Chapter 84 - The Shadow of Godric’s Hollow

The air of Godric's Hollow was thick with memories and regret. The night was silent except for the faint hum of ancient magic. I Apparated to the edge of the graveyard, my cloak brushing the wet grass as I approached the old headstones. The names carved into them glimmered faintly under the moonlight — Kendra, Percival… and Ariana Dumbledore.

It wasn't the grave I was interested in. It was the power bound beneath it.

I raised my wand, and the sigils of necromantic invocation glowed faintly across the ground — silver runes that pulsed like a heartbeat. Ariana Dumbledore had been an Obscurial — a host of uncontrolled, wild, destructive magic. But I wasn't here to raise a corpse. I was here to summon what remained of that magic — the fragmented, suppressed fury that had once destroyed a family.

Dark green light spiraled from my wand as I whispered the incantations of Soul Resonance Binding and Echo Reconstitution. The ground shivered. For a moment, I felt the brush of her energy — chaotic, frightened, desperate. I didn't command it; I guided it, weaving my will around hers.

And then, the magic condensed — forming the shape of a young woman standing in the mist, her hair pale, her eyes empty yet glowing faintly blue. She looked… almost alive, yet not fully mortal. An echo of a lost girl, now reforged as something far more dangerous.

Her voice trembled, soft as a memory."Who… are you?"

"I'm the one who gave you form again," I said quietly. "And you are free from what you once were. The world that broke you belongs to the past. Serve me, and I'll show you what power truly means."

She stared for a long time, confusion mixing with something that could have been awe. The Obscurial energy within her pulsed, black veins of light spreading through her ethereal skin — but it did not consume her. Not anymore. My bindings held.

With a flick of my wand, I inscribed stabilizing runes in the air. "You are not Ariana Dumbledore anymore," I said, my voice soft but absolute. "You are Arianna, the Shadow of Wrath."

The spirit bowed her head slightly, a faint whisper leaving her lips. "Yes… master."

I smiled. The experiment was a success. I had not resurrected a body — I had reclaimed a weapon, a soul's shadow reborn in controlled form. An Obscurial under my command.

I placed a hand on her shoulder, feeling the hum of her unstable magic, tamed by my design."Let's go," I murmured. "We have much work to do."

And with that, we vanished from Godric's Hollow — leaving the night to swallow the silence once again.
