Chapter 543 - Chapter 216: The 3.5th Dragon Slayer Mage

"That's the situation. Take the medicine to restore your magic." Rhode handed each a pill to Reby, Jet, and Troy.

The three swallowed the pills without hesitation.

Jet said a bit displeased, "So we were saved by Gajeel."

Troy suggested, "Let's thank him later. Should we go help destroy the Magic Crystal?"

Reby stopped them, "Don't act recklessly. Rhode said that only Dragon Slayer Magic can work."

Hearing this, Jet and Troy quieted down. "Then what should we do?"

"Calm down the residents, tell them we'll find a way to get everyone back. If anyone else comes to ask, help explain the situation. Also, enemies might attack, so protect the civilians."

Rhode had already repeated the same thing to several groups, and now it was their turn to spread the word.

He just hoped Wolian and Marcus could appear soon to save a lot of trouble.

"Ah~~~ I wish it could be broken by Gray-sama~~~"

A strange voice came over, and everyone turned their heads, seeing Jubia entangled with Gray.

Gray looked helpless.

Some common people nearby glanced at Jubia with odd expressions and also glanced at Rhode and the others.

Rhode really wanted to loudly declare he didn't know her.

"Yo~" Kildas strode over to Rhode, his black cloak gently fluttering, his aura no less than before.

Although this uncle's face was slightly red and swollen, possibly pinched by someone, his spirit remained high.

Rhode had noticed earlier a large section suddenly cleared from the peak, thinking such a powerful magic power should be from the President, but it turned out to be Kildas.

But it made sense.

"Even you got caught, huh."

"Hahaha..." Kildas scratched his head, laughing loudly, "Didn't expect to lose face like this just after returning to the guild."

"Kildas, are you alright?" Mira noticed Kildas and immediately ran over. This unassuming uncle had watched her grow up, and she cared a lot.

"Other than being unable to use magic, I'm completely fine."

Erza also ran over, smiling from the heart, "Kildas, with you here, we feel much more at ease."

Lisana finally couldn't help but join, "Kildas, long time no see!"

"Long time no see, Lisana." Kildas casually waved to Lisana, then suddenly looked shocked, "Lisana?! You, you..."

Lisana smiled and nodded, "Yes, I'm still alive~"

Kildas pointed at Lisana, then at Mira, then at Natsu on the mountain, and finally at himself, "It must be Natsu tricking me!"

"No, actually..."

Lisana took Kildas aside to talk.

Mira and Erza pulled Rhode aside, "We think it's better not to give Kildas the medicine for now."

"Why?" Rhode looked at Mira, pondering. She shouldn't hold a grudge.

Mira rolled her eyes and explained, "Because this is the Floating Island, if Kildas isn't careful... Magnolia might be doomed."

Erza added, "Generally, when he sees the enemy, he focuses, reducing unnecessary destruction."

"...Sounds reasonable." Although Rhode hadn't seen Kildas's destructive power firsthand, he trusted Mira and Erza's judgment.

Mira sighed, "But his fighting style is troublesome, let's just have him handle the counterattack."

Erza nodded, "That is indeed the most suitable."

Rhode wasn't too familiar with Kildas's personality and asked, "Will he follow our plan?"

Mira replied, "No problem. Often, just like most guild members, tell Kildas where to go, who to fight, and to what extent."

"..." Rhode thought of the guild's reckless bunch, truly birds of a feather flock together.

Thud, thud, thud...

The three suddenly heard the heavy footsteps of the Cyan Engraved Golem, spotting Wendy sitting in its arms, slowly walking over.

Rhode stared at this scene, a bit dazed. Was it Annie or Nunu?

"Sorry, Brother Rhode," Wendy panted, "I'm out of magic power."

Wendy's magic power was far less than Natsu's or Gajeel's. Even with the Crown of Insight, she had to take breaks.

"It's okay, you've done great." Rhode looked around. Wendy had almost recovered an entire street.

Lucy, Reby, and Jubia were already helping to calm down the residents, while Goodman led the distribution of weapons and armor to the people.

Progress was still a bit slow.

Hm?

Rhode brightened up seeing the busy Lucy.

"Lucy!" he called.

In the distance, Lucy pointed to herself as if asking if he meant her.

"Come over for a bit!" Rhode shouted and waved her over.

Lucy jogged over, "What's up?"

"I was thinking, if we could have one more Dragon Slayer Mage, the efficiency would be higher."

Lucy paused, "Ah?"

Rhode patted her shoulder, "So let Gemini out, transform into Natsu!"

First, Lucy realized, then hesitated, "Can't do it, impossible."

"Why?"

"Because Gemini can't transform into someone with much more magic power than me. With Natsu or Gajeel..." Lucy sighed, "Impossible."

"..." Rhode knew this, but it seemed the gap between Lucy and Natsu was bigger than he thought.

Lucy added, "Maybe try Wendy, but Gemini's transformation lasts only 5 minutes, for such a large mountain..."

"That works too, one more Wendy and more power... But we need Wendy's consent."

Lucy immediately went to discuss with Wendy, who agreed without hesitation.

However, Carla demanded Gemini not disclose any information about Wendy's memories or thoughts to anyone.

"No problem!"

"Zappy~ zappy~"

"Besides enemies, we're only interested in leaking Lucy's information~"

"Yes, like height, weight, measurements, meal portions, recent weight gain."

"Hey!!!"

Gemini and Minnie chatted about ridiculous things, making Lucy want to forcibly close the gate and send them back.

Wendy also covered her chest, whispering, "I regret a little too."

Amid a cheerful atmosphere, another person joined the effort to restore the Magic Crystal. Though resting every 5 minutes, it all sped up the process a bit.

Thanks to the Dragon Slayer Mages and the Crown of Insight's support, Magnolia had largely recovered on this Floating Island.

Fairy Tail mages emerged by the dozens.

To Rhode's delight, Natsu had brought out the Thunder God Tribe, and Fried was already inscribing techniques around.

A technique surrounding the entire town was within Fried's capability, and he was very proficient.

After arranging Fried, as Rhode was about to speak to Ibarglin, she claimed to know a bit about techniques and could help Fried, swiftly slipping away.

Rhode felt Ibarglin seemed a bit afraid of him.

In the midst of busyness, Carla suddenly flew over to warn Rhode, "Someone's approaching! About a hundred!"
