Chapter 69 - The Treasures of the Founders

With the Diadem safely in my possession, I knew my next move. There were still two more of the Founders' relics hidden away in the world — Slytherin's Locket and Hufflepuff's Cup.

And I knew exactly who possessed them.

Using the knowledge from the stories I remembered, I apparated straight to Diagon Alley, moving quietly through the evening crowd until I reached a quiet side street that led toward the grand home of Hepzibah Smith — a wealthy witch and collector of magical artifacts.

Her wards were strong, but nowhere near enough to stop me. With a flick of my wand, a whispered unlocking spell slid through her defenses like a knife through silk. The door opened without a sound.

I stepped inside.

The house smelled of expensive perfume and polished wood. Hepzibah sat in her parlor, unaware. Before she could even turn, I murmured a single spell. She crumpled to the floor, unconscious.

I was careful — meticulous. I erased every memory of my presence from her mind, leaving not even a trace of intrusion. No broken wards. No alarms. Nothing that would link her to me.

Then I began to search.

It didn't take long before I found what I was looking for — locked away behind a glass cabinet reinforced with protective charms.Inside sat Slytherin's Locket, gleaming faintly with a serpentine green light, and beside it, Hufflepuff's Cup, its golden surface shining with a warm radiance that seemed almost alive.

I stared at them for a moment.Four relics of Hogwarts' founders — all now mine.

With a calm motion, I pocketed both artifacts, whispering a soft "Obliviate" over the room to blur any lingering traces of my magic. Then, without hesitation, I apparated away.

Back to Slytherin Manor.

The air shimmered as I reappeared in my hall, the artifacts safely in my grasp. Each one radiated ancient power — knowledge, legacy, and history pulsing within their cores.

And they now belonged to me.
