Chapter 82: The Attitudes of the Two Main Wives

After accompanying Anon through the near-breakdown of her band's performance that night, her dependence on Ren grew even deeper.

Having stepped back from band matters these past few days, Anon realized how beautiful the world could be. Why would she willingly subject herself to such stress?

With this clarity of mind, Anon set aside her guitar. After all, in MyGO, she wasn't the lead vocalist, lead guitarist, or even the band leader.

Although the band was initially formed by her and Soyo, its eventual establishment was largely due to Tomori. She was truly the soul of MyGO, though her personality flaws were even greater than Hitori's, and she lacked a supportive partner like Ren by her side.

So when problems arose, she withdrew into herself rather than stepping up to resolve the band's difficulties.

None of this affected Ren, however. After watching Anon's band performance, his life quickly returned to its usual routine.

Another week passed in the blink of an eye, and the weekend arrived. Although it had been nearly two weeks since they had last been intimate, Ren and Hitori didn't indulge recklessly. Instead, they invited friends over to hang out.

Weekends were for dates with loved ones or gathering friends for fun. Especially since everyone knew Anon had been struggling with her band activities lately, Karen and Hitori thought to invite Anon over to help her relax.

Of course, Satou and Yuno weren't left out either, and the gathering was held at Ren's spacious apartment.

"?!"

"Ren, why didn't you tell me about this amazing place sooner!!?"

Upon arriving at Ren's new home, Anon was unusually excited. Among all the pink-haired girls, she was the one most fond of luxurious mansions. What did this mean? It meant she had something new to show off!

Ocean-view villas were rare, and spacious apartments like this were equally uncommon.

As she spoke, Anon couldn't resist pulling out her phone, snapping pictures left and right, leaving no corner untouched. These photos would be enough for her to flaunt on social media for a month.

"I was afraid you'd pester me to come over and disrupt my dates. So, interested in becoming the lady of this house? I can even put your name on the property deed."

Ren knew exactly what Anon's weaknesses were and casually teased her with a half-serious joke.

"Guh... D-damn it, don't treat me like a gold digger!!"

Anon had to admit, she was tempted. But she only cared about vanity, not money. That damn Ren wouldn't shake her principles that easily.

"So... Ren doesn't actually need me to support him?"

Satou, learning for the first time that Ren was this wealthy, stared blankly. She had looked into Ren's family situation and had been working part-time every day, saving up so she could support him in the future, even if he didn't want to work.

But now, it turned out Ren didn't need her financial support at all.

"Hehe~ Everyone likes it, right? Including the master bedroom, there are exactly five bedrooms~"

Karen chuckled softly. Both she and Hitori had simple mindsets—what was Ren's was also theirs. What mattered most was their emotional bond, with material comforts coming second.

However, they could still understand how tempting these material comforts were, and regarding the matter of Anon and the other two, whether to let them join Ren's harem.

Over the past two weeks, they had many private conversations.

First was Anon, Ren's childhood friend. If they really missed this chance, Ren would surely regret it in the future. They didn't want to see him sighing with regret some night. Since the harem was already established, adding Anon wouldn't hurt.

Next were Yuno and Satou. To be honest, after learning they were genuine yanderes who would actually wield knives, Karen was somewhat afraid of them.

But Hitori made a valid point—Yuno and Satou might love Ren even more than they did.

While Yuno and Satou might harbor hostility toward them, even posing some danger, they would never harm Ren. Because these yanderes wouldn't attack their loved one when triggered—they'd go after the people around him instead.

Therefore, both Karen and Hitori thought they could be allowed to join. This gathering, framed as a friends' meetup without inviting Ikuyo and others, was meant to test their attitudes.

Yuno looked deeply at Karen and Hitori. Straightforwardness counters tsunderes, innocent sweetness counters schemers, and the combination counters yanderes. Though different from how fools can counter experts, she found herself completely restrained by their approach.

They were willing to let Ren maintain a harem and even actively creating opportunities for them, doing what's best for both Ren and themselves. What could she possibly say against that?

Thus, Yuno accepted Hitori and Karen. Though their personalities differed, their attitudes toward Ren were undoubtedly similar.

Meanwhile, Anon excitedly wandered around the house, getting a taste of the young mistress experience.

As for Ren, he was looking at job postings. He had previously planned to hire a maid with a monthly salary of 5 million yen, flexible working hours, on-call availability, and rest periods when not needed—quite generous compensation. But no one had applied yet.

His requirements were high: applicants must be pink-haired beauties under 25 years old. This condition filtered out most candidates, not to mention this being a housekeeper position, making the pool even smaller.

Why demand someone so young? Just for eye candy? Perhaps this housekeeper might eventually become a lover.

As his desires expanded and he realized maintaining a harem wasn't that difficult, Ren didn't deny he might have some thoughts about a young, beautiful housekeeper. After all, they'd be living together—if not treated as family, then as a wife.

Don't elders always say to find a virtuous, caring girl to marry? He was just following conventional wisdom.

But such a determined pink-haired beauty hadn't appeared yet. Ren wasn't anxious—he believed he'd eventually meet one.

As for now, watching the women chatting harmoniously under Karen's guidance, Ren also understood her and Hitori's intention—they were agreeing to let him bring Yuno and the others into his Harem as well.

This presented no difficulty whatsoever for Ren. Forget about the future—if he were to ask now, Yuno and Satou would undoubtedly agree immediately.

But since Karen and Hitori had set such a touching example, how could Ren possibly divide his affection among others at this moment?

After the gathering ended, Yuno and the other two voluntarily left. Matters of mutual support and declaration didn't need to be overly explicit—they all understood each other's intentions. Since Karen and Hitori had given them face and opportunity, they ought to respond appropriately rather than push their luck with excessive demands.

Thus, they tacitly yielded tonight's time to Karen and Hitori.

Another fundamental requirement for establishing a Harem is first satisfying the original members. After Yuno and the others departed, Ren picked up Hitori and, accompanied by Karen's cheerful laughter, they returned to the master bedroom together. Their bond had already grown stronger than biological sisters—they did everything together.
