Li Wei (Cain reborn) came to them with a question.
"How do bonded mates... you know. With the blood drinking and the sex. How does that work?"
Adrian tried not to laugh at the teenager's awkwardness. "Are you asking for sex education?"
"I'm asking how vampire intimacy works! I have Cain's memories but they're from thousands of years ago. Things might have changed."
Kieran and Adrian exchanged glances.
"The basics are the same," Kieran said. "Feeding and sex are often connected for vampires. It's intimate, pleasurable for both parties. With bonded mates, it's more intense."
"Show me?" Li Wei asked, then immediately backtracked. "Not by doing it in front of me! God no. But like... explain? Demonstrate verbally?"
Adrian took pity on him. "Blood drinking releases endorphins in both vampires. Makes it pleasurable. During sex, many vampires feed from their partners simultaneously."
"Does it hurt?"
"The opposite. It enhances pleasure." Adrian glanced at Kieran. "Should we...?"
"Might as well. He needs to understand vampire intimacy."
They explained the mechanics, the emotional components, the way the blood bond amplified everything. Li Wei listened with a mixture of curiosity and embarrassment.
"So you two are basically in a constant state of wanting each other?" Li Wei asked.
"Pretty much," Adrian confirmed. "Bonded mates have intense physical needs."
"That sounds exhausting."

After Li Wei left, Adrian turned to Kieran with a grin. "That conversation made me want you."
"Everything makes you want me."
"True. But teaching someone about vampire sex specifically made me want to demonstrate."

"We're terrible role models," Adrian said afterward.
