Nirvana, that is Ho-Oh's divine role.
Outsiders all think Ho-Oh is the God of Life, with a powerful life force, even capable of reviving dead Pokemon. It's said that the Three Holy Beasts of the Johto Region were revived by Ho-Oh.
It seems only natural that Ho-Oh would have the divine role of life, but in reality, Xerneas is the one with the life role. Ho-Oh possesses the divine role of Nirvana Rebirth.
It truly does possess a tremendous life force, but fundamentally different from Xerneas.
[Newbie Ash: Nirvana divine role...]
[Rainbow Hero Ash: In any case, the Rainbow Wing is already bound to Charmander. Although you, as the bearer of the Rainbow Wing, can remove it from Charmander, I think it's best not to do so.]
[Rainbow Hero Ash: Looking at the Pokemon you currently have, the Rainbow Wing is undoubtedly most suitable for Charmander. Besides, Charmander has met the conditions to activate most of the Rainbow Wing's effects. Removing it to swap between Butterfree and Pidgeotto would be counterproductive.]
[Newbie Ash: Yeah, I won't take the Rainbow Wing off Charmander. Since it's already bound to Charmander, it's basically his now. Even if I haven't become Charmander's Trainer, I won't take it out of him.]
[Champion Ash: That's very much in the style of "me"... Well, that's the situation. I didn't get the Rainbow Wing, so I don't know how strong its effects really are, but it'll definitely help you grow quickly in the early stages. We're looking forward to your next report in the group about successfully defeating the next Gym.]
[Newbie Ash: Of course!! Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll head out now. If we keep chatting, Misty and Brock might think I fell into the toilet.]
Ash said and exited the group chat.
Looking at Ash's dimmed avatar, Champion Ash wanted to remind him he should now have a chance at a draw, considering he gathered six Pokemon, which is a milestone.
But Ash had already logged off at lightning speed, so it'll have to wait until next time, if he remembers...
...
After leaving the chat group, Ash pretended to flush and then walked out of the bathroom.
Then, with Brock and Misty, he came to the outside of the Pokemon Center, had a light free breakfast there, and the group continued their journey.
Just a short distance left to Vermilion City now. The sooner they arrive, the better, so they don't get lost again.
However, soon after Ash and the others left the Pokemon Center, a few figures appeared in front of them.
The expressions of Ash and his friends tightened, thinking it was Team Rocket again. But a closer look showed the numbers weren't right.
There were over ten people in front of them; Team Rocket never has such a large scale.
They usually only have exaggerated machinery, but it's always consistently two people and a cat.
So who are these people...
"Damian!" As a figure emerged from the crowd, even though the person's face was swollen, Ash recognized him in an instant because that swollen face was his doing!
"You little brat, I've finally got you. Couldn't teach you a lesson inside the Pokemon Center, but out here I have no such scruples!" Damian rubbed his fists, a ferocious smile on his face.
"Aren't you a tough guy? I've got ten people here, each can bring out ten Pokemon. I'd like to see how you're going to fight! In this world, it's all about influence and background. Being a tough guy is worthless!"
Before Damian finished speaking, his lackeys threw out their Pokeballs, and one Pokemon after another appeared in front of Ash and his friends. Many of the Pokemon were of the same types, though most were in their initial stages and only at the Ordinary Level. But when their numbers reach a certain threshold, it won't matter even if your level is higher.
The Team Rocket trio, who originally planned to ambush Ash from the shadows, immediately stopped and huddled in the bushes to the side.
"Who did the twerp piss off?"
"No idea... those guys look more like a villain team than us."
"If the twerp can't handle it, we should save him. Only we should defeat him and snatch Pikachu away, right Meowth?"
The trio whispered in the bushes, while Ash was already cracking his knuckles, slowly approaching.
"A gang-up? It seems you haven't seen the glorious battles where Pikachu and I took down entire flocks of Spearows. Besides, we're totally different from before!"
"Pika Pika!!"
"Laro Laro!!"
"I'll help you, Ash!" Misty said, taking out a Pokeball and standing by Ash's side.
"No need, I've got this. It'll be a good warm-up for the new member!" Ash said, throwing out all the remaining Pokeballs he had.
Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Bulbasaur, and Charmander all appeared on the field.
"That Charmander... hey, isn't that the Charmander I abandoned? Are you a garbage collector? Picking up and training the trash Pokemon I discarded? That thing couldn't even beat a Poliwag, it's just a complete waste. With trash like that, I bet you're also a... pfft!!"
Before Damian could finish, a vine whip lashed out swiftly, smacking him across the face that wasn't already swollen!
