Chapter 460 - Chapter 147: Stalker

The Thunder God Tribe's injuries recovered quickly, basically, after two days of rest, they could move freely.

As long as it's not a very intense battle, it shouldn't have any influence.

Just in time, the compensation bills from the city have also been sent over, and Rhode has calculated them.

The three took a look at the amounts and immediately decided to start working.

"Why don't you go help at the church first," Rhode suggested, "There aren't any high-paying jobs recently."

During the Harvest Festival, many people in the Guild have spent all of their meager savings, and there are even some who have ended up in debt due to fighting on the streets.

So these days, the high-paying tasks in the Guild are quite in demand. With their strength, taking those tasks of tens of thousands isn't interesting, and picking tasks worth millions isn't safe as their injuries haven't healed properly.

It would be better to go to the construction site and do some work to show some apology. During the period, they could also return to the Guild to rest and repair relationships with everyone.

"What do you think?" Fried asked Ibarglin and Biguslo for their opinions.

Ibarglin was a bit too shy to look at Rhode: "I...I don't mind."

"I have no problem either," Biguslo said, and the five small puppets around him kept repeating.

"No problem!"

"No problem!"

Chattering away noisily.

Rhode waved his hand dismissively: "Then hurry up and go, I'll keep an eye out for suitable tasks for you, these little ones are really too noisy."

Expressing disdain straightforwardly, without thinking too much about it.

After all, the people in the Guild rarely avoid approaching others just because they express disdain.

If that were the case, Lucy wouldn't have to fret over people barging into her home so often.

Today, as usual, Lucy complained to Mira the moment she got to the Guild, saying that Natsu and Hapi made a mess of her place again yesterday.

Not only that, but just as she was finally going to chase those two out the door, Gray bumped into Natsu at the entrance.

The two of them started fighting without a second word.

"Oh dear, isn't your place in terrible condition?" Mira was a bit worried whether Lucy's rented house might get torn down.

"Although the house wasn't torn down, Natsu snatched Gray's pants and threw them out the window, and then... Gray ran out all naked to fetch his pants..."

Lucy didn't know whether to laugh or cry; a single girl's home suddenly had a naked man run out, she wondered how her landlady would think of her.

Mira felt a bit sorry for Lucy, but it didn't stop her from covering her mouth and laughing: "Lucy is really popular, both Natsu and Gray like going over to your place."

Lucy turned her head sharply to confirm that she wasn't being watched by Jubia, and then she heaved a sigh of relief:

"It's not about being popular, Gray was looking for Loki, which is why he came to my house... Do they have a good relationship?"

"Yes, Gray often teamed up with Loki before."

"Huh? Does that mean Loki will ditch me to team up with someone else again?" Lucy looked around, "No wonder I haven't seen the two of them."

The word "again" made Lucy's heart ache, obviously one of the best combat-type Star Spirits in the Zodiac, yet he always went to team up with others.

"But they didn't come to take on any tasks, maybe they have other things to deal with." Mira flipped through the record book and confirmed there was no task record for the two.

"What could it be for..." Lucy wondered, suddenly hugging herself, "It wouldn't be something perverted, right? Lately, I keep feeling like someone's watching me."

Mira waved her hand with a smile: "It's okay, I often feel like that too."

Lucy complained: "That's because someone's really watching you... like your fiancé and fans or something."

"Well, well, well..." Mira didn't argue.

Lucy spread her hands and said: "I don't have a boyfriend, nor am I as popular as Miss Mira, but walking down the street I still feel like someone's watching me all the time."

Hapi excitedly chimed in, "I know, this is what's called excessive self-awareness."

"That's not it!"

"Natsu, Lucy's being overly self-aware!"

Today, Natsu wasn't messing around with everyone else but was earnestly looking at the bulletin board.

When Hapi flew over and Lucy chased to explain, he seriously asked, "Are you guys still chatting? It's about time to get ready for work, right?"

Lucy and Hapi wore shocked faces: "Natsu's the one suggesting going to work!"

Natsu was puzzled and asked, "Hapi, why are you so surprised? Haven't I always been working hard?"

"While that's true, lately it's either Lucy fretting about rent or Erza dragging you and Gray to work."

Natsu immediately retorted, "I wasn't dragged by Erza!"

Hapi casually replied, "I know."

"I wanted to work, that's why I went!"

"I know."

"Hapi!" Natsu was ready to start a fight again.

Nabu, who was also looking at the bulletin board, complained, "You guys are so noisy."

"Seems like it can't be relied on..." Lucy spread her hands and decided to choose for herself.

Looking over the tasks one by one, she wasn't in a hurry to decide, knowing that Rhode would soon be posting new task sheets.

However, instead of Rhode, it was Marcus that Lucy awaited.

He was there to post the final rankings for the Miss Fairy Tail Contest.

Mira won first place by a slight margin of only a few votes.

Erza was second, and Lucy was third.

Following them were Jubia, Kana, Bisca, and Reby.

Actually, Lidas had drawn an extra special poster of the winner this morning, depicting Mira in a bunny girl costume playing the guitar.
