Pov: Vik
As I was about to reply to her, the system's voice interrupted me.
"Ding, System has found another villain of destiny."
I stopped and focused on the system's notification, then asked in my mind, "System, what do you mean?"
System: "I mean nothing, I am just informing you that I have found another villain of destiny just like Lu Xiaoran."
Vik: "Who is this person?"
System: "Host, it's the girl currently arguing with you."
Hearing the words, I focused on the girl who was currently arguing with people around me, calling them peasants and beggars, while she herself acted like some kind of princess.
Looking at her with a neutral point of view, I think she suffered from some head injury or some harsh trauma, which made her like this; she definitely looked like a pitiful villain like Lu Xiaoran. She only had some brain issues.
Noticing my stare filled with pity, she again pointed at me and said, "You peasant, you are looking at me like I am some kind of mental patient, just wait, I will teach you a good lesson once my family guards find me."
I kept ignoring her retorts and focused on my talk with system, and said, "Ok, system, I understand she is villain of destiny, but why are you showing me this?"
System: "Host, aren't you going to accept her as your disciple?"
Vik: "System, what made you think like that?"
System: "Title of this book."
Vik: "What?"
System: "I mean, your past history, you already had one villain as your disciple, and another is also related to some curse of destiny, so I think you may start accepting every pitiful villain you find on the streets."
Vik: "System, I accept that I helped Lu Xiaoran, and I will also try to help this pitiful girl, but I'm not going to take another villain as my disciple. I already have enough problems in my hand, and I don't want to take another."
Saying this, I looked at this girl and with a polite tone I said, "My lady, I finally recognized you, you are Lina Rosewell, the only daughter of the Rosewell family." I said all this with a hint of surprise as I need to act like this.
Seeing my acting, the girl in question looked at me and said, "Finally, someone recognized me, now peasant tell all of them who I am."
After that I winked at the nearby men, who talked with me and he understand my acting so along with his help, we convinced the girl that we are good people, after that gently took out some money enough for survival of one month and said, "My lady, I don't know how you got here but please accept this money of mine, it will be enough to help you out with somethings, I am sure your family will soon find you."
The girl hesitated a bit but nonetheless accepted my gift and said, "You are a nice person, white haired man, I will definitely give you a worthy reward once I return back to my family."
With this, my work is completed. I slowly walked away, the crowd also dispersed, while the girl taking that money walked towards the other side of the road, maybe she was going to eat something new, or trying to contact he family.
While walking back to the manor, system start talking with me.
System: "Host, do you think she can survive all this? I mean, it could benefit both of you, you will get a disciple who can earn you benefits from the rebate of cultivation she achieved, while she can have her revenge on her enemies."
Vik: "System, I am not some kind of villainous character who likes to catch villains like Pokémon, then create a team of them to take revenge on the world. I am just a simple guy; even binding with you was only because you begged me. I am not going to take part in any more trouble."
System: "But host, just like you said, she definitely had some problems with her brain. I am actually monitoring her through cameras, positioned around this district. She bought the latest Myphone 17 with the money you gave her."
Vik: "What did you say? What phone?"
System: "She bought a phone out of the money you gave her, and now she is trying to call her family with it, but all her tries are wasted as no one is picking up her calls."
Vik: "No, I mean to ask the brand of that phone."
System: "Brand of phone, host she bought a Myphone 17, from My phone shop."
Vik: "Fuck, system doesn't tell this phone brand also had a logo of Apple on it."
System: "Yes, the host this phone brand uses a logo which shows two apples adjacent to each other."
Hearing system's words, I find many coincidence with my old world, maybe it is some kind of ester egg in this world. But nonetheless, knowing about the stupidity that girl Lina committed, I really though about her future, she could have used public communication to call or message why she need to buy a new phone.
Sigh!, with a sigh I said, "System, keep monitoring her if she has some problems, or her family does not come in one week, tell me I will do something about it."
System: "I knew that you would say something like this, host. Despite being arrogant, you still had a kind heart." I ignored the system's praise as I reached the manor, so I opened the gate and entered. But the view I saw inside stunned me.
Currently, Lu Xiaoran is standing at the gate of the manor, looking at the inside of the manor and inside the living room, Roman is sitting on the sofa, but that is not the problem. The girl Sherry, who is beaten unconscious by Roman, is hugging him like Kola, while he is trying to separate from her.
Sherry had a fanatical look in her eyes, and with that, she said to Roman, "Mister, please! give that big thing of yours which shoots white thunder."
Hearing this, I did not look at them anymore and put a hand on Lu Xiaoran's shoulder, taking him out while saying, "Lu Xiaoran, come with me. Roman and Sherry are going to talk about some adult things; it's not appropriate for you to hear it."
I gently took him out of the manor, and he obediently listened while hearing my words. Roman finally noticed and screamed, "Master, this is not what you think, this is a misunderstanding."
