After the ritual, Adrian needed connection desperately.
He found Kieran in their quarters, working on sanctuary logistics. Without a word, Adrian climbed into his lap, needing closeness.
"Are you okay?" Kieran asked, setting his work aside immediately.
"I am now. But I need you. Need to feel connected."
Kieran understood without further explanation. He carried Adrian to their bed, laying him down gently.
"Let me take care of you," Kieran said.
He undressed Adrian slowly, his touches reverent. His mouth followed his hands, kissing every inch of exposed skin, worshipping Adrian's body.
"You're safe," Kieran murmured between kisses. "You're loved. You're cherished. I'm here."
Adrian relaxed under the attention, his fears melting away. When Kieran finally entered him, it was slow and gentle, designed to comfort rather than excite intensely.
"I love you," Kieran said, moving carefully. "I'm not going anywhere. We're bonded for eternity. Nothing can separate us."
"Promise?"
"Promise. Forever, Adrian. We have forever."
They made love slowly, tenderly, reconnecting emotionally and physically. When they came together, it was gentle and perfect, both crying from the emotional release.
After, Kieran held Adrian close, stroking his hair, murmuring words of love and reassurance.
"Better?" Kieran asked.
"Much better. Thank you."
"Always. Whenever you need me, I'm here."
