held her there, waiting to see what she would do.
"Not even close." Her lips found his neck, trailing kisses along the same path he'd taken on her moments before. "You started this, Lu Yuze. You don't get to walk away now."
"Is that so?" His voice was steady, but she could feel his pulse quickening beneath her lips.
"That's so." Her hands moved to his shirt, fingers working at the buttons with deliberate intent. "Let's see how you like being teased."
She kissed him then, deep and demanding, pouring all her frustration into it. Her hands roamed freely, learning the planes of his chest, the muscles of his shoulders, the warmth of his skin as she pushed the fabric aside.
