Everywhere was dark. It was a large abyss.
'Hmmm.. why is it taking so long. Gulp. I hope there was no complications during the process. '
Izana sighed
He opened his eyes and saw... A giant woman watching over him. Immediately he opened his eyes the woman picked him up and dashed with an almost inhuman speed heading for the door.
'Uwaaah why is she so fast? Wait is she trying ti kidnap me. Oh my. I can already imagine it. I reincarnated into another world only to be kidnapped. '
Out of instinct I started crying. As I cried harder the woman stopped moving entirely and looked at me. I also looked at her.
'Yeah that's right, now get your hands off me. '
I tried to moved my hand but I couldn't. None of my limbs were responding.
'W-What is wrong with me? Why can't I speak out loud? Why can't I move? And who is this woman? ' After a flurry of unanswerable questions i just kept quiet.
The woman sighed then looked at me again as if to confirm something before going into a tantrum of her own. "Young master your alive. I'm so glad. Don't ever joke like that again. "
'Of course I'm alive fool. Not that she can even hear me and it's not like I can say it to her directly in fear of being clobbered. ' Izana shivered at the thought of being beaten up by the strange woman dressed in a maid outfit. ' Is she a maid if so that means I am a child of noble blood. Hehe. '
"Young Master I need to show you to your father and grandfather. They would be happy. " The woman then stormed out of the room while carrying him
'I wonder how the old man would look like. He may be an old but wise scholar bordering close to the afterlife. Wait! will he die from shock after he sees me, oh no immediately as I'm reincarnated I will cause the death of a family member. Father is probably going to be a fat dignified noble whom indulges in a lot of lavish frivolities. He probably has a dozen wives. Not gonna blame him though it's not like I even had a girlfriend. ' Izana sighed — in his mind of course — trying to shake off the foul mood he giggled which made the woman look at him again happily.
As they arrived at their destination, Izana was stunned at the grand hall that looked to big for humans. 'Wait! Did I maybe reincarnate as the son of a high ranking noble? '
In the grand hall two men were having a serious discussion Izana couldn't hear when they turned to look at him and the woman and started walking towards them. 'They may be the guards of this place. '
"Greetings Master, Old master. I am sorry to interrupt whatever you where discussing but I come with good news. " She presented Izana forward. " Master Jake this is your son. " The woman dropped a bombshell which shook Izana greatly. As he looked at his father and grandfather he saw in their eyes shock.
'Crap. '
"Eiselda, I hope this isn't a joke. " The first man — Jake — said. He was muscular like a bodybuilder and very tall, towering over the woman. His yellow eyes were sharp like a hawk and he radiated a powerful presence which scared the daylight out of Izana. His short raven black hair and the aura radiating from him gave him the impression of an experienced military general not a snotty noble.
"Hahaha, Jake my boy you never seize to amaze me hahaha. Obviously he is your son look at those yellow eyes only a Raiden can have those eyes. " The second man reprimanded father for his nonchalant tone. The man was muscular not as much as the first man. He had a carefree expression on his face, he didn't leak out any aura like father but hidden in his yellow eyes was a boundless abyss of power. He is more powerful than father.
"Look at me little boy I'm your grandpa Kor. " grandpa Kor playfully petted Izana as he smiled. "Say Eiselda where is the mother. " Izana perked up his ears as this was one of the most important questions he had.
"His mother is Lady Vienna. " This time grandpa Kor shook slightly. Dad had a deadpan expression.
'Who is Vienna? ' Izana wondered as he shifted to a more comfortable position to eavesdrop, he regretted that decision though. "Lady Vienna delivered before she left and gave him to me to cater to him.
Izana was shocked again by this revelation but then that shock turned into anger. Why do they always abandon him. First in his old world and bow in his new one. He was torn apart by this revelation but he couldn't do anything to resist fate.
'Fate is a bastard! I'm going to become strong strong enough to go against the tide of fate and choose my own lifestyle. ' Izana was determined to become strong. As he was thinking, the discussion had already moved past his mother and entered idle chatter.
"Eiselda thank you for showing me and my father my son. Me and my father have work related matters to attend to so you are dismissed for now. " Jake said
"Thank you master. I shall take my leave. " She replied and left the hall with the boy.
"To think i have a new grandchild. I am so emotional now. Hahaha. " Kor smiled and turned his attention to the matters at hand.
