Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Let Hulk and Abomination Mourn Too!

Hawk's face was cold and stern, his mind replaying the events of the night of September 10, 2009, vivid blue eyes blazing with the Fire of Revenge.

Gwen looked at the anger burning in Hawk's eyes, her expression silent.

She seemed not surprised by this at all.

In fact, she already knew. It was that night she asked her dad George for a small favor, finding it from the list of victims in the Hulk's battle against the Abomination.

After all, that photo was taken when Hawk had just started school.

Hawk had never mentioned the girl in that photo, so Gwen speculated at the time that something unfortunate might have happened to her.

Especially since the girl Anya in the photo did bear some resemblance to Hawk between the brows.

So...

She was smart and had a dad who was a sheriff, making it easy to find information.

However!

"Abomination is already dead, Hawk."

Hawk said nothing.

He thought of the movies, where Abomination was still alive and even able to be taken out by some old King of Snow from prison to fight in matches.

He hadn't watched the later plots, but if nothing unexpected, Abomination would be redeemed.

If it weren't for his own affairs, whether Abomination was redeemed or darkened, he wouldn't bother.

But after experiencing that night and thinking about this matter again, Hawk only had one feeling inside.

Disgust!

Too damn disgusting!

Just thinking of this, the flames in Hawk's heart surged but quickly settled down, rubbing his face, then looking at Gwen again with a slight smile, "By the way, Gwen, did you need anything from me?"

The flames that had just surged in his eyes now completely disappeared, as if everything was just an illusion.

Gwen looked at Hawk, who was exuding a vengeful aura one second and returned to a genial state the next, eyes showing some worry.

But she could tell Hawk didn't want to continue the topic, so she didn't press on.

Gwen smiled slightly.

"People from New York University are coming to the school today. Lady Snow couldn't find you so she called me."

"New York University?"

"Yeah."

Gwen nodded, "Lady Snow said today is Decision Day. Let's go."

Just as Hawk was about to nod.

In the next second.

His gaze fell on the golf bag tossed aside on the ground.

Hawk then looked at Gwen, "You go first, I've arranged to meet someone, planning to sell some things."

Already getting up from the ground, Gwen, upon hearing this, also saw the golf bag lying aside and then looked at Hawk.

Four eyes met.

Gwen smiled slightly.

"Alright, I'll wait for you outside and we'll go back together."

"... Okay."

Facing Gwen's gaze, Hawk was silent for a while, nodded, then watched Gwen walk toward the woodland path.

It was not until Gwen vanished from his sight that he slowly withdrew his gaze and then glimpsed the smile on the photo of his sister Anya on the tombstone, his gaze falling back onto it.

For some reason, at this moment, in his eyes, the brows of his sister Anya in the photo seemed to have an added trace of worry.

Hawk smiled slightly, as if talking to his sister Anya, yet also like talking to himself.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"You won't be in trouble either."

"Wait for me."

"It won't be long before I go to Hell to bring you home!"

After saying this, Hawk took a deep breath, and as the mixed gases were exhaled, he fully regained his previous expression. After getting up from the ground, he hooked the golf bag with his right foot, and then reached out to grasp it steadily, turning away without looking back.

How does the saying go?

Mourn?

Saying this kind of nonsense is useless, if only the enemy could mourn too!

Abomination!

Hulk!

He wouldn't let either of them go, and not only would he kill the two, but he would also find a way to Hell to bring back his sister.

Sooner or later.

Soon.

Hawk thought silently to himself, and then, after leaving the area around his sister's tombstone, he saw a woman not far away.

A woman with a bit of a wild aura, golden hair bun, ice-blue gray eyes carrying deep shrewdness, a nine-head beauty.

Just as he looked at the woman not far away, she seemed to have noticed his gaze and looked over.

Confirmed through eyes.

Hawk slightly nodded his chin.

The woman's eyes brightened, then she walked over, smiling as she extended her right hand: "Anna."

Hawk shook hands, feeling the calluses on Anna's right hand: "Hawk."

After speaking, he withdrew his right hand, brought the golf bag slung on his back to the front, and in the light of Anna's gaze, opened it directly.

Anna's eyes lit up again as she looked at the energy weapon inside the golf bag emanating five rays of ghostly light.

She instinctively reached out.

Hawk closed the bag before she could.

"Money!"

"Just a moment."

Anna was momentarily stunned, then smiled and said, pressing her right hand over the earpiece hidden behind her hair, instructing in French.

After a while.

A tall man in a black suit, wearing sunglasses, with a cold demeanor appeared in view.

The man was pushing a carry-on suitcase about twenty inches.

Anna didn't let the man come over but went to meet him, taking the suitcase, then only after the man left, she returned to Hawk, pushing the suitcase towards him: "One million."

Hawk reached out to take the suitcase while handing the golf bag containing five alien-shaped weapons to Anna.

With a click.

The suitcase opened.

Suddenly.

Bundles and bundles, neatly arranged, brand new Franklins appeared in Hawk's vision, packed full to the brim.

Hawk instinctively took a breath of cold air.

One couldn't blame him.

Being used to poverty for so long, suddenly seeing so much cash, no matter who it is, anyone would be somewhat stunned.

But Hawk quickly recovered and did not choose to check the bills one by one for counterfeits.

He felt the other party wouldn't be so stupid as to use counterfeits to fool someone who possesses a handful of Chitauri Alien weapons.

After re-securing the suitcase, Hawk got up, looking at Anna, who had also just checked the Chitauri Alien weapons.

"Then..."

Hawk spoke first, extending his right hand to Anna: "Pleasure doing business, Ms. Anna."

Anna smiled as she shook Hawk's hand: "Just call me Anna."

Hawk chuckled, smoothly changing the form of address.

"Alright, pleasure doing business, Anna."

"Pleasure doing business, Mr. Hawke, oh, we're friends now, right?"

"Of course."

Hawk said indifferently.

Anna's smile widened.

"That's great, as a friend, I have a gift for Mr. Hawke, hope you'll like it."

"..."
