Faye's POV
Parker's voice sliced through the fog clouding my mind, anchoring me to the present moment. I turned toward him, fighting to keep my vision clear.
"Get me to the infirmary," I whispered.
The words felt like gravel in my throat, but speaking them seemed to calm the tempest raging beneath my skin. Something wild and untamed was building in my chest, clawing its way through my ribs until each breath came in sharp, desperate gasps. This wasn't ordinary pain anymore. It was pure energy, fierce and demanding, surging through my bloodstream like liquid fire. My entire frame trembled under its weight, and I crushed my palm against my side, hoping pressure alone might contain whatever was trying to break free.
Parker's expression grew dark with concern, but I refused to let him question me. "Move. Now."
