Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Parallel World Chat Group—Everyone Has a Maxed-Out Account Except Me as a Starter?

Pokemon Calendar Year XX.

This year has been incredibly tumultuous for all Trainers of the Pokemon Alliance!

Because this year's World Championship determined the eight most powerful Trainers!

After a series of elimination rounds, the strongest world champion was selected—Leon!

From this year on, there is no longer any doubt who the strongest Trainer in the world is.

Countless Trainers worldwide have set Leon as their target and begun their journeys.

Among them, in Pallet Town of the Kanto League, a young boy also prepares to start his new journey...

...

"Wow!! I'm going to be late!! Mom, why didn't you wake me!" The young boy with Z-shaped markings on his cheeks dashed out of his room in his pajamas, shouting while frantically searching for his clothes.

"Hmm? Ash, you're already fifteen years old. It's not right to still need your mom to wake you up." The woman cleaning the living room softly replied, but before her words could finish, Ash was already out of sight.

At this point, Ash was almost an hour late and had no time to change clothes, so he dashed out wearing pajamas and slippers.

Ash's house is nearly two kilometers away from Oak's Research Institute, but he took less than five minutes to arrive. Townsfolk felt a gust pass by and then could only see a distant figure.

However, just as Ash was about to reach Oak's Research Institute, he suddenly clutched his head and fell to one knee, his face contorting in pain.

Ash was now enduring a flood of inexplicable messages, feeling as if his head was about to explode.

Chat group... myself from a parallel world... ability inheritance... What the heck is all this?!

'Congratulations on successfully joining the All-Heavens Chat Group. Everyone inside is a version of you from a parallel world. Please communicate well with "yourself" and rise to the pinnacle as a Trainer.'

'This chat group includes the function of ability inheritance. Major events encountered in the real world, such as obtaining Gym Badges, capturing special Pokemon, and becoming Celestial King Champion, will earn draw chances. The draw contents are various abilities of the chat group members. Please enter the chat group for details.'

The messages above were summarized after being bombarded with countless notifications. Ash couldn't understand any of it.

Yet he could distinctly perceive a point inside his mind; by focusing his consciousness onto that point, he could enter the chat group as mentioned by the strange voice.

The sudden uncanny event left Ash, only fifteen years old, slightly frightened. Could he have been possessed by a ghost?

But his youthful vigor also brought impulsiveness and courage. After considering, he decided to touch the point in his mind with his consciousness.

In the next second, Ash felt his consciousness drift away from his body, floating in a vast, ethereal space with a large screen present.

"What... what is this!"

[Champion Ash: Yo, a newcomer has arrived? Which arena is this version of me from?]

Seeing the words appear on the screen alongside the signature, Ash jumped again!

Cham... Champion Ash? What the heck!

[Ash the Aura Guardian: Another big shot in an elite field arrives, group status minus one.]

[Breeder Ash: Wonder if this time it's a version of me with accomplishments in breeding. Most here focus on battles, finding someone specializing in breeding is tough.]

[...]

Reading the floating messages in the group, Ash was even more confused. Not just Champion Ash, but who or what are Aura Guardian and Breeder?

[Ash: How do you send messages on this thing?]

[Ash: Uh, did this just send out?]

[Ash: Who are you guys? Why do you all have my name? What's with those titles?]

Ash attempted to communicate with the various Ashs on the screen, not knowing how to send messages; however, with a single thought, his words appeared.

This thing only requires a bit of mental effort to send messages.

[Champion Ash: It's normal for a newcomer to be unclear about the situation. Let me explain.]

[Champion Ash: The members here, or group members, are all versions of you. There's a concept called parallel worlds; every decision you make, like going left or right, creates two parallel worlds.]

[Champion Ash: Everyone in this group, including myself, has accomplished something significant within different fields; for example, I became world champion after numerous battles.]

[Champion Ash: The one named Ash the Aura Guardian didn't rely on Pokemon to become a champion, but with his Aura talent, he became a human Legendary Beast capable of confronting Legendary Beasts. In Pokemon matters, he might not match me, but in physical development, he outclasses ten of me.]

[Champion Ash: The Breeder Ash focuses on breeding, with not much success in battles; however, as a Breeder, he's undeniably world-class, perhaps even the best worldwide.]

[Champion Ash: So, newcomer, which field do you stand at the pinnacle in?]

Champion Ash's explanation allowed Ash to gradually understand what these people were about.

Despite his lack of academic prowess, with such a detailed explanation from Champion Ash, if he couldn't comprehend it, he'd be no better than a pig, right?

Basically, the beings within this so-called chat group are alternate versions of himself who stand at different peaks in varied fields; Champion Ash specializes in battles, Breeder Ash focuses on breeding, Aura Ash excels in body enhancement...

Communicating with other versions of oneself from different worlds is truly a fascinating thing, though a somewhat awkward issue presents itself for Ash...

Everyone in the group has reached the zenith of some field, whereas he has only just begun his journey and hasn't even received his first Pokemon as a provisional Trainer, and he's late to boot.

Compared to the big shots in the group, he's just a newbie Kirkla!

[Ash: Um, I don't really know what I'm outstanding at right now; I've just prepared to receive my first Pokemon, and I'm already running late.]

[Champion Ash: What?! Just embarked on your journey?! Really, all Ashs here are usually top-notch in some arena. Has a pure newbie never appeared until now?]

As an experienced group member, Champion Ash was momentarily stunned; indeed, it seemed a pure newcomer had truly emerged?

Using online lingo, the Ashs in the group are generally fully developed accounts, yet suddenly, a starter account showed up... What's going on here?
