Chapter 12 - Ch12-Life Saving Talisman and Karna's Three Curses(Part

Next day when Vasu woke he didn't start meditation right away but he start by seeing the reward he got last night.

"Ding"

"Sealing Technique:- It a technique Derive from another world and rectify to be more usable for host

"

Uses:-

1. You can seal your power to anyone you want it is like a part of soul that you have given to your confidant according to what there body can withstand.

2.You can give anything a space of there own which can store item (Like Naruto's sealing scroll or Cultivation world's Space Ring)

"

Seeing this reward Vasu's mind began to run as how to use this skill for maximum benifits.

So he started by making simple life saving talisman and storage ring.

He noted that on simple meterial like wood it max to max make upto Rathi Strength life saving talisman but when he used polished iron it made a maharathi rank life saving talisman and the storage was not infinity it was of 1 cubic metre but in this time where nothing like this is present it was an great achievement .

Then he calls Karna Eklavya and Kauravas, then handed them all a maharathi rank life saving talisman it was small (a button like) circular plate with superman symbol on it.

He told them how to use it and showed a little demonstration with using Karna and Duryodhana attacking each other one time when Duryodhana's mace was about to hit Karna a nearly invisible barrier came out and repel the attack and Duryodhana was sent flying back with the force he came. When Karna shot the arrow the same shield appears and the when the arrow reflected back Vasu asked Karna to press the coin shaped life saving talisman when he pressed it there was light and a figure just looking like vasu came to being hit the arrow and returned everyone was surprised and they were happy to this trumpcard and they all left.

8 YEARS LATER

He called everyone, when karna and Duryodhana arrived they asked as if they were in sync,"What happens Bhrata"

"What happened Big brother" seeing both have camethen he said " This life saving talisman is the good but I have something more important for you all now what am I telling you Listen carefully "

All the boys ears were erect and they were eager to listen what Vasu will tell them that have to called alone.

"I have the power to see destiny(future) "said Vasu. When all listened they were stunned but there question came "Brother are talking true you can really see anyone's future " once again both said in unison.

"Yes I can see but it cost me my lifespan so I don't use it often and I have seen the future a future i don't want " said Vasu in a severe tone.

"I will share it to all of you but you will not share it to anyone even not your father and mother " Vasu tone become even serious.

"Do you think why I have so much knowledge haven't i live with you all and nobody teaches me then where I got my Shastra gyan(weapon knowledge) "Vasu got the reaction he wanted from them . He started telling a mix of truth and false to make the explanation more reasoning.

" I can see my futureself and know what he knows I also know but I know it only partially. This happened suddenly on the night when I took pledge to support you to be the king of hastinapur as if it was trying to warn me from something.

I saw that after a decade there will be a war btw Kauravas and Pandavas for the throne of hastinapur in which many of Kauravas , you both died and last I didn't died but seeing you all died I also took my own life but before I could take my life I saw the sealing techniques by which I have made the Life saving talisman and it happened because of that cursed throne."

Duryodhana listening to it was dumbstruck, when he heard that even he ,Karna and many Kauravas died and even the big brother who respect it was died due to that damn Throne "With tears in his eyes he said Big brother if that throne is so cursed that all my family will be destroyed then I don't want the throne like that big brother"

Listening to what Duryodhana said even Pandavas was surprised they knew that Duryodhana was adamant of giving anything to them it was Vasu who Kept both side in check otherwse whole gurukul would have there fighting scene.

"Duryodhana O Duryodhana has you heard tof the pledge i and Karna taken for all Kauravas that time

'My King, my Father — I wish for nothing. Yet if fate allows me a choice, I pledge this: As long as there is breath in me, I shall guard your sons and your throne. I will raise Duryodhana as my own brother, protect him from those who seek to harm him, and ensure that the Kuru name never bows to humiliation.' That day I wanted to pledge to get you the throne of hastinapur but there was a feeling in my heart that if have said that I would have regret it but at night when I saw the future I was terrified. that's why I started teaching you kauravas and karna from start about how to handle the Kingdom and the politics and Dharma and do you know there a big difference is made from the future I had seen that day" with caring in his eyes.

"In that future I didn't know you until the graduation of Gurukul and you from that future was good king but was arrogant and jealous who can give his entire Kingdom to a beggar but you will not give a place to put pin to rule to the Pandavas but now see you who had learned dharma,Niti(Politics) and Shaastra(knowledge) even willing to give the your precious throne just for a future which is not confirmed " there was some tear in his eyes but he kept his emotion in check .

"And to you Karna I have nothing to say to you are a true friend to all the Kauravas even when the Dharma was on opposite side and you knew that you can be defeated but you fought with great valor "said Vasu and he was thinking about the curses given to karna and spoke unconsciously "If not for the three curses you wouldn't have died "

Today Vasu was talking openly from his heart what he has kept in his heart for Eight years.he realised from krishna that truth should have told to the person involved with some lie which helps them is good.

Karna and Duryodhana was also listening but when they Vasu stopped talking they urged him tell more .

" Those three curses curses each have there own story"said Vasu

KARNA and DURYODHANA"Please tell Bhrata(brother)"

"First Curse:-

When Karna sought a master, none would accept him. Drona Acharya, the royal guru of the Pandavas and Kauravas, turned him away:

> "A Suta Putra has no right to learn the weapons of kings. Go, serve in the stables of Hastinapur."

Those words pierced deeper than any arrow. Karna's pride, forged of sunlight and struggle, could not bear humiliation. He wandered far, until he heard of Bhagwan Parashurama — the immortal Brahmin-warrior who had conquered the Kshatriyas twenty-one times.

Parashurama was no ordinary guru. He was the son of Jamadagni, born with divine rage, a man who swore eternal vengeance against warriors (Kshatriyas). He hated all those of royal blood, believing them arrogant and corrupt.

Yet he was also the master of celestial warfare, the only one who could teach the ultimate weapons — the Brahmastra (the weapon of Brahma), the Bhargavastra, and the knowledge of universal destruction.

Karna saw his chance. But to gain this knowledge, he would need to conceal his true identity.

Standing before Parashurama, Karna folded his hands and bowed.

> "O revered guru (teacher), I am a Brahmana kumara (Brahmin boy), eager to learn the sacred art of warfare."

Parashurama, seeing his humility and brilliance, accepted him.

Days turned into months. Under the scorching sun and the shadow of tall banyans, Karna trained. He mastered the bow, the sword, the mace, and the wheel. His aim was flawless, his focus divine. Parashurama's heart softened toward the boy he believed was a Brahmin.

He would say often:

> "You are unlike any I have taught. Your spirit burns like the fire of Agni (fire god), yet your discipline is that of a sage. Remember, power is a sacred gift. Use it for dharma, never for pride."

And Karna would nod, though deep inside, he hid the storm of deception.

One afternoon, after years of intense training, Parashurama lay upon Karna's lap to rest. The forest was silent — only the hum of life and the faint scent of sandalwood filled the air. As the guru slept, a small insect — a bhrahmari (beetle) — crawled onto Karna's thigh and began to bite deep into his flesh.

The pain was unbearable, but Karna did not move. Blood flowed, and the insect burrowed deeper. Yet Karna sat motionless, fearing to disturb his master's rest.

Hours later, Parashurama awoke and saw the wound — flesh torn, blood running like a small river.

His eyes blazed with divine fury.

> "Who are you, child? No Brahmana could bear such pain in silence! Only a Kshatriya (warrior) has such endurance!"

Karna fell to his knees. Tears mixed with blood as he confessed the truth.

> "Forgive me, Bhagwan (Lord). I am not a Brahmin by birth. I am the son of a charioteer. But I wished only to learn from you, for none else would teach me."

Parashurama's wrath was like thunder rolling through the forest. His voice echoed across the sky:

> "You have deceived your guru! You wore the mask of a Brahmin to steal the art meant for the righteous. For this sin of falsehood, I curse you!"

He raised his axe toward heaven.

> "At the hour when you need your knowledge the most — when life and death hang in balance — all that I have taught you shall vanish from your memory! You will stand helpless, abandoned by your own mastery!"

Those words, sharp as arrows, pierced deeper than any wound. Karna bowed low, accepting the curse with folded hands.

> "It was my desire for greatness that blinded me, O revered one. I accept your punishment."

Parashurama's anger softened for a moment.

> "Your strength is noble, and your heart burns pure, but your path is bound to sorrow. Remember, Karna, even gods cannot escape the fruit of deceit."

This curse is not merely a punishment — it is the mirror of Karna's life.

In the Mahabharata, every curse (shraap) reflects a deeper moral truth. Parashurama's curse was not vengeance; it was fate asserting balance. Karna, though noble, sought knowledge through untruth. And so, when truth mattered most — in battle — his knowledge failed him.

In the grand design of destiny, this curse represented the conflict between merit and morality.

Karna deserved greatness. His skill was unmatched. But he sought it by bending dharma (righteous conduct). Parashurama's curse ensured that his triumph would always be shadowed by his moral burden.

Later, during the war, when Karna faced Arjuna in the final duel, this curse fulfilled itself. His Brahmastra knowledge slipped from memory, his divine weapons failed, and his chariot wheel sank into the earth.

At that moment, he realized — the seed of his defeat had been sown years ago, beneath the banyan trees of Parashurama's hermitage.
