Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Chosen Radiance, the Mysterious Pokemon Appears! Full S-Stats Panel!

The Clefairies were dancing gracefully around the giant Moon Stone in the center, and the newly arrived Clefairy leaped right in, joining them.

Although this was inside the cave of Moon Mountain, the top was an open area without any obstruction, allowing a view of the star-filled sky and the gently glowing crescent moon.

As the Clefairies continued to dance and flutter around the Moon Stone, the stones in their hands seemed to shine even brighter under the moonlight.

In the next moment, a brilliant light descended from the sky, striking the giant Moon Stone, causing the dancing Clefairies to stop and focus their gazes toward the giant Moon Stone.

Ash and the others watched this scene in shock. From their perspective, this beam of light seemed to be shining down from the moon.

Could it be that the Clefairies' dance of prayer to the divine actually worked? Has a divine presence really descended?

In the world of Pokémon, divinity generally refers to Legendary Beasts, and as for those associated with the moon… Ash and the others had no idea. Even Brock and Misty, both Gym Trainers, were not encyclopedias and could not know everything.

This extraordinary sight was something they witnessed for the first time in their lives.

The brilliant light lasted for several tens of seconds before it began to fade slowly, leaving the giant Moon Stone unchanged as if nothing had happened.

However, the sharp-eyed Ash noticed something different atop the giant Moon Stone: "Brock, Misty, look over there! Is that a Poke Egg?"

Following Ash's pointing finger, Brock and Misty focused their gaze atop the giant Moon Stone, and upon closer inspection, indeed, there appeared to be a smooth and rounded Poke Egg.

The Poke Egg was green and white, a common color for many Poke Eggs. Generally, just by the appearance, one couldn't determine what kind of Pokémon the egg belonged to.

But now the question was, why did this Poke Egg appear atop the giant Moon Stone?

Could the Poke Egg be related to the light that had been shining on it just now? Could this Pokémon have come from the moon?

With these questions in mind, Ash and the others slowly approached the giant Moon Stone.

Perhaps it was because of the gentle and innocent aura emanating from Ash and others, or maybe because the Clefairy that led Ash had communicated with the other Clefairies; their approach did not provoke any resistance or objection from the Clefairies.

As Ash and the others reached the front of the giant Moon Stone, it suddenly radiated an intense light!

The previously dim and dark night was instantly illuminated as if it were daylight!

Ash and the others reflexively shielded their faces with their hands as the light came and went quickly, dissipating after just a few seconds.

But as the light faded, the giant Moon Stone, which had shone with a moonlit glow, also lost its radiance.

Simultaneously, tiny cracks began to appear atop the giant Moon Stone, and ultimately, under the astonished gaze of Ash and the others, it shattered with a loud crash!

"What's happening! How did the Moon Stone break!"

"The Moon Stone losing its glow means that the energy inside it has been absorbed and used up. Once depleted, an Evolution Stone will naturally shatter." Brock even found time to explain the principle of the Moon Stone's shattering to Ash, but before Ash could finish listening to Brock's explanation, he had already darted forward.

Because with the shattering of the Moon Stone, the Poke Egg atop it also fell.

Thankfully, Ash acted quickly, catching the Poke Egg in his hands. Seeing the egg safely in his grip, Ash let out a sigh of relief.

Before Ash could say anything, the Poke Egg in his hands made a slight sound.

Then, right under the eyes of the three and the many Clefairies, cracks began to appear on the surface of the Poke Egg!

"Why is the Poke Egg cracking! Could it have broken after hitting something just now? Brock, Misty, should we head back to the Pokemon Center in Pewter City first?" Ash asked anxiously, looking at the cracked Poke Egg in his hand.

"Wait, Ash, it doesn't seem to be broken, but rather…" Misty stopped Ash's impulsive thoughts and was about to reassure him when the Poke Egg in Ash's hand suddenly shone with a dazzling light again!

In less than ten minutes, there had been three bursts of light shining in the night. If the trio didn't have healthy eyes, they might have been blinded by these lights.

Ash closed his eyes while Pikachu, Misty, and Brock shielded their eyes with their hands, as Ash couldn't free his hands or else the Poke Egg would fall to the ground.

With the light once again gone, Ash, no longer feeling the glare, gently opened his eyes to see a blue mushroom head with a small piece of white eggshell on top.

When Ash fully opened his eyes, the complete form of the Pokémon before him was reflected in his gaze.

A blue little mushroom head, with two red horns in the middle of her hair separating it, and beneath the mushroom head, her eyes were unseen, only her slightly parted little mouth could be seen breathing.

Her body appeared in a pale pink hue, and currently, there was still a small piece of white eggshell on her head, with her little feet standing within the shell, looking adorable yet a bit amusing.

[Species: Ralts]

[Skills: Tackle, XXXX]

[Six-dimensional Ability: Physical Attack E (S) Special Attack E (S) Defense E (S) Special Defense E (S) Physical Strength E (S) Speed E (S)]

Ash: !!!

What on earth, did he see it wrong? Is there something wrong with the Eye of Insight?!

What does an all S-level ability cap mean?!

According to the Ashes in the group, an S-level ability cap is nearly one in a million among regular Pokémon, and that's just a single S-level. If all six-dimensional abilities have an S cap, it can't even be described as one in a million.

Even out of millions or tens of millions of regular Pokémon, it's rare to find a situation where all attributes are S. The S-level cap signifies not only a peak talent in a Pokémon but also represents another possibility.

As for what that possibility is, the group's experts had not detailed it to him, merely saying that when he encounters a Pokémon with an S-level potential, he should ask in the group then, otherwise, it would only affect his mindset, making him anxious.

However, the Ashes in the group probably didn't expect that even less than half a month after his departure, he would encounter a Pokémon with an S-grade potential, and indeed one where all attributes are S-grade!

This can't even be described as a stroke of luck.

"Ralu?" Ralts turned her little head within the Poke Egg, finally focusing her gaze on Ash. Although her eyes couldn't be seen through her hair, Ash could feel that she was looking at him.

"Um…hello?" Unsure how to greet the little one in front of him, Ash could only blurt out a trademark-style greeting.

"Lalu!" As soon as Ash spoke, Ralts jumped out of the eggshell, her little hands clinging to Ash's neck, her entire body pressed against his chest. But her small frame was so light, Ash barely felt any weight at all.
