The slogan of the Four-headed Hound seemed to have some kind of magic power; after shouting it, Loka felt full of confidence, certain of victory.
Brother Baggs is so strong, defeating Fairy Tail's S-Class mage is no problem.
And I won't disappoint Brother Baggs, I'll let that assistant have a taste of my Rock Drill Fist.
"Here they come." Baggs sat cross-legged to show respect, casually placing the wine gourd aside, "It's you indeed, Erza."
"Fairy Queen?!" Loka's confidence wavered slightly.
Rhode and Erza jumped off the River Crab and walked side by side towards the two members of the Four-headed Hound.
Seeing the little blondie's reaction, Rhode felt a tinge of envy for Erza's reputation.
Showing up and making the enemy falter three parts makes the fight much easier.
"Baggs, long time no see." Erza said with a stern face, "It seems you haven't made much progress."
"No, we're about to." Baggs took a few gulps from the gourd, jumped up, and struck a combat stance, "I will defeat you here and make you give up the mission."
Is he going to use the Drunken Fist? Rhode stepped forward and said, "I object, if we fight here, what if we encounter an enemy later?"
Erza nodded seriously, "That's right, what we mean is that we should complete the mission first, and if you're still not satisfied then, we can settle the score."
Loka thought there was some sense in what they said, "Brother Baggs..."
"No more talking, if we resolve this cleanly, there will be no issues!" Baggs took two more swigs of wine, his face turning red, "Are you... hic... scared?"
Such a clumsy taunt. Erza shook her head lightly, "Seems like he's not listening anymore."
This situation was anticipated. Their plan was indeed to settle the fight quickly if the other party couldn't be reasoned with.
Considering the relationship between the two guild leaders, Rhode gave one last reminder:
"I hope you haven't forgotten, this is considered a team match. If a fight breaks out, don't blame us for using numbers against you."
Loka felt offended, "Who are you looking down on? We also have two people on this side!"
"No, I mean, we have more than just two 'people' on our side."
Rhode waved his hand and a River Crab, two Toads, five Shadow Wolves, and twelve Beaked Birds appeared from behind the cliff, surrounding the four people and one crab.
Among them was a lone Warm thrown in for numbers.
"Now it's 24 against 2. I still suggest completing the task before determining the victor. By then, I might not summon so many creatures to help, how about it?"
A horde of wild creatures gathered together, although some didn't look strong, their quantity brought an intimidating momentum that was terrifying enough.
Those two-headed giant wolves and toads taller than a person looked like trouble just by appearance.
Loka was feeling a bit guilty, "Brother Baggs, this guy seems to be the Beast Tamer the guild leader warned us about."
"Ahahaha! No matter how many of these there are, it's useless!" Baggs charged forward, heading straight for Rhode,
"It's just Summoning Magic; as long as we take down the mage!"
Intimidation doesn't work on drunkards. Rhode noted this knowledge point with a dark expression, as a Stone Beetle emerged to take him underground.
"Requip: Heaven's Wheel Armor!" Erza stepped out horizontally to shield Rhode, "Celestial Wheel: Chaotic Sword!"
Dozens of Flying Swords materialized around Erza, shooting in waves toward Baggs.
Rhode had already sunk underground, but through the River Crab's perspective, he could see Baggs dodging each Flying Sword attack unsteadily.
His body swayed, feet erratic, sometimes lying flat on the ground, flipping over, and jumping up again.
When hard to dodge, he'd chop at the sword body with his hand, either knocking it away or simply breaking it.
"Truly, this shows a bit of the Drunken Fist combined with the Sleeping Arhat Fist style, and being able to break the Celestial Wheel Sword with one strike indicates no small strength."
Rhode emerged a bit further from Erza and Baggs' battlefield, the Shadow Wolves had already engaged in a skirmish with Loka.
This little blond with the peculiar hairstyle was quite strong, his magic seemed to make his body parts spin like electric drills, enhancing attack power.
The five Shadow Wolves lunged and bit, unable to take him down in a short time, and he had even defeated two of them.
"Summoning: Cyan Engraved Golem!" Rhode decided to end the fight quickly, "Crown of Insight!"
Blue runes appeared around both Rhode and Erza, replenishing the magic power they had expended.
"Hit him - hold back a bit, don't pound him to death."
Rhode waved, and the Golem thundered towards Loka, its massive fist coming down.
"That size is too exaggerated, right?"
Loka wanted to admit defeat but felt unwilling, gritting his teeth, his body and arms spun like drills, colliding head-on, "Rock Drill Fist!"
Bam!
Stone chips flew from the Golem's fist, and Loka's entire body was pinned against the Golem's stone arm, slamming into the nearby cliff wall.
Rhode nudged the Golem's large foot, "Didn't I tell you to hold back a bit?"
The Golem scratched its head, it had already held back a bit.
Fortunately, the person seemed fine, though looking a bit disheveled, Loka still charged while enduring the pain, "It's not over yet! WILD~~"
"Down you go!"
A Stone Beetle burst from the ground, biting Loka, and dragged him beneath, leaving only his head exposed.
But Loka hadn't given up, his body spun, drilling through the earth and jumping back to the surface, "FOUR!"
The Golem's fist swung fully, stopping at the tip of Loka's nose.
The fierce wind from the punch blew his standing hair backward, his cheeks quivering, almost pulling his lips to reveal his teeth.
Rhode wore a friendly smile nearby, "Can you admit defeat now?"
"I..." Loka wasn't someone who couldn't accept defeat, after that punch, he was sure he couldn't withstand it.
To stubbornly persist would only disgrace the Four-headed Hound.
On the other side, Erza had switched to her Flying Armor, wielding twin swords, moving at high speed, continuously slashing.
Erza seemed like a swift cheetah, weaving through the battlefield, her twin swords tracing arcs of silvery light like claws extending from the cheetah.
But Baggs moved like a human Weeble, the blades never making contact as he tumbled out of the way, rising as the other sword pursued him.
"Speed type? It's useless!" Baggs advanced, chopping Erza's wrist with one hand, sending a longsword flying, and hitting Erza's shoulder with the other.
"Ugh..." The leopard-patterned shoulder armor shattered, Erza clutching her reddened left shoulder, "A single strike breaking armor's power, and enough reaction speed to handle the Flying Armor, indeed formidable!"
"The target of that strike was the chin... You managed to avoid the vital spot in such circumstances, not bad." Baggs's arms were folded behind himself like Eagle's Wings, "Hey, but your speed to me... hmm?"
Baggs paused, suddenly feeling warmth on his face, a tiny drop of blood trickling down his cheek.
A blood mark mysteriously appeared on his face.
Rhode observed this scene, "These two seem to be equally matched opponents, don't they?"
Although Erza had blue around her, that's not something short-term to gain an advantage, but rather a long-term battle weapon.
If this continues, Baggs is bound to be worn out.
But that's not their goal, Rhode decided to interject once more.
