Rhode isn't particularly a gossip person, and since Mira has 'abducted' Lucy to keep her quiet, he'll just wait for Mira to return, and ask other girls right in front of her.
When she frantically tries to stop him, he can mention a harmless little condition.
As for what Mira actually told them doesn't matter much anymore; it's more important what happens next.
Over the next week, Lucy finds herself alone again.
Because after getting beaten up, Natsu started special training, and Gray has to take care of Jubia until the Harvest Festival.
Erza, having been dealt a blow recently and learning of Jellal's capture, is understandably a bit down.
She's chosen to alleviate this by designing new armor and hasn't been coming to the guild much since the pajama party.
These days, Lucy often finds herself brooding in front of the bulletin board but hasn't found a task that she fancies and is almost becoming another Nabu.
It's not her fault she's picky, given the approaching Harvest Festival, everyone's preparing for the 'short vacation.'
The tasks with better cost-performance have already been picked out, and those newly posted each day are quickly snatched up.
Lucy hesitates, and her actions are slow; twice, she saw tasks that she could barely take on, but a moment's hesitation led others to grab them first.
She can't compete with others since she hasn't firmly decided to take them.
"Ahhh... what am I going to do about my rent..." Lucy worriedly bangs her forehead on the counter repeatedly.
If there were a bed, she'd probably be rolling around on the floor by now.
Mira just took someone's empty glass, rinsed it in the sink, and handed Lucy a drink, asking, "Didn't find a job you like again?"
"Actually, I did, but I can't do it alone." Lucy has recently enjoyed doing those hunting tasks, eradicating evil.
But to go alone, she simply lacks the confidence.
"When will I be able to summon all my Celestial Spirits at once, like Mr. Rhode, a one-person army."
"Doesn't Celestial Spirit Magic allow for summoning multiple Star Spirits?", Mira said, "Lucy just needs to try a little harder."
"It's not that easy, being able to open two gates at once for a Star Spirit Mage is already rare."
Mira wondered, "Really? But last time Rhode and I encountered a Star Spirit Mage who could open two gates at once."
"What?", Lucy sat up straight, asking, "Really? What kind of person was it?"
"Since she wore a cloak and covered her face, we couldn't see properly." Mira said, "We only know it's a girl using Gemini from the Gemini Constellation and Scorpio from the Scorpio Constellation."
Lucy exclaimed, "Having two Zodiac keys!"
Mira didn't understand her surprise, "You have more, right? Aquarius, Taurus, Virgo, Giant Crab, Sagittarius, and Leo; Lucy has half of the Zodiac to herself."
"True, true..." Lucy smiled awkwardly, greedily saying, "Actually, if possible, I want to collect all twelve keys."
"So greedy~" Mira smiled, suggesting, "But if you want to collect keys, just ask Loki where the other keys are, don't you think?
You might even figure out what kind of person that Star Spirit Mage is."
Lucy shook her head, "No way, the personal information protection law applies in the Star Spirit Realm too, Loki can't tell me all that."
"The magazine's out!"
"This issue is a Fairy Tail special!"
"All those interviewed are featured!"
Marcus rushed in, holding a magazine, waving and shouting excitedly, like a newspaper vendor on the street.
Those nearby immediately surrounded him.
"Where is it?"
"Wow, they used our guild photo as the cover!"
"Actually, I was really hoping they'd use Mira's photo for the cover."
"What are you thinking? Now, if it were to be used, it would probably only be Mira and Rhode's photo together."
"You could cut Rhode out."
"Stop bickering and find me!"
"Check mine first!"
A noisy crowd pushed in; those who could fit joined Marcus in looking, while those who couldn't listened to the comments, trying to squeeze in.
Some couldn't wait and ran out to buy a copy themselves.
A magazine featuring everyone together is a great memento worth buying one to collect.
"I also want to check if there's a report about me..." Lucy eyed the crowd in the tavern and gave up on squeezing in, "Miss Mira, aren't you curious?"
"I'm okay with it."
"Ah, forgot you're a regular at Sosala, being reported by a magazine isn't surprising."
"No, this time I am a bit excited." Mira wanted to know if there would be a photo from the day she and Rhode were together,
"Even if I can't see it now, Rhode went out to replenish supplies, he'll definitely bring back a copy."
"That's true!"
But Mira guessed wrong; when Rhode returned, he brought back three magazines.
"This one is for collection." One magazine disappeared from Rhode's hand.
"This one is for lending to others." The second magazine got handed to Lucy.
"And this one we read ourselves." Rhode immediately turned to the most important page, pulling Mira close to look.
After all, it's only 300J each, roughly the price of a drink; buying a couple of extra copies doesn't hurt.
"This photo actually got published." Mira happily looked at the picture in the magazine; recording the proposal scene this way should be a rather romantic thing.
The photo captured the moment Rhode had successfully proposed and just lifted Mira up.
Rhode's hand wrapped around Mira's waist, slightly raising his head to look into her eyes.
Mira's feet lightly kicked back, her upper body slightly leaned back, both hands on Rhode's shoulders, looking down at him.
Her face showed a hint of blush, a happy smile at the corners of her mouth, while Rhode's face was full of joy, his eyes spoke endless love.
Honestly, Jason certainly deserves the title of ace reporter with his fantastic capturing skills.
But the credit certainly isn't Jason's, Rhode whispered to Mira, "Look at my fiancée, isn't she beautiful? Just a simple tweet captures such a perfect photo."
Mira tilted her head away slightly from him; this rascal always takes the chance to blow air into her ears.
She pointed at Rhode in the picture, "Look at my fiancé…" thinking for a moment, she continued, "Doesn't my fiancé look silly when he smiles?"
"What silly? It's clearly charming."
"It's silly."
"Say that again?" Rhode threateningly placed his hand on her side, threatening to tickle her.
Mira didn't change her stance at all, "It's silly!"
But she likes it, really likes it, loves it very much.
