The living room looked like Shrek sneezed everywhere.
Green, blue, and neon pink slime dripped from the curtains, the couch, the wall, the ceiling fan (which was STILL spinning, spreading micro-slime like holy water).
Everyone stood frozen.
Lia: dead inside "Main bas… main bas ghar chhod ke jaa rahi hoon."
(I'm just… I'm just leaving the house forever.)
Jay: "Same girl. Let's run away and join a circus."
Kiefer and Kairav grabbed their girlfriends before they melted into the floor from stress.
Tiger enters like a disappointed father.
He stared at the slime…
At the kids holding mops…
At Angelo, who had slime in his hair shaped like horns…
At Percy, who had somehow SLIPPED and was now spread on the floor like a starfish.
Tiger: "Yeh sab… kya… hai?"
(What… is all this?)
Everyone pointed at each other.
Aries: "NOT ME."
Angelo: "I DID NOTHING."
Cindy: "I ONLY BREATHED."
Cin: "It wasn't me bro, I swear on my WiFi."
Mayo: "Wallah main toh kitchen mein tha."
(I swear I was in the kitchen.)
Josh: "Who created this alien world— WHO?!"
Then they noticed… the SLIME BUCKET.
Freya picked up the empty bucket labeled:
"SLIME EXPERIMENT—DO NOT TOUCH"
in Mica's handwriting.
Lexi: "Mica… why?"
Mica: soft voice "I wanted to see if it glows in the dark."
EVERYONE: "IT DOES??"
Mica: "Well… NOW it does."
Lights flickered and the slime across the walls lit up neon green.
Grandma Lora walks in.
Everyone goes SILENT.
She looked around at the apocalypse.
Grandma Lora: "Paagal log. Sab paagal."
(Crazy children. All crazy.)
Tiger whispers: "I told you."
The Cleanup Begins
Lia held her head. "Okay— everyone. PLEASE. Just help."
They all split into teams:
Team 1: Floor Cleaners
Jay
Kiefer
Sean
Lorenzo
Team 2: Wall Wipers
Lia
Kairav
Cindy
Mica
Rakki
Team 3: Sofa Crisis Control
Angelo
Aries
Raphael
Felix
Theo
Team 4: Ceiling Fan Volunteers
Percy
Eren
Mayo
Josh
Everyone stared at Team 4.
Jay: "Bro… ceiling fan?? Who the hell volunteers for that??"
Percy: "We didn't volunteer. They forced us."
The ceiling fan disaster
Percy climbed the step stool
Eren held it
Mayo held Eren
Josh held Mayo
A human Jenga tower.
Percy reached the slime-covered fan…
And it turned ON.
WHIRRRRRRRRRR—
Percy: "OFF OFF OFF! TURN IT OFF!"
(Turn it off!)
Instead it hit him in the forehead.
THUNK
Percy: "Meri maa…"
(My mother…)
Slime splattered straight onto Tiger's face.
Tiger: "WHO PRESSED THE SWITCH?!"
Cin: "Uhhhhh… main?"
(Me?)
Everyone gasped.
Cindy: "Cin??? YOU SPOKE HINDI???"
Tiger: "Beta… I'm so proud."
(Son… I'm proud)
Meanwhile at the Wall Cleaning Team
Mika and Rakki were wiping slime that refused to come off.
Rakki: "Ugh this is so sticky— what is this made of!?"
Mica: "Glue. Soap. Paint. Borax. Food coloring. Sparkles. A little dishwashing liquid."
Everyone turned.
Lexi: "Mica… that is not slime. That is a chemical weapon."
While scrubbing the wall, Lia froze.
Her hand slipped.
A glob of slime splatted on her clothes.
Lia: "I CAN'T. I CAN'T ANYMORE."
Kairav rushed and held her shoulders.
Kairav: "Breathe, baby. Slime won't kill you."
Lia: "IT TRIED."
Jay pulled a slime strand from her hair.
Jay: "If one more drop touches me, I'm burning this house."
Kiefer hugged her from behind.
Kiefer: "Relax. We'll clean it. And after this… we'll get milk tea."
Jay stopped struggling.
Jay: "Milk tea fixes everything."
Theo screamed.
Theo: "THE SLIME MOVED."
Everyone: "WHAT?!"
The slime on the wall slid downward… like it was ALIVE.
Angelo: "Bro… did it just wink at me?"
Ella: "Nope. I'm done. Bye."
David: "WAIT— WE SHOULD STUDY IT."
Josh: "NO BRO WE NEED TO KILL IT."
Kit: "I'm calling the priest."
Denzel: "I think it's kinda cute."
Lexi: "YOU NEED HELP".
Grandma Lora saves the day.
Without hesitation…
She walked forward
Raised her slipper
And SMACKED the slime.
SPLAT.
Everyone stared.
Grandma Lora:
"Sab drama band karo. Clean it."
(Stop the drama. Clean.)
The slime died instantly.
Everyone claps.
Tiger wiped his glasses.
Tiger: "Grandma Lora… respect."
Calix: "She defeated the final boss."
Everyone returns to cleaning.
Exhausted.
Sticky.
Traumatized.
But united.
Slime-free?
Almost.
The ceiling fan still glowed in the dark.
