The night pressed heavy, the smell of strong liquor hanging in the air, the sound of water from the showers vent to the tiled floor, a slow, steady rhythm that matched the pounding in Louis's chest, he stood beneath the shower, warm streams sliding over his skin, trying to quiet the storm inside him, head bowed, eyes half-closed, he watched the water coil around his feet and disappear down the drain as if running away from him,
"That's how you should run from me, Nessa," he whispered. "Run… before I ruin you too," but saying it didn't ease the ache, the memory of her lingered her warmth, her pulse beneath his lips, the taste of her blood something he should never have wanted,it burned against his tongue like sin, he couldn't bring himself to accept the fact that he had tasted her, and all he could think of now was tasting her again, he pressed both palms to the cool tile, letting the water pour over him until his thoughts blurred, every time he tried to forget, her face returned: the way she'd looked at him in the elevator, the tremor in her breath, the way she'd said his name as if it belonged only to her, the time he stepped out, wrapping a towel around his waist, his reflection in the mirror already betrayed him , his eyes flickering faint silver, veins faintly a glow beneath the surface, water dripping down from his body making his body glow under the light in the rooms, complimenting his warm dark skin and revealing his rocked hard abs, his body was glorious. The images of Nessa came rushing in, the way he held her thigh that feeling, Louis bit his lower lips as he stumbled to his chaise cushioned sofa, and sank into it , his hand trembling, he could feel the control he managed to build slipping away, he dragging a hand through his damp hair, more images of her came crashing in, the way she said his lips tatsed delicious, the way she smiled, the way she looked at him inviting him to kiss her,the way her skin felt in his hands, the way she reacted to every touch of his, was maddening to him."Get it together," he muttered, though his voice shook, the control he'd built for years was slipping through his fingers, he wanted her too much, he was burning with lust, he felt his manhood hardened, the sharp pain he felt made him groan deeply, he knew wanting her was the one thing that could destroy them both, the hunger wasn't just desire; it was need, deep and dangerous, he hand moved to his hardened manhood, he could feel his body tensed and hot as he grabbed on it sending shiver down his spine, the thought of him feeling Nessa's warm thigh and the quick moan she let out made his manhood twitch, he caress his manhood slowly with the thought of Nessa's lips on his and how her hand dug his hair, the thought of the elevator scene, the smell of her sweet blood made him groan deeper, huskier, he lifted his head upward resting his neck on the sofa, he called out her name softly like a whisper, " Nessa....ne….ssa" his breathing increased, "ah nessa." He smiled at his childish behaviour as the sweet scent of her hair wrapped his nostrils, the thought of kissing her bare neeck, something snapped inside him,Louis shut his eye closed as his hand movements became faster, his body hotter, his groans huskier, his body tensed he couldn't take it anymore, he was close to his climax he called out Nessa's name as the thought of being inside her drove him to the very edge, his jaw clenched, his hand faster as he could go , her moan kept replaying in his head on and on till he exploded, he gave out quitely but a haggard sigh, he opened his eyes trying to catch his breathe. Loud buzzed coming from his phone, he brought his head down to see who it was, there and behold Nessa, he stretched his hand towards his phone but stopped midway, he couldn't bring himself to answer her as if something inside him broke, he felt guilty with his eyes fixed on the buzzing phone till it stopped ringing, then a text followed
Louis reached for his phone, thumb hovering over her name, one touch would open her message one touch, and he'd hear her voice again in his head, but he couldn't he couldn't bring himself to open her text, he dropped the phone onto the table and pushed himself up, searching for a way to quiet the ache that was eating through his chest, "I just need air," he muttered. "A drink, Something."
He rushed to his wardroom to put something on, he grabbed his car key heading toward his garage, he opened his car door got in and drove off. Hours later, the neon lights of the club washed over him in pulses of red and violet, music thudded beneath his ribs, loud enough to drown thought, but not memory, he sat alone in the VIP lounge, a glass of whiskey in his hand, watching the crowd move bodies swaying, laughter echoing, perfume and smoke tangling in the air, few women approached him smiling ,dancing in front of him their hands caress lightly on their skin doing all kind of body dance, touching and holding Louis, he tried to play along, tried to pretend her absence didn't matter, but the moment one of them brushed against his arm, something in him recoiled, the scent was wrong, the warmth wrong, nothing felt like hers, He leaned back, closing his eyes briefly. "You can all go," he said quietly. The women exchanged glances, then drifted away, when the music began to fade into background noise, Louis exhaled heavily and left, the night air outside was sharp and cool, he loosened his collar, sliding into the driver's seat of his car, for a long time, he just sat there, listening to the sound of his heartbeat, he reached for the phone again the screen lit up with her name and the message he'd avoided, Don't push me away Louis,Don't do that please, not after kissing me yesterday making me feel wanted, making me feel things I only watched in a movie, I've never felt this away about anyone Louis, so please don't push me away , let me in , let me share whatever it is your carrying please talk to me, this all I want I'm at my peek, I could go crazy if you keep pushing me away, so please don't run away from me just let me stay with you.
He read it once. Then again.
Each word cut deeper than the one before, Louis shut his eyes and let his head fall back against the seat. "If only you knew what I am, Nessa you wouldn't be so confident, you wouldn't want me to even be close to you," he whispered. "You shouldn't want to stay by my side Nessa."
But even as he said it, he felt the truth twist painfully inside him,he wanted her to want him anyway, he needed her, he wanted to be greedy and put his fear away.
