Chapter 570 - Chapter 242: It's Like Another Rhode Has Arrived

A new member has joined the guild, but given the special circumstances and anxious state, it really wasn't the time for a big celebration.

Fairy Tail missed out on a feast.

Mira asked a bit about Ginanna's situation and, after confirming that even the President didn't know much, poured herself some juice, grabbed some snacks, and went off to chat with Ginanna herself.

So Ginanna, having just become 'same-age' friends with Wendy, immediately met Mira, a gentle older sister who's only a year younger than her.

This chaotic relationship is really quite wonderful.

"President, where did Kildas go?" Rhode asked, "He didn't smash the Council and get detained, did he?"

"How's that possible." Makarov said disdainfully and enviously, "He said on his way back from the Council, he might as well stop by Blue Pegasus for a bit of fun."

Rhode: "..."

The direction's completely different, how's that passing by!

Actually, Makarov also wanted to visit old friends at Blue Pegasus, but he had to be responsible for bringing Ginanna back to the guild, so he naturally couldn't go with Kildas.

"Oh, right, there's something else. For the upcoming S-Class exam, I plan to... well, I'll talk about it later. Best not to leave the area these days."

Makarov looked at Rhode for a while, sighed, and went upstairs with his hands behind his back.

He initially thought Rhode had a good chance of success in this S-Class exam, and another S-Class Mage would join the guild, only for the Council to throw him a curveball.

What if Rhode passed the Ten Wizard Saints Magic Power assessment but didn't pass the S-Class exam?

Are Ten Wizard Saints in Fairy Tail not worthy of an S-Class title? That's also quite...

Amusing.

As Makarov stepped onto the second floor, he felt a sense of clarity; if that happened, he'd have plenty to brag about at the routine meetings.

At one point, he even thought mischievously about making the exam a bit harder this time.

As for the Council's opinion, who cares what they think, Fairy Tail has always done things its way.

But he worried that doing so would make other kids wait another year because of his whim; Makarov really couldn't do that.

Since the specific test time wasn't set yet, he would surprise Rhode later.

"Don't leave things half-said..." Rhode realized he was getting his comeuppance; he teased Mira earlier in the morning and now he was left hanging by the President in the afternoon.

If it were someone else doing this, Rhode would've punched and asked all the questions during the hit.

"Hello, I am Ginanna."

With the help of Mira and Wendy Charuru, Ginanna seemed a bit more relaxed, her voice not as soft as it was when she first arrived as she spoke to Rhode.

"Hello, I am Rhode, Mira's..."

Ginanna quickly answered, "Fiancé Gina!"

"You know?"

"Miss Mira just mentioned it Gina."

Rhode glanced at Mira, who stood behind Ginanna smiling, and continued to ask, "Do you know what fiancé means?"

Ginanna blushed slightly, "It's... it's a future husband Gina, who will have little babies with Miss Mira."

"Ha-have babies..." Wendy blushed as she was overwhelmed.

Rhode looked at Mira in surprise; had their conversation gone that deep?

Mira's face was a bit red too, defending, "I didn't teach her that."

Rhode thought about it and it made sense; a nine-year-old knows quite a bit.

Mira was worried he might be thinking bad things and quickly said, "Take out the emblem, I'll help Ginanna get her guild emblem."

"Okay."

Mira shook the emblem in her hand and asked, "This is the guild's symbol, where would Ginanna like it?"

"Where did Miss Mira put hers Gina?"

"Mine is on my leg." Mira pointed to the position of her emblem, though it was currently covered by clothes and not visible at all.

Ginanna looked around and felt it inappropriate to take off her pants for the emblem, hesitated, then stretched out her hand, "Can it be on my hand Gina?"

"Of course."

"Huh?" Rhode showed a puzzled expression.

Mira looked at him, "What's wrong?"

"This..." Rhode looked at the bracelet Ginanna was wearing and then at Mira's wrist.

Ginanna happily displayed it, "Miss Mira gave it to me Gina!"

That was a bracelet Mira used to like wearing, now she most frequently wore the one Rhode gave, but today she had just taken it out to match her clothes.

There was another one at home of different colors; she thought she might take it out to wear recently, which should make Ginanna feel more personable, helping ease her nerves faster.

Back when she took care of Rhode, Mira also did similar small gestures, though she's unsure if he noticed.

Mira looked at Rhode, wondering if it was effective...

Rhode chatted with Ginanna for a bit, then asked Mira, "How should we settle Ginanna in?"

Mira said, "For now, she can work as a waitress in the tavern, interacting with everyone can help her learn, and in time, I'll slowly teach her knowledge, then she'll learn magic later."

"Sounds familiar." Rhode laughed, feeling Ginanna was like a copy of himself.

Mira also laughed out loud, finding such experiences quite marvelous:

"For accommodation, we can arrange for her in the girls' dormitory, Qico agreed to help by setting up a room, and Wendy and Carla said they'd take good care of her, Miss Laki also offered to help."

Actually, as long as the girls staying at the dorm understood Ginanna's situation, they would generally pitch in to help.

If some unknowing uncle in the guild recklessly bothers Ginanna, he'd certainly be pummeled by this group of girls.

In this way, even if she's entrusted to Mira's care, it mostly requires her just to show a bit more concern.

The sun gradually set, and Ginanna, who wasn't yet on the job, was already having an employee meal.

Ginanna, with her slightly problematic psychological age, gobbled fiercely, then looked at others a bit embarrassed after feeding herself full, "Sorry, I've never tasted anything this delicious Gina."

Miss Laki laughed, "Don't mind it, if anything this is more like Fairy Tail."

Carla had a differing opinion on Ginanna's education, "I still think you should mind it a bit, how about teaching her some table manners starting tomorrow?"

"Literacy and literature are more important, aren't they?" Miss Laki said, "Developing hobbies is also crucial."

Rhode said, "Hmm... best not to cultivate hobbies like yours."

Miss Laki indignantly protested, "What's wrong with my hobbies? You have no idea how adorable they are!"

"..." Rhode looked at her silently; wouldn't he know? I even helped design them, didn't I?

Miss Laki seemed to read his mind, "Then you should understand their charm!"

Wendy meekly raised a hand, "I support Brother Rhode."

She had visited Miss Laki's room and was almost scared to tears that day.

With few to support her, Miss Laki conceded defeat.

Ginanna didn't get what they were talking about, wondering what's wrong with Miss Laki's hobbies?
