Chapter 407 - Chapter 115: Loki Is Back Again

"So many this time?"

Mira took the guild quest list that Rhode brought back.

"Yeah, it's a special time. We need to give the dark guilds the harshest blow."

"Then hurry up and post them," Mira said, taking some papers to rewrite the list into formal request sheets.

"Sister Mira, upstairs wants a roast chicken and a dozen beers!" Laki waved from the second floor.

Ever since the guild was rebuilt, the rule prohibiting casual visits to the second floor was abolished; the president believed such rules hindered communication among guild members.

Of course, the S-Class tasks posted on the second floor still require an S-Class Mage to lead the team to accept them.

"Got it!" Rhode answered for Mira and went directly to pour the beer.

As soon as he got upstairs, he was met with Wolian's discontent: "Why is it you? We want to see the girl servers..."

Rhode heavily placed the beer on the table: "Aren't you a bit too blatant?"

"How is that my fault? Look at Laki, and Sally and Iz, in the new uniforms," Wolian complained. "Besides just the opening week, the uniforms are only worn twice a week. Who wants to see you?"

He always lets everyone hear his thoughts when he's excited, so he might as well speak plainly.

"..." So there's a rule like this. Rhode learned something new, though he still looked down on Wolian.

"Roast chicken for table 3 on the second floor."

This time, a girl's voice spoke up, and Wolian hadn't even had time to distinguish who it was before staring straight over, quickly sitting up formally.

Rhode listened to the familiar voice and glanced back: "Erza?"

"You came back?" Erza placed down the tray and gave Wolian a professional smile.

"Th-thank you!" Wolian's eyes wandered, but his body sat upright, not daring to move.

Seeing her working as a server here, Rhode wasn't too surprised: "You're actually on the job?"

"The new uniforms are cute, so I decided to do some part-time work." Erza spun around confidently and showed herself off. "How's that? Mira said if I work for a week, I get this outfit."

Just in time, her usual armors were damaged by Jellal and sent for repair. Doing a few days of part-time work was not bad.

Rhode suddenly realized it was Mira's tricky...cunning idea. He raised his thumb: "It suits you well, keep at it."

Frankly, Erza was indeed pretty, at least not less than Mira.

So Rhode chose to go downstairs to accompany Mira.

"Aren't you going to check the backyard pool?" Mira said while writing, addressing Rhode, "The swimming pool is open, and Reby, Lucy, and Bisca are playing there, in their swimsuits~"

Rhode took a pen and paper and joined her in writing. Mira started from the top of the list, while he started from the bottom.

He said seriously: "I'm not interested in swimsuits."

"Really?" Mira didn't believe him, unsure who was staring wide-eyed a few days ago.

"Yes," Rhode nodded, adding, "Unless it's you wearing it."

Mira pondered: "Then... should we change future physical training to swimming?"

Rhode immediately agreed: "Yes, yes, yes!"

Mira rolled her eyes; what would be the point of training then?

She stuffed the completed request sheets into Rhode's hands: "Go post them up quickly."

Rhode went to the bulletin board and found the usual NPC there: "Nabu, busy?"

"Ah, of course." To Nabu, standing there reading request sheets was being busy.

Rhode posted all the sheets at the highest spot; tackling the dark guilds wasn't child's play, although many weren't well-equipped, each one was dangerous.

If anyone comes to take them later, he'll need to remind them to form a good team.

Upon returning to the counter, watching the pretty girl servers in new uniforms walking back and forth, Rhode suddenly said: "Should I quit the server job?"

Mira asked: "Why?"

"Anyway, there's enough manpower now, and I don't quite fit in among you all."

Mira thought for a moment, then tapped her palm: "I got it, because everyone's wearing uniforms and you aren't, right?"

"Is that the issue?"

"Why not try wearing one?" Mira took out a paper bag.

It seemed she had prepared it in advance.

Rhode took out the clothes inside; it was the same red as hers.

Then, when he unfolded the clothes, not only were the colors the same, but the style was identical.

Holding the little skirt in front of himself, he said helplessly: "Are you sure you want me to wear this?"

"Just try it a bit," Mira laughed, covering her mouth.

"..." Rhode folded the clothes back up and put them away, flicking her forehead with his finger, who wanted to try such a thing.

Mira, rubbing her forehead, smiled: "Actually, originally I planned to order one for you, but I thought why not just swap for a suit and play 'manager' here."

"That's a good idea." Rhode thought since he handled most of the guild affairs and dealt with calculations and financials, being 'manager' sounded pretty nice.

That also meant a formal promotion; he'd later check the guild's business and maybe raise his salary... Mira had thought it through.

"Then let's discuss it with the president later," Mira smiled brightly. She felt it suited Rhode, which was why she wanted to arrange it this way.

The two finished copying and posting the last few tasks.

Kana ripped off a task sheet just posted: "I'll take this one."

Mira asked: "You're going alone?"

Kana shrugged: "That dark guild only has nine people, right?"

Her strength was enough to handle such small guilds, but Mira worried she'd suffer if drunkenly careless: "Best team up with someone, just to have support."

"There's no time to find someone, I'm rushing to earn money for liquor..." Kana glanced at Rhode, "How about lending me your boyfriend for a few days?"

Rhode sighed: "Talk like that and you'll get punched."

"Who'll be punched, me or you?" Kana teased.

"Stop it, Rhode's pretty busy lately, he needs a good rest," Mira advised, "Seriously consider who to team up with."

Kana looked troubled.

A familiar voice chimed in: "Team up with me?"

Everyone looked over; a handsome guy in a green jacket with glasses was greeting them: "Yo! Everyone's lively. The guild's completely different."

"Loki?" The three exclaimed in surprise, "Is your body okay?"

"A little rest in the Star Spirit Realm and I'm fine," Loki said nonchalantly, "Originally wanted to settle a girlfriend situation, but since Kana has trouble, I can't ignore it."

Kana asked: "But aren't you Lucy's Star Spirit now? Teaming up with me, will Lucy manage?"

"Though I'm a Star Spirit, I'm also a Mage of Fairy Tail." Loki smiled,

"Lucy won't have issues since I come using my own magic power to the human realm, so it doesn't affect Lucy's ability to summon other Star Spirits."

"Then it's settled." Kana easily accepted his reason, asking Mira: "How about Loki and I team up?"

Mira glanced at Rhode; Rhode swung a punch, aiming for Loki's face.

Loki easily raised a hand to block.

Rhode increased the force slightly, but Loki didn't budge, and his hand started glowing gold.

The two mutually withdrew their hands.

"You went from possession element to ability element." Rhode smiled. "Are you stronger than before?"

Loki chuckled: "What I used before was mass-produced rings, now you could say I've regained my power."
