A week passed by in an instant since the announcement of the Goodwill event was made.
The thumb war between Naoya and Yuki was won by Yuki, who simply used her technique to hold Naoya's thumb. Naoya knew she had cheated, but since he couldn't prove it, he had no grounds to complain.
In the end, Yuki won the deal and got the right to challenge Satoru first.
Naoya could simply hope that his son won't go easy on Yuki and would come to him later to get his ass handed to him.
There was the option of simply ignoring the result and going after Satoru anyway, and frankly, it was tempting. However, if he got the opportunity to see the two Special Grades other than him duke it out, he wouldn't want to miss that.
Currently in front of the giant Torii entrance of the Kyoto Jujutsu High, the students were waiting for the arrival of the students from their sister school.
Naoya looked composed and was eyeing the staircase.
Soon, he caught a familiar figure approaching him.
The figure in question was Satoru, who was accompanied by the Tokyo students and their teacher and principal.
Naoya took a step forward while Satoru stopped walking. Both looked at each other with a confident smile.
To the onlookers, it looked like a scene straight out of a manga where the two MCs were gauging each other.
That scene lasted exactly two seconds.
"SON!!!!" yelled Naoya, throwing his arms wide.
"DADDY!!!!" yelled Satoru in response, sprinting forward.
The audience blinked their eyes in surprise, not able to handle the sudden shift from the scene they were witnessing.
The two Special Grade sorcerers ignored everyone else and collided mid-run, hugging and hopping around like idiots.
"I missed you, bro!"
"Same here! You won't believe how much the teachers nag me there. Like, can't a boy wreck things during missions?! Those people are too much!!" said Satoru with a smile.
The two of them broke the hug and did a fist bump routine before they started talking once again, ignoring the others.
The other students and teachers looked at the two boys talking excitedly and decided to let go of the matter, and decided to introduce themselves to the other party.
"So, how's Kyoto?" asked Satoru.
"Like you don't know. We have talked about it over the phone. Did you clear our allegations of being 'involved'?" asked Naoya.
"Huh? Why would I?" asked Satoru.
"Don't mess with me, Satoru."
"I am not."
"Listen here. What will we do if people keep misunderstanding us?"
"We are misunderstood. It's too late to be bothered about that. Just give up and accept your fate of being 'shipped' with me," replied Satoru.
"..."
Naoya already had a gun in hand. He was going to end his supposed 'lover' on his own.
"I won't accept this fate. I will clear this misunderstanding once and for all. I mean. What if Ruriko-san misunderstands and thinks that I am unavailable? That would be so wrong."
Satoru stared at Naoya for a while and soon, without any warning, pounced on Naoya.
Naoya inturn blocked the attack, and the two soon got into a quarrel.
The audience looked at the two idiots and face-palmed.
After getting Satoru in a chokehold, Naoya halted the fight.
"We will settle this in the goodwill event!" declared Satoru.
"Yeah...about that. Firstly, you would have to fight with Yuki-senpai," said Naoya and let go of Satoru.
Satoru blinked in confusion and looked at Yuki.
"Is she the one because of whom we couldn't get into the same branch? Why the hell would I do her first when I am only here to do you?"
Without hesitation, Naoya smacked Satoru, planting him on the floor.
"Phrasing."
"I said what I said," replied Satoru and prevented himself from being hurt by using infinity.
"Still, why would I have to fight her first?"
"We got into a thumb fight, and she won by cheating. I can't prove it, but she definitely did. Now she gets to fight you first," explained Naoya.
"...Satoru Gojo don't tolerate cheaters except for himself. Leave it to me, my good friend Naoya. I will deal with her and avenge you. I will show her what cheating actually looks like," said Satoru in a determined tone.
"What a good kid. Don't go losing after saying all that. It is my duty as the father to whoop my son's ass."
"Heh, it's time to know your place. I will win this time for sure."
The two glared for a bit before smiling excitedly and walking towards their respective groups.
"So? He is the one you have been talking about since the announcement of the Goodwill event," said a black-haired boy from the Tokyo Jujutsu high and eyed Naoya from top to bottom.
Naoya eyed the kid back. From his description, he could guess who he was since Satoru had told him a lot about his school on the phone.
"Damn right, he is the man, the myth, the legend, Naoya. Naoya, this is Suguru. I guess you can already tell that," said Satoru.
"Naoya Zenin. Satoru did tell me about you all," said Naoya while Satoru himself stood beside him with his chest swelling with pride.
"Satoru gave me an ample description of you guys, the man who is deeply into eating cursed spirit balls, Suguru Geto," said Naoya.
He then turned towards the brown-haired girl and continued, "The smoking enthusiast, Shoko Ieri."
He then turned towards the final member of the Tokyo students group, "The shotacon with multiple restraining orders, Mei Mei-senpai."
"Yeah! You nailed it, Naoya!" exclaimed Satoru and slapped Naoya's back with happiness.
The other three looked at the two special grades with their eyes wide open and immediately turned towards Satoru, who was giving such a description of them to his friend.
"Satoru!!!" yelled Shoko and Suguru while Mei Mei was simply smiling at her junior, keeping a note in her mind to make him regret it later.
"Haha," laughed Satoru while being strangled by Shoko and Suguru.
Naoya smiled at them, and just like that, their first meeting with their sister school ended.
-----
Later, the students and teachers went their separate ways.
After all the students had introduced themselves, they went to the cafeteria to have a meal.
While Naoya was amazing the Tokyo students with his 'light eating', the principals and teachers of both schools were in a meeting with people from Jujutsu HQ.
"Rest assured, we will set up the barriers for this year's Goodwill event," said one of the personnel from Jujutsu HQ.
Gakuganji, after realising the threat of letting three Special Grade sorcerers fight in such close proximity, relayed his worries to the Jujutsu HQ and asked for assistance.
Cancelling the event was not an option since it was a tradition for all sorcerers who went through the Jujutsu High. Also, it is their opportunity to see and study all the next-generation special grades in action. The HQ was very much interested in the Goodwill event and immediately assigned the barrier experts from the HQ for this event.
Being such a high-stakes event, the HQ decided to let the sorcerers go a bit overboard this time and let the special grades have a bit more room to fight it out. For that, a simple curtain barrier was not going to cut it.
A controlled Exorcism Zone. A zone set up within layers of barriers, each performing a different function, and all of these would be fused into one giant combination barrier.
Each layer will be tailor-made to overcome the cursed technique of a special grade based on the knowledge they already have. Apart from these, separate barriers that were normally used for a goodwill event.
After explaining to the teachers and principals, the barrier experts got on their jobs and started forming binding vows that would be used for the barrier tomorrow.
Once they were gone, the two teachers and principals sighed in relief.
"Good thinking on your part principal Gakuganji."
"Yes. Knowing Gojo, he would most certainly go overboard."
"Our Tsukomo is no less rowdy. She has been preparing well to fight against the Gojo kid."
"There is Zenin as well, but he is level-headed. He is not one to escalate things too much. With this much preparation, I am sure there won't be any issues."
The four of them nodded and agreed with that comment.

The next day in the morning, Naoya and the rest of the students made their way to their respective groups for their team meeting.
Because Satoru was staying at the dorm, Naoya also decided to stay the night at the school and have some fun with Satoru and the others.
On his way to his group, he saw a familiar set of people walking around.
"Grandpa?"
"Hm? There you are."
"Nii-Nii!!!"
Kagenori came to the school along with Maki and Mai. The twins, seeing Naoya, immediately waved enthusiastically at him.
Naoya waved back and walked towards the three.
"What are you guys doing here?" asked Naoya.
"Came to see the Goodwill event. Some of my friends from the HQ are here today, so I came here. The little ones said that they wanted to see the match as well."
"Really? You want to see me fight?" asked Naoya, and looked at the twins.
The two nodded, and Maki pointed at her glasses.
"I wear glasses to see curses. Nii-Nii fighting Satoru!" said Maki.
"Nii-Nii beat Satoru!!!" cheered Mai.
The twins were familiar with Satoru and were his sworn enemies. Not only does the white-haired evil boy steal Naoya and their snacks whenever he arrives, but he also annoys the two to the core. Once Kagenori told the two that Naoya would be fighting Satoru, the two decided to see their brother beat the shit out of the white-haired evil.
"You two sure can hold a grudge, huh..." muttered Naoya and patted their heads. Well, now that the two of them are asking him to do so, he needs to do it. He can't ruin his image now.
After parting from them, Naoya arrived at his meeting location, where everyone was already there.
After discussing for a while and getting briefed on the rules by their respective principals.
-----
The rules were as follows:
1) The goodwill event will last for two days. On the first day, there will be a team event. On the second day, they will have individual fights.
2) There was a no-killing rule; apart from that, all Jujutsu was allowed, techniques, and cursed tools. All were fair game.
3) Only students upto 3rd year were allowed; however, after mutual agreement between both the schools, even Yuki was permitted to enter despite being a 4th year student. (The fact that Yuki threatened to level the entire school if she was not allowed to participate had nothing to do with this decision.)
Today was the team event, and the theme was a territory flag battle.
Both sides will be assigned a particular area as their base. Each base will have a flag.
The goal of the event is to either neutralise all enemies from the opposing side or steal their flags and bring them back to your own base.
There are also some cursed spirits spread around the game area, and exorcising them gives points.
Grade 4 - 1 point
Grade 3 - 2points
Semi Grade 2 - 3 points
Grade 2 - 5 points
Opposing sorcerer - 10 points
Opposing Special Grade - 50 points.
In case both sides are unable to steal the flags, the winner will be decided based on the points of the team.
There were 10 of each grade of cursed spirits and four sorcerers on each side.
-----
Currently inside the barrier, the students from both schools checked their surroundings.
Naoya looked at the barrier around him and said, "So they made a special barrier specifically for us."
"Seems so. They said that we can go all out if we want, with an annoying smirk on their faces," replied Yuki.
Naoya nodded and then turned towards the other two.
"We will go as planned. I will do the opening strike, after which you all are free to move. I will guard our flag," said Naoya.
Kuroko and Utahime nodded seriously while Yuki simply cracked her knuckles.
"The match starts in 10 seconds. Both sides are prepared."
The voice announced.
Naoya looked towards the forest in front of him and stretched his palms.
"Senpai."
"Hm?"
"They told us to go all out, right?"
"Yes. In an annoying tone, specifically," added Yuki.
"Well....can't disappoint them now, can we?" asked Naoya with a smirk.
Yuki smirked back in response, understanding what Naoya meant.
Utahime looked horrified, understanding what Naoya meant.
Kuroko was already hiding behind Yuki, ready to protect himself from anything that Naoya might do.
"START!!!!"
The moment the voice rang through the field, Naoya jumped up and flew in the air by partially summoning [Nue] and started gathering cursed energy.
"Let's start with a bang."
On the opposite side of the field, Satoru was in the air as well, seemingly having the same idea as Naoya.
Both of them looked at each other and, with a giant smirk on their face,s used their moves.
"Don't you dare look down on me!!!!!" yelled both Naoya and Satoru simultaneously, seemingly telling this to the smug barrier experts.
[Cursed Technique Lapse - Maximum Output: Blue]
A giant mass of blue was launched by Satoru towards his side of the forest.
[Solid Shadow Maximum Output - H.A.M (Huge Ass Meteor)]
A giant mass of solidified shadows appeared above Naoya's hand.
The people who were spectating the match were already on their toes, hoping that what they were seeing was a dream.
The barrier experts were looking at the black meteor and the attractive blue in horror.
Naoya, however, didn't feel that he was going all out and decided to add one final touch.
[Projection Sorcery]
With his technique active, he applied it to the meteor and let it crash down with immense speed that, coupled with its mass, was just enough to let Naoya be satisfied, and the entire forest on both sides, along with the cursed spirits, was destroyed.
The aftermath was about to reach his friends as well, though before it could, he reached them and protected them inside his shadow barrier.
"ZENIN!!!!!!!" yelled Utahime in anger
"Hahaha!!!!!!!" laughed Naoya out loud, enjoying the reactions.
