After Air Force One made a forced landing on Dog Town's highway, within barely thirty seconds, a dark figure sped down from the sky at an extremely high speed, arriving beside the now blazing Air Force One.
No dialogue, no hesitation. In the very first moment of landing, it used a terrifying power to directly dismantle the cabin door.
The special agents responsible for keeping the area secure opened fire the moment the cabin door gave way. However, the pitch-black Single Soldier Armor merely marched forward mechanically, swinging its fist—the agent struck was smashed into two pieces with a single punch.
The screams drew the attention of the crew inside the plane, who were hastily preparing for emergency evacuation. Two senior agents rushed out without a word, all equipped with Sianwistan gear.
One of the agents aimed an assault rifle at the armor's head and opened fire, causing the Single Soldier Armor to recoil, its head tilting backward.
In that instant, the other agent seemed to teleport to the armor's back, using his Therm Mantis Blade to precisely strike the connection between the helmet and the stand-in body.
The Mantis Blade sliced through the armor's neck like a hot knife through butter, making its helmet roll to the ground.
The agent wielding the Mantis Blade instinctively sighed in relief but soon changed his expression, as the armor performed an inhuman move, suddenly kicking backward.
The agent holding the rifle was shocked, shouting, "There's nobody inside this armor!"
Nobody!?
The Mantis Blade agent's mind froze momentarily, but it didn't stop him from crossing his hands in front to take the blow from the armor's kick.
The massive force sent him flying, while the agent with the rifle instantly discarded it, useless against the defense — with Sianwistan activated, his Gorilla Arms swung with full force, punching the armor aside.
The hefty Single Soldier Armor almost punched a hole in the aircraft, but when attacked, it merely raised its arms, at which point the mounted machine guns automatically began spewing fire.
Unlike the armor that showed no reaction to the attack, the flesh-and-blood agent dared not face the machine gun bullets at close range. He moved quickly, fortunate that the armor seemed to have lost sight, only shooting roughly.
The Mantis Blade agent who had been knocked away silently approached, grabbed the helmet from the ground, and slashed the visor without hesitation.
With the camera and imaging device within the helmet destroyed, the headless Single Soldier Armor's aim was even more inaccurate.
The two agents swiftly dealt with this headless, mindless armor and barely managed to breathe a sigh of relief.
Next, they suddenly heard a rustling sound echo around them.
The Mantis Blade agent took the risk to peek outside, then his face changed dramatically, "Shit! There are robots everywhere! And drones! We need to retreat! Quickly!"
Without hesitation, the other agent turned to find Miles, but the cabin door was already broken open.
Miles emerged, gravely escorting the limping Lark, "What's the situation?"
"We're surrounded! Drones, robots, and even mechanical dogs!"
The agent quickly explained the situation.
Lark appeared to be in pain, "Leave it to me... We must contact Mercer quickly to deploy the Netherworld Dogs for support."
"What?" An agent exclaimed, "The robots outside all belong to the Netherworld Dogs!"
"It's the rogue AI!" Lark raised her voice angrily, "Can't you see? These unmanned devices have been hacked!"
Just as she finished speaking, Dog Town's broadcast echoed, announcing Mercer declared Dog Town into an emergency state and ordered Netherworld Dog soldiers to assemble immediately, making the agents realize the urgency of the situation.
If Mercer were targeting Miles, the likelihood is that Miles's personal safety would still be assured, given no one would be insane enough to assassinate the New America's president at home.
But if it's a rogue AI, who knows what this creature might do?
"But there are just too many robots outside!" The Mantis Blade agent barely finished speaking when bullets began flying outside, and the body of Air Force One rang with hits, amidst the sound of numerous robots approaching.
"No nonsense! Follow my lead and fight our way out!" Lark's Prosthetic Eye emitted a glow, in a scene unseen by others, horrific black-red codes quickly spread outward.
The robots and mechanical dogs launching the encirclement on Air Force One instantly began smoking black smokes, exploding with blinding electric sparks.
Undoubtedly, this was the famed Black Wall attack!
Miles, who had been quiet, felt slightly steadied; this woman, despite her sturdy appearance, remained extremely calm while issuing commands, "Contact Military Science and FIA's agents in Dog Town immediately for support; we need a safe house."
"Are we not seeking help from the Netherworld Dogs?" Lark said weakly.
Miles coldly replied, "We still cannot confirm whether this attack is really the handiwork of rogue AI."
Lark paused in silence for a moment and then directly stated, "I am certain it's the rogue AI."
"You're certain?" Miles gazed at her with profound meaning but said nothing more, simply repeating, "Evacuate first, we shouldn't stay here any longer."
