In the garden, sunlight trickled through the gaps in the leaves signifying a new day had begun. The light shone on the flowers revealing fresh dew sparkling on the flowers. Inside the garden silence reigned supreme bringing with it tranquillity.

"Aack. " A voice of pain could be heard in the garden followed by a body collapsing on the floor.
"That's enough for now rest up and find something to eat we still have to train in the afternoon. " A voice boomed breaking the silence of the garden. It belonged Jake Raiden, he was filling in for Kor as his son training instructor. The poor body sprawled on the floor was Izana after taking a beating from his father, he couldn't even put up a fight when he went all out.
"I see why they call this training hell mode but it's worth it plus I steal go on dungeon runs so I am getting exp points. " Izana sat his aching body under a free and opened his status page.

'Each time I level up I get stronger, faster, and my mana pool increases that is what Sage told me so I've been going at it and levelled up to two. ' It has been a week since Kor's annihilation of count Heddo and his forces and things have been progressing quickly after that. News that it was the Raidens that caused the thunderclap shook the country and many veterans new that the Raiden household has the firepower to do it. This brought both fear and awe for the Raidens.
Standing up, Izana went to his room to freshen up before having breakfast. As he was walking he bumped into William whose expression changed immediately.
"My bad, I didn't see you there. " Scratching the back of his head as he realised his mistake. Seeing his carefree expression only further infuriated William but he knew that he can't beat him in a fight. Unlike Izana William was my being trained by their father due to his average talent.
"Better watch your steps then. " William replied his voice barely containing his anger as he walked off.
Izana's expression changed to a serious one as he glared at the back of his brother. "If you want to make me think you are not jealous at least try masking you ill intent. " He walked into the dining hall and saw a packed table, every family member was around including Kor.
"Grandpa, your back. " Izana took a seat reserved for him beside Kor. "Was it really you that caused that massive thunderclap? "
"It was me alright. The soldiers thought I was a weak old man then I erased them isn't that cool! " Kor's eyes shone with excitement as he recounted what happened outside Heddo territory.
'What a scary man. ' That was the thought in Izana's mind.
"Speaking of what happened. I heard you want me to train you well u will train with another I want to start training. " Everybody's eyes were on the two of them as they watched them discuss.
'With others huh. '
"Okay grandpa Kor. "
Morning passed quickly and no other interest event happened till noon.
"Okay, I agreed to train the five of you because I want to add you five to our ranks so I will personally train you. " He stood on a raised platform as spoke to Kishira and her party members.
"Yes Sir! " They replied in unison.
"Good you all will be training with another person. He should be coming right now. " Immediately after saying this, footsteps could be heard. Kishira's party looked in anticipation. Out came out a boy with her black hair and bright yellow eyes which signifies the Raiden bloodline.
Their eyes dulled when they saw it was just a ten year old boy who may have not had his trial yet.
"Grandpa Kor is this the people I'm training with? " Izana asked as he walked to their side. "Cool a real life dwarf! " His eyes lit up as he saw the dwarf.
"Let me introduce us I am Kishira and these are my friends. The dwarf's name is Thorin, our swordsman name is Mike, our archer's name is Sarah and finally our fire mage is Sam. I am a wind mage. " She said with pride.
"My name is Izana Raiden and I am ten years old. " He gave a littlebro bow as he introduced himself.
"Now that the introductions are done time for your task and it's simple, the six of you should all come at me at once and try to damage me. Simple right. Begin. " As he said thus he stood in front of them arms wide open as if inviting them.
Mike pulled out his sword and struck but the sword slid harmlessly off a lightning barrier. Seeing as it was not going to be easy everyone join. From striking from different angle to concentrating on one spot they tried it all.
"All of you aren't trying at all. Izana what are you still keeping your element for. And you five aren't going all out. " As he said that the attacks on him from Kishira's party grew more ferocious. Izana jumped back and closed his eyes summoning a massive fireball and started condensing it. The heat distracted everyone, heads turned, the heat was felt throughout the mansion alerting everyone as they came out.
"Sam I need help condensing this. " Sam ran to meet him and help condensing it. Condensing it to the extreme limit they could.
"Aim for the center. " Kishira said as she conjured wind.
They launched it towards Kor who's grin had increased. His barrier and the fireball were competing. Cracks started appearing on the barrier but we're slowly mending.
"Not in my watch. " Kishira said as she threw her ball if wind which increased the flames ferocity finally breaking the barrier. An arrow flew past the remains and headed towards Kor but the arrow bounced harmlessly off his skin. A sword flashed from the right diagonal downwards and an axe from the left upwards but they just bounced off his skin.
Clap clap
"Nice innovation to use both fire mages to condense that fireball and make it small and deadly, the addition of the wind to increase the flames ferocity was smart and the coordinated attack from the final three was superb. You were so close so now I will increase the difficulty from ten percent to fifteen. " Immediately he said this he created a new barrier more solid than the last one.
They tried the same tactics but it did not cause a scratch at all.
"Hahaha. The real training starts now. "
